This is a place for us to state, debate and discuss politics! I encourage everyone to do so rationally and maturely, and would ask that all participants would refrain from abuse, even when in the heat of an argument, and that some of the more mature subjects would not be presented here. The Admins wll not publish any inappropriate comments.
However, I would discourage anyone from participating if they are easily offended, or dislike having their views challenged.
This may not be a popular idea, but I wanted to give people a chance to present their views and discuss the larger issues in our world today. I hope that this idea takes, and that it will also be enjoyable and informative! :)
I will begin by introducing a topic that is curently at large in America, but is also, I believe, appropriate for CB. I would ask the Admins to correct me if I am mistaken. :)
So-- what do you all think about the idea of including women in the military draft?

Yes, Global warming exist, but scientists are exaggerating once again. Earth has natural warming and cooling cycles. But right now scientists are claiming that the cycle is all messed up, and we should freak out. When my Oma was a girl my age, scientists were claiming that we would have another ice age very soon because the cooling cycle was all messed up.
Are we in an ice age? N. O.

But… But what about the hole in the ozone layer?
I read somewhere that global warming will prevent the next ice age, because it is so hot! But I disagree with both. If not global warming, how can you explain the snow in March? It shouldn't snow in March!

And why can it snow in March? It shouldn't!
And why do we have such heavy snow? Three feet… That's a lot!
And why did it literally not snow at all in some parts of America?
And why is there no blue sky in China? China is so polluted that people need to wear air masks to go outside, and the air is so dirty that it turned the sky grey?

I still can't believe that Kasich is still running. I mean, he only won Ohio, and got 2% in the NY election on Tuesday! I prefer Cruz. I really don't care how many Trump supporters there are. I think that Cruz will win in the long run, since Trump is always ranting on about something that could insult someone else!!!!

Actually, I just looked it up and read that Kasich got 25% of the NY Primary votes (and Cruz got 15%). The primary season has been pretty crazy so far. Who knows what's ahead?

Global warming is a real issue. Honestly, do you really think that scientists would make COMPUTER DRAWINGS of that stuff if it's fake? Just to fool us? NO. For your information, my dad is a scientist. You have no proof that the photos are fake. Until you can reliably prove that with solid evidence, I don't consider that a reason. And your thing about the ice age? Science has developed since then. And just because that was incorrect doesn't mean that everything scientists say about climate change is. If you believe this because of God, then I can't change your mind because it's belief. But science is proof, facts, and evidence. Science supports global warming.

I'm afraid that I will have to disagree with you on 2 and 3. I have no wish to insult religion but if God made it that way does that mean he is fully prepared to cause suffering and pain for his own enjoyment?

But did you know that there is no scientific consensus that global warming exists? And climate models have showed global warming wrong over and over again.
Climate has always changed, and it always will. The assumption that prior to the industrial revolution that earth had a "stable" climate is wrong.
You may claim "Global temperatures are rising rapidly! We all need to freak out!" No, they aren't. There is no catastrophic warning recorded.
So stop it. You can throw everything you've got at me, and I'll cut it down.
