Riordan Universe RP

So this RP is going on Rick R's mythology novels. Your character can either live at Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter, or Brooklyn House, KC being in existence alongside PJ/HoO, or anywhere else in the Riordan worlds. They can be a god, demigod, magician, mortal, whoever. We'll decide what time era to set this in. My charrie:

Name: Lewis Darrylson

Home: Camp Half-Blood

Species: Demigod

Godly parent: Apollo

Appearance: Messy hair, naturally blonde, but he dyes it green. Skinny and athletic. Wears novelty T-shirts and cargo shorts.

Personality: Impulsive, but very bright. Is always very loyal to friends. Has a crush on another camper (I'll choose someone else's character as the target).

Pasttimes: Archery, basketball,  capture the flag, reading the Alex Rider books

Dominant hand: Left. Just like me...

@ Lena: That's great! I liked it! @ Legion I: That might work! It's up to everyone else. So I guess I'll go ahead and write.

Avril ~

I was really pleased that Chiron had permitted Emma to come on the quest. She was a good fighter, and was plenty ready. Besides, being a child of Hermes, she had hidden qualities. I knew she'd be quite helpful on the quest. And anyway, I was friends with Lewis and Renee, but she and I were particularly close, like sisters. Together we walked back to the Hermes cabin, and Emma started to pack.

"What's going on?" Lewis asked, leaning in the doorway.

"Chiron agreed we needed more half-bloods on this quest, and has allowed Emma to come along," I said, sitting up from my spot on my bed. He nodded like this was a good idea.

"You and Renee ready?" I asked. He shrugged, but I could relate. Really, who was ever ready for a life-threatening quest? Suddenly the conch horn sounded once more, this time from the dining pavilion. Lewis headed off to join the Apollo cabin.

"Hermes cabin, fall in!" I shouted. I led them up to the dining pavilion. Everyone stared as we entered, but I didn't pay much attention. Talking was minimal at the Hermes cabin, and I could hear low murmering with the mention of our names a lot at other tables. I wasn't much hungry, not from fear, but just general thoughtfulness.

---

That night I was plagued with nightmares. Most of them were scenes from war films I'd seen. Then I saw a face. It was fuzzy, and vague. I couldn't make them out distinctly. I couldn't even tell if it was male or female. But I knew it was the half-blood we were going to find.

Then I was immersed into darkness... Suddenly I was eleven years old again. My mom was slumped in the front seat just after she lost control of the car. There was blood across the seat in front of me. The front windshield was shattered. I could feel my own blood drizzling down my face. My left leg throbbed, and when I looked down at it, I instantly felt nauseous. I pulled myself from the car, into the pouring rain. Several people had pulled off the road, someone was calling 911. Someone ran up to me, pulling me away from the wreckage. I was screaming, then...

My eyes flew open. I was screaming. I started taking deep, shuddering breaths.

"You alright?" Emma whispered, sitting up, looking at me.

"Yeah," I whispered. "Fine, just a bad dream."

Umm I can't really write from my point of view (it's completely different and it'll confuse people)

But my idea is that in the opposite-lotus-hotel (from now on called sutol letoh, which is lotus hotel backwards) it's a camp that brings people back in time. There isn't exactly Greek or Roman or Egyptian, but they have all the gods/godesses except they are backwards, so Athena is anehta, and Hermes is Semreh. It's kind of like a camp too, they do train, but it's in a hotel setting. Instead of quests, you prove yourself by going out to the wild for a certain amount of time and surviving.

Just tell me if I should alter it or if it messes up your plans. (This is just a guideline to what I wiil write later when we all meet.)

Cappi said gono. Like a gong, but it makes an ohhhh sound?

@ Legion I: I like it! So, you're out on your quest thingie, and we come 'round and find you and you decided to join us in helping find the child of the big three, but only if it works with how long you're supposed to be out surviving, and stuff. Well, that's the way it's working out in my head, but if that's not exactly the way you thought about it, okay. I really want to know more about this new camp. But, without thinking too far ahead, I'm sorry, but no gears are turning for what I shall write presently. PLEASE, ANYONE, PLEASE POST!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, I was thinking that I want to change my character a bit. She's leader of the Etidorhpa cabin but her dad is related too (very distant though), from Anehta. Also I might use this paragraph later, but not in this one:

Naturally, the demigods at Camp Sega, short for Segavereline, built their own rooms. The camp was divided by twelve sections. Each cabin got its own space. These spaces could be used for housing, living spaces, whatever the camp leaders decided. At least, this is what I was told when i came. Supposedly, each section got a fair share of land, but really, each cabin had to fight for rights to it's own land. Section conquered another? They got the land and all the rights.

