It's a truth universally acknowledged that life can kinda suck. Especially nowadays, what with Covid, climate change, the Russian-Ukrainian war, and all the other problems humanity is struggling with, it's horribly easy to get lost in the darker sides of humanity, and forget about the light. So let's not forget. Let's remind each other of all the beautiful, whimsical, goofy, adorable, sparkly, touching, hilarious, extraordinary parts of life.
Post random fun facts. Post cute pictures of your pets. Post artwork you've made. Post the fantabulous grade you got on that math test. Post what the sunset looked like last night. Post something, anything, that makes you smile.
So when we can't see the light for the darkness, we'll make our own. We'll set the shadows alight with moonlight and sunrises and candle flames and fireflies.
Together.

I can't tell from a that picture but that is either eastern or western scops owl (eastern is slightly larger with a different call). But I might wrong, there's a million different species of those guys!

Five good things that happened in the past few days:
1) I helped my mom make a cake! It was really fun, and I learned more about baking.
2) I used to dislike drawing because I thought I wasn't good at it. I kept practicing, though, and lately, I really like things I draw.
3) I just learned that dolphins name each other -- they assign each dolphin a specific sound!
4) A while ago, I started making a card game, and I recently got back into it. We'll see if I finish it :D
5) I finally named my CAPTCHA! Her name is Speckle. She says <itiby>. It is by? Who?

I went to see Les Miserables a few days ago and It. Was. Amazing. (I even got a keychain as a souvenir :D )

good things that happened to me recently- i'm in a music theatre company (for me it means tap on mondays, company rehearsal on tuesdays, and broadway jazz on thursdays) and we started this week and i was originally super nervous but it went well! last time i took tap i was late the the first class and always felt behind but this time i feel a lot more confident. and i have a group of friends in company with me who i can hang out with and stuff. oh, and one of the people on company is my kindergarten-first grade best friend's younger sister which is cool, so maybe i'll get to see him at the shows which is kinda cool :D
