New Sydneton (NS),
New Sydneton (NS), for those who don't know, is a very large city with only a few really big schools. All our characters go to one school (high school) there is large rich part with few houses (loads of trees and wide, clean streets etc.) and very poor part that’s not so clean. There is a large lake (good setting for things) and the city's known for having so much stuff and people from around the world! Also it has a rather small mall and grocery store, because most of the town is taken up by touristy stuff.
Add more to the city if you like, it’s a free world.

Nationality: Australia
Age: 15
Appearance: average high, long brown hair, small expressive eye brows and lips, large eyes, very thin, tan.
Characteristic:
Home: Good at school and with little kids, oldest out of seven children, does most of the work at home.
School: Sarcastic, rude to those below her in the pecking order, hangs out with only who she chooses, seems to like to tease

Kale~
"So, when is this genious brother of yours going to show up?" Eli says in her usual nasty voice. I don't understand how Kate and that new kid Ethan are actually friends with her. I mean, she's so... prickly. One word and she hates you.
"Give him some time." Brittany says, staring intently at her keyboard. "He's still gotta get in." Eli rolls her eyes and drums her fingers on the desk. "I wonder if Kate and Ethan are on their way up..." Brittany shrugged. Suddenly, she jumped up. "He's here!
A guy walked into the room. "Hey Brit," he says, ruffling Brittany's hair. He then turns to us. "What do you kids need me to do?" Eli points towards a camera. "There's a main one in here. We need you to find it and disable it." He nods and looks at a few camera's, then stops at one. "This is the one," he says, and starts to fiddle with it. In a matter of minutes, there's a tiny beep and the light flashes off.
Kate~
"So..." I say as we walk towards the room. This is officially akward. I've seen Ethan a few times, but we don't really know each other that well. He's more Eli's friend than mine. Besides, I have more important things on my mind than breaking the ice.
I wish my parents and I had cell phones so we could text each other. I want to know for sure if they're all right.
"What's wrong?" Ethan says suddenly. I realize that I've been staring into space. "Um... well, it's a pretty bloody long story," I say. Ethan shrugs. "You don't..."
I suddenly grab his sleeve and duck behind a door. The sound of high heels clicks down the hallway, along with the sound of heavy shoes. I signal for Ethan to be quiet and press my ear against the door.
"So what do you propose we do?" Rick's voice sounds annoyed. "I say we kill them and get it over with. They've caused enough trouble as it is!" Were they talking about my parents or... us?
"No," the principal says. "That's not the reason we're keeping them here. We need them. I think the Irish and British girl have something to do with this. Also the one from Maine." What on earth were they talking about?
"But those cameras were our sole source! We needed them to make sure those kids didn't get out!" He sounds angry now. "What do we do if they get out?"
The principal thought for a minute. "I'm going to pull that Irish girl into the office and tell her about her parents. We'll make a deal for us not to kill them if she stops causing trouble." Rick nods. "Good idea. But if they get out of hand..."
"Then you do what you like with them when we're done," she says. "Torture them, kill them, I don't care. But we need them for..."
The door closed on them, blocking out their voice, even when I tried to listen in. Ethan had gone sheet white. "What do we do?"
"We go back," I say, "and make a plan."

Ethan-
I gulped. "So," I ask Kate, "whoever these people are have found out that we aren't eejits?"
"That just about sums it up." She says, looking very scared.
"Then we have to do something to the cameras now, before they decide to do something worse." I say, thinking out loud. Kate agrees with me, and I turn the doorknob.
"It's locked," Kate says, but the door swings open with a loud squeak that freaks me out.
"Never overestimate Eli's short term memory." I go out the door and start walking at a fast pace to where Eli said to meet. It just so happens that when I'm walking past the door the creepy people went into, they open the door catch me. They grab me and I am shoved into their office.