--------------------------------------------

I woke to the sound of the morning bell clanging in my ear. Ughh... I thought. I wanted to go back to sleep. Hanging out at the woods late at night hadn't helped my weariness. Slowly, I dragged myself up to view my room. Today is the day, I thought. My tseuq day had come.

"Two weeks," the camp leader promised me. And now I had to. Quietly, I took out my hiking backpack. I rummaged through. Map? check. Small blanket? check. Flashlight? check. And of course, my trusty weapon, a candlestick. I wish they would let  us have weapons.

"You can only get your weapon abfter your tseuq," they told me.

I swung my backpack over me. My empty canteen banged against the backpack, reminding me of the rules. My tseuq lasts two weeks. The number enlarged in my mind. Two weeks. Fourteen days. Three hundred thirty six hours. No water was allowed, or airsorbma, the food of the Gods. No weapons. No magic items. No phones or commuication devices. No money. Only normal camp clothes and hiking boots.

How am I going to survive this?, I thought

*groans and stamps foot on floor* Fine! I shall write next. We NEED to get this quest started.

Avril ~

We stood gathered at the top of Half-Blood Hill. Chiron stood with us to wish us well, as did a few members from each of our cabins. I'd appointed another head for Hermes cabin until I returned. The car stood waiting with Argus sitting at the wheel, waiting to take us into the city.

"Be safe," Chiron said quietly. We said our goodbyes, and trudged down to the car. I hesitated climbing in. I still didn't do well anywhere near cars. In fact, I hadn't been in one since that night.

"Avril?" Emma asked, standing behind me. I took a deep breath and climbed in. It felt odd to be sitting in the rear seat again, in almost the exact same position as before. Though this time, I sat between Lewis and Emma. I managed to keep my breathing somewhat steady, though this alone might be the hardest part of the whole quest. Argus pulled out, heading away from the Big House, the strawberry fields, and the countryside altogether. I looked back once at the Big House and Half Blood Hill. Chiron still stood at the top, his silhouette dark against the rising sun. I turned aroud, fighting down fear.

Okay, this might be a bit brief, but I don't really have alot of ideas.

Emma~

I couldn't believe it! A real quest! It toke me a long time to figure out that I was shivering in my seat with excitement. I looked at Avril. " Um, Avril, you alright?" She definitely didn't look so good. Lewis turned in his seat to look at Avril as well. Before he could say anything, though, Avril said, "I'm fine, guys, you don't have to get to worried about me, alright?" Then I remembered her hesitation about getting into the car. What was it about cars she didn't like? Argus finally stopped the car--in the middle of the woods. So, we were going to trudge around the woods in order to find a kid of the big three and bring him/her back to Camp Half-Blood when we don't even know wear we are? Not as exciting as I thought.

*********************************************************************************

Well, I put us it the middle of the woods and, well, I told you I didn't have many ideas.

Well since no one else is writing...

Avril ~

I breathed a sigh of relief as we stepped out of the car. Just from the short ride, my nerves were completely fried and my hands shook slightly. Then I saw where we were, and my attention was instantly drawn back to the mission.

"The woods?" I demanded, turning around in a circle to get a good look at our location. Argus simply nodded. He gave a wave, and drove back toward Camp Half-Blood. I felt a small twinge of sorrow and fear as I watched him leave, but it was short lived.

"What now?" Asked Lewi.

"Do we even know exactly where we're going?" asked Renee.

"West," I mumbled, rumaging in my bag. I pulled out a compass.

"That way," I said. We started forging onward.

At first, the quest was fairly uneventful. But when night fell, I noticed something was following us. I think we all felt it. Then a low, menacing growl echoed throughout the forest.

"What. Was. That?" Renee hissed as we all froze.
