In other words,

Chatterbox: Blab About Books

CB Author Interviews AKA Author of (every other) Day!
In other words,...

In other words, a way for us to flatter each other immensely.

A lot of big shot writers- and debut authors and Other Authors- get interviewed and those interviews sometimes make it to a publisher's website, fansite, YouTube, TV sometimes, etc. etc.

Well, now it's time for the authors of the ChatterBox to get star treatment!

Every other day, someone will get picked to be Interviewed. Fellow CBers will post 3 questions i.e. Why did you start to write? and then the Author of (every other) Day will answer them (for their alloted 2 days of CB Stardom!). And then after their 2 days are over, they'll choose someone else to interview (or they could let me choose since I have too much time on my hands... *hinthint*)! And repeat repeat repeat. This is a good way to get everyone prepped and ready for their future real-life author interviews. And it's also fun. And flattering.

Try to pick someone who posts frequently, since they only have two days to answer des questions. (an easy way to do this is to click "Last Reply" on the thread twice so you can see who posted recently_

Now lettuce begin!

Let's start with... (*searches Inkwell and BaB for frequent post'er*)

SC!

From the information that I can gather in a few seconds, the intelligent SC is a frequent post'er on RPS. She is currently a part of the Deaderlands RP (which she also started) in which she plays/writes as Peter Pan. She is also part of the RP started by the phenomenal ARPS which currently has no title. She writes as Juliet Butler in said RP. There is a countless number of other RPs and RRs which she is a part of and/or started.

She was a participant- and winner- of the 2011 NaNoWriMo. Her hobbies include the delicate and renowned art of Running Like a Maniac, playing the piano and chorus. The music she novels to includes: New Divide and Famous Last Words, and the music she listens to when she is not novel'ing includes Muse, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and- occasionally- Greenday. She currently lives Somewhere In the Universe but also vacations to Narnia on occasion.

Her works include but are not limited to:

The Guardian Angiks of Demok High (a novel written for NaNoWriMo)

Endeyrory Pracea also known as Endey the Slayer in An Untitled Dragon RP (started by the amazing Tiffany W.)

Cartmer Tylara Animesti Tasbreeyard vika'Drom in New Character Lounge (which she also started)

Hephaestus in Mythology RP (started by the ever-so-smart Choco)

Nyx in Mythology RP

Shade Chase in Put-Your-Character-In-A-Room (started by the amazing Quintus) Shade Chase was also featured in another Character Lounge

Dante Rossi in Steampunk Fantasy Circus That Definitely Didn't Copy The Night Circus By Erin Morgenstern (started by yours truly)

Q&A Time!

(try a minimum of 3 for Maximum Flattering but more is always appreciated I'm sure)

Q: When did you start writing?

Q: Who is your favourite character that you have written? Including both original fiction and RP characters.

Q: Which character that you wrote would you say is most like you?

(sneaking in an extra few questions)

Q: Which character that you didn't write would you say is most like you?

Q: If you could write a story of your life, what would be the title?

And I probably stole half those questions from some interview or English worksheet. ;)

Now let the games begin!

(and if you were wondering, when I do my research, I do my research well) ;)

For Blackberry E.:

1. If your favorite character you created ever saw your room, what would he/she say?

2. Do you like writing villains or heroes better?

3. If the character you answered for number one played Scrabble with me, would he let me pass off fake words as real ones?

Here's some:

1. If you had to switch lives with any of your characters for one day who would it be?

2. What's the best part about writing?

3. What's your favorite RP ever?

4. How long have you been writing?

5. If you could play any role in any movie what would it be?

6. Who's your favorite author?

7. What's the most common personality you give your characters?

8. If all your favorite characters went to a party how would it end?

9. If your favorite character was trapped in a box with a creepy-looking clown making lots of balloon animals, would they go crazy?

10. Do watching movies/listening to songs tend to change your mood?

(That last one happens to me sometimes.)

@Melody: YES! Thank you!!!!

Here are my answers:

1) If my fave character I created saw my room, she'd probably say that it's a nice room, but kinda small.

2) I like writing villains more b\c it's fun to make up all the sorts of evil things they do. ;)

3) I don't think she would. Lol.

Q: If you had to choose one rule for writing, what would it be?

Q: If you could fight against any villain in either your fiction or other fiction, who would it be?

Q: What is your writing process? (Including revising, editing, etc. etc.)

@Olive

1) If there was one rule for writing, it would be to have fun!

2) It would probably be a ghost that is going to be in one of my books.

3) Write a story, read it over, find what I need to change, edit it, and maybe illustrate it if I want.

What is the the name you use most often for charas?

Do you find it easier to invent boys or girls? (for some reason, for me it's boys)

Do you often decide that something you wrote is no good and change the whole storyline randomly?

@Tiffany W.

1) I always try to mix names, but I like using the name Samantha a lot.

2) It's easier for me to invent girls because since I'm obviously one, I can relate to them better.

3) *Sigh* When I decide something I wrote is no good, I keep the plot, but change characters, locations, etc.

What is your favorite thread character you created?

What is your least favorite food?

I was chosen on the 24th and today is the 25th. I'll post the next AoEOD tomorrow!

What is your favorite thread character you created?

Alice Corker du "Night-Circus-esque-thread-that-definitely-didn't-copy-the-book"

She's one of the only characters I remember. Well, there are a bunch of HPRP ones but I forgot their names...

What is your least favorite food?

Liver. That stuff tastes like blood/metal. *shudder* Cow tongue is LOADS better (it tastes like mushrooms!)

If you had superpowers, what would you want to be able to do?

Teleport. I love travelling and photographing things so that would be loads more faster, more convenient and more cheap than airplanes/roadtrips/trains/buses.

Have I mentioned how honoured I am yet? No? Well, I'll mention it now. (and yes, that was honour with a "u")

Q: What is your favorite thread that you've started?

A: I've started so many threads! When I first entered the CB, I made dozens that were mostly annoying blather. But I've toned it down a bit. :) I guess I would have to say my favourite thread would be this one.

Q: Overall, What are your feelings about dragons?

I am honestly not a huge fan of dragons. I can't recall a single book that I liked relating to dragons (other than Harry Potter of course, but I don't LOVE that series) and I only wrote a few things dragon-based; their lifespan was 1-2 days.

Q: Have you ever been to another country?

I have been to the USA. Specifically: California (2-4 times because a lot of my relatives live there), New York (once, mostly just NYC, again for relatives), New Jersey (I wanted to see Snookie. Kidding! I was there for a few hours for relatives) and Pennesylvania for an hour- I went to NYC via roadtrip and that meant cutting through PN. That's about it. I am going to Quebec soon though, which is in Canada but it's like France because it's French-speaking.

Questions for Olive:

1: Think of a random character you created... I'll wait...

OK, now describe their left foot.

2: Do your characters like cheese normally?

3: What is the role play you are in that you are most proud to belong to?