Just an RP question, I am somewhat new to this art form. Is it often that people make characters and don't post as them? Because I can think of three characters that have not a post. I think we should have people other than in room 50, and the only person who isn't in that group is Heather. This is a suggestion to those who have created characters that are being unused. If you are posting as your character, don't pay attention to this side note.
Eli-
"How are you able to get these to not work?" I asked Matt, Brittany's older brother.
"Turn off the camera and reverse the battery. Those idiots won't notice," he tells me.
"How did you figure that out? It's the best way I've ever seen," Kale says, whom I think has never broken a camera in his life.
Matt starts explaining this long story of how he messed up his aunt's cell phone for April Fools Day, and Kale is listening wide eyed. I begin to head back to room 50, wondering what is taking Ethan and Kate so long. I'm coming round a hallway when a man pushes me against the wall and points a gun at me,
"Don't move or I fire," he says.

Kale~
"What the heck is taking them so long?" Brittany mumbled. We had been sitting here waiting for Kate and Ethan to show up for the past fifteen minutes. I had talked to Matt as much as I could about computers, and Eli had even walked out of the room. Now we were starting to get worried.
"Let's head back to room 50," Mela sighed. "They probably headed back there." We all nodded. Sirius started out, us following. Suddenly, we stopped in horror.
Outside the room, a man was dragging Eli down the hall, a gun pointed at her head. Her eyes met with us, and she mouthed, go get help! Then the man dragged her around a corner, and she was gone.
Kate~
I run as fast as I can towards where Eli and the others are. It still hasn't registered into my head that Ethan was just kidnapped. Feeling sweat pour off my face, I run as fast as I can, and suddenly feel a hand grab me.
"Get your bloody hands off me!" I scream. The man ignores my yelling and drags me towards the principal's office.
To my suprise, Eli and Ethan are in there with terrified looks on their faces. The principal is standing at her desk with an evil look on her face.
"All right you three," she says, glaring at us. "You're here because you have been causing way too much trouble lately." She turns to me. "Especially you, my dear. And I'm here to propose a deal."
"If you lay a hand on my family, I'll get out of here and tell the police everything you did," I growled. "Don't even try it." Eli gives me a warning look. But the principal only laughs. "Well well. What a temper," she sneers. "Now, I will say this one more time, loud and clear. You put one more foot out of line, and you will never see your family again." Eli gives me a terrified look. "Kate..."
I look Rick and the principal straight in the eyes. "What do you want with us?"
Gaahh! I can't think of any good reason that the school would lock a bunch of teenagers up and need them for something! Anyone got any ideas?

@ Gigi, I don't really know... maybe the teens are so smart, the bad people want to keep them and train them to work for them.
Or maybe the teens know something.
Or maybe these people are just evil.

We need to decide what happens next. I have thought of three and you guys have got to help decide. I wish my ideas were better...

I really think 'the teens might know something' is the best one, but maybe we can change that to 'the teens are likely to find out'. In stories, you know, teens are the ones who solve problems, while adults just sit there and accept it. This could be what they are building off of.
I'll post soon, but I am a little confused, so I'll have to read a few pages again...

I sort of like Tiffany's idea. I think that the principal and the man should be part of some evil _____ (not sure... maybe a group) and they think that the kids are very close to finding out a secret about the school that they've been hiding for years. And if someone finds out, they're plan to take over the world will be ruined. Maybe part of their plan can be something like Holmes said. Perhaps the people want to use the kids to take over the world like they want them to build and army or something.

Ooh, a secret about the school!
- It's being used to spy in different parts of the city by listening to kid's conversations and is actually a tool of the government.
- Children are being used to spread the word about _guy_ becoming president (unknowingly) (or possibly just some of them).
- It's being used to study teens' behavior.
- All the teachers are criminals in hiding.

I am sorry, I am taking all my ideas from semi popular book series!
-Rick and "the plastic woman" belong to an organization similar to the Midnight Sun in the Secret Series.
-The student's brains are desired by the Midnight Sun, because they have synesthesia or other things (basicly, a school of Benjamin Blakes.)
-The organization's goal is similar to Ledroptha Curtains, taking care of the use of all non-synesthetes or other unique people's brains.
