Hi, guys! I've been wanting to be in an RP for a while, so I thought, "Why not start one?". So I want to do a fantasy RP. To join, just fill out the form I will use after I finish this beginning part. We will start after I think we have enough characters and a basic story line. Here's my character:
Name: Elizabeth Drandle (prefers Lizzie)
Apperance: Wavy, brown hair, blue eyes, medium height
Age: 12
Personality: Quirky, kind, funnny
Other: I don't have anything else, but you might.

Earane walked with the dog when she heard a noise.
"No....... a dragon. The orcs have procured a dragon."
Earane ran back, screaming a warning, as the beast reared its head.

Shadowsoul's eyes widened as the dragon came into view. The demons behind her started to cry out and screech in fear. She whirled around, facing all of them.
" Never scatter! You never abandon each other!" she whinnied angrily, then turned back around. Then, five orcs came into view along with the dragon. Shadowsoul looked at Simon once, before looking at the orc, who was now raising his weapon, screeching at the top of his lungs.
" Attack!"

Raven growled and charged at the orc doing her best to dodge his blows, she heard Lizzie screaming something, maybe "I cant fight!" and saw Shadowsoul to her left fighting. Too later she saw the dragons tail moving towards her. When she awoke they where seated around a fire nursing their injuries, "What happned?" Raven groaned.

Shadowsoul shook, her eyes still wide with shock, and fear. Fourteen demons were injured. They were regenerating at the moment.
" Last life," the demon dog nudged Shadowsoul.
" What?" she turned her large head and looked down at him.
" The Shadow Lord summons us. We might come back." Shadowsoul's eyes dilated even further as the demon dog took off with the others.

Simon roughly pulled Lizzie out of the way of the fray, hurrying back in another moment to fall against the tide of the army. Shadowsoul and her fellow demons were harrying the troops surrounding the dragon, while Elpama, Raven and I took on the flank of orcs nearest the trail where Earane had disappeared. We were a very small band, but we all fought valiantly, and we knew victory could be in our grasp if we kept our heads.
Then our luck turned.
The dragon broke away from the swarming demons and with a slash of its barbed tail, sent Raven flying in the air to crash into a tree. Elpama took a step back, readying her magic, but I stayed her hand. This was an ice dragon--I would have to deal with it. It was eyeing me oddly--it knew I was a Winter and that maybe it shouldn't have to fight me. I didn't hesitate. I sent a frigid blast of air straight at the dragon just as it opened its jaws to breathe frost over me. The air caught in its throat and I traced it all around his body so that it was entirely encased in ice. With a final thrust of my power, the dragon, encased in its shell of ice, it shattered in a thousand pieces.
To my right, Earane ran out on the path, following by the dog. "Keep Simon safe!" She was screaming. "Forget the orcs! Whatever you do, keep Simon safe!"
By instinct we all turned around to look for Simon. He was wasn't there. Amid his cries and the triumphant screeching of the retreating orcs, we stood there looking at each other in the shards of the broken dragon, knowing that we had failed. Our knight had been taken away to the enemy.

" Simon!" Shadowsoul whinnied, as she charged after him, the orc keeping a tight grip on him. Simon was thrashing violently, but the orc seemed to think that he was as harmless as a fly. Shadowsoul kept going, wondering how she was going to stop the orc. She called out multiple times, but it didn't work. Suddenly, it looked as if thousands of demons breezed past Shadowsoul. They attacked the orc, and Simon fell to the ground. Shadowsoul leaped over the mass of demons, which were now ripping the orc to pieces.
" Simon, are you alright?" Shadowsoul nudged him.
" You disobeyed me!" a voice bellowed out. Shadowsoul whirled around, and standing a few feet in front of her, was the Shadow Lord.

Earane reached the orcs at time, sending out a ray of Frost. The shadow lord! She collapsed as she drew near, fainting on the ground.

None of the demons but Shadowsoul were left when the Shadow Lord arrived. I felt bad for Shadowsoul, left to take the brunt of her actions' consequences without even a little moral support. But I was too busy helping to bandage up Simon, Elpama and Raven, all of whom were bleeding pretty badly. Earane was talking in low tones to Lizzie, calming her.
"They were really going to take me away," Simon muttered.
"Don't worry, you weren't," I replied, using what little healing powers I posessed.
"But they're going to come back, right?" He continued. I looked long at him, this boy who was supposed to be our knight, to save us all. He was not human, but he looked like one, and he was young, by any standards. There was fear and courage mixed in his eyes, and I couldn't help grieving for him.
"Yes," I said. "They will. And I don't know if we will have the help of the demons that time. We'll be on our own."

"Nesta."
Simon gasped as he was completely healed. Earane sat down and waved casually.
"What did you just say?"
"Twas elvish."
"Oh."
Simon sat up blearily. Artha looked a little jealous, and Earane smirked.
"We ought to move on."
"Yeah."
They packed up camp and started off. Thirty minutes in, they looked around.
"Where's Elpama?"
Elpama approached the shadow lord's throne.
"Elpama."
"My liege."
"You never showed interest in joining me before."
"Ah, but I have valuable information."
"Hmm..."
And Elpama told him everything.

Elpama and Simon where talking quietly; as they talked the whole party also stayed quiet and glanced at them from time to time out of the corner of their eyes. Every once in a while you would hear "but why?" or the such from the 2 of them. It continued for about half an hour and then Simon stood up gravely.

Wait but Elpama just went to the shadow lord!! Earane is the good one! Did you mean Earane? What?????

Shadowsoul glared at Elpama, while the Shadow Lord just looked at her.
" Is that all?" the Shadow lord asked. Elpama nodded. The shadow lord turned to Shadowsoul.
" Shadowsoul is one of my children. And the others are her friends. If she is to help them, then so be it. But she must pay a price," the Shadow lord walked over to Shadowsoul, and placed a hand on her large horse head.
" When you shift, you will command as much power as I ever had," the shadow lord said, as he placed a necklace with a moon charm and a star charm on it. He uttered a few words in a different language. He stepped back, and his red eyes started to turn golden. Shadowsoul started to glow, and she felt something in her starting to change.
" NO!" Shadowsoul whinnied, but a second later, it sounded like a human voice. The shadow lord fell to the ground, dead, as Shadowsoul transformed into a girl.

"Traitor!"
She ran into the shadow lord's dwelling and found a girl lying on the ground.
"Hullo. Up. Who're you?"
Elpama faded into shadow.

Shadowsoul groaned, her head spinning. She was on the ground, the dead Shadow Lord next to her. She picked up a hand to her head. Wait a minute.. A hand?! Shadowsoul's eyes widened, and she looked up at Earane.
" Earane," Shadowsoul whispered. Earane raised an eyebrow.
" It's me. Shadowsoul." She stood up, a little shaky.
" It can't be!" Earane gasped.
" It is. The shadow lord turned me into a girl, so that I could fight with the rest of you. He put his power into me," Shadowsoul responded. They suddenly heard a scream outside.
" C'mon!"

The spider sunk its venemous fangs into her leg. She tried stabbing it with her bronze dagger in the eye, then she rolled away as Earne and another girl ran out of the cave brandishing their weapons. They spotted the Spider crawling away into the brush Earne made quick work of it. "To bad we can't eat these," she said, inspecting its dead body.
"I see we have a new companion," said Lizzie.
"Er... I'll let Shadowsoul explain," responded Earne.
