The Longest Thread

The Longest Thread EVER!!!!

Let's make a mission to make the longest thread in CaC EVER! I think we just need to get more than 144 posts right now. We'll need lots of different themes to talk about to keep this thread from dying, but I think we can do it, right? I mean, that's why this is called the CHATTERbox, isn't it? :-)  Okay, then. Ready? Set?

GO!!!

P.S. Let's try to do CaC first, and if we accomplish our goal, we can do other sections, okay? Good. Now let's get chatting!!!

I've decided to tackle archery and fencing!

Just wanted to pop in and say hello! Wow, you all have been doing a whole lot of writing. Good job! I actually think this thread is the easiest to post on because you really just have to post anything, don't you agree? :-)

No, it's much easier for me to just state my opinion on a topic already chosen than start a conversation myself, hence the fact that I'm one of the most frequent posters on CB but almost never make threads. I don't think that's typical, though.

@Elizabeth M: I hope you enjoy archery. Have you ever seen a Japanese bow? I forgot what they are called , but to use them you hold it above your head and I think you use your pointer finger and your thumb to pull back the string. I don't see how they manage it.

On another random topic, does anyone here like shopping?

Where? For what? I love book shopping (except at malls), but I deplore clothes shopping and anything to do with malls (except buying books there). See, I don't mind buying books at malls, but I hate malls so much that I don't really like it, either.

Okay, I haven't posted in a while and I have to go to bed soon so I don't wanna read all the posts. So I'll just post what's on my mind. Urgh, I must sleep now >:| [Yawn] But I am tired. But, ah oh well. It's still reaching this threads goal :D

@Lizzy: Why do people always make stuff so complicated? That sounds crazy! Luckily, I just want to use a "normal" bow.

I like to shop for books, clothes and sometimes knickknacks. I can't stand food shopping. I can't stand clothes shopping if there are huge crowds. It makes me feel nervous and in danger. Book shopping is very calm! <3

I SAW THE HUNGER GAMES AT MY SCHOOL LIBRARY TODAY!!

Sorry, I was really excited until I found out they only had the third book.

I love reading about archery, but I'm horrible at experiencing it.

I know just what you mean about the huge crowds at malls; I don't feel afraid exactly, but it's just so... stuffy and crammed. And loud.

Any shopping really. Clothes, books, electronics.

@Elizabeth M: Yeah, I think it's going to be pretty hard to get any of THe Hunger Games books. The third book only came out last year. I have a request at the library that I have had for about two weeks and I still haven't gotten the book. And then my brother bought the audiobook on Audible without tellin me so I am going to download and listen to it like I did the other two.

@Ima-- Oh, yeah! The stuffy feeling is awful! It's also always hot and stuff.

@LIzzy-- Actually, I found them at my library but they were all checked out except for the second one. Seriously! I have bad luck! ;)

@Elizabeth M. and Ima: Yeah, I kind of jumped to conclusions, but yes, that is for chain pet stores.  :)

Where's Weißnichtwo and Planet Terra?

Oh, those are just the 2 things I sometimes put in my location box. Weissnichtwo comes from the name of a fictional city in a story I haven't read, but it's in some English dictionaries; it means an indefinite, uncertain, imaginary, or unfindable place, like Dreamland. I think you've said yourself that it literally means know-not-where in German. Terra means Earth.
