MERMAID/MERMAN RP
Thought I'd make one! So the types are Diamrem (people who can turn into mermaids at will), Cursed (humans who have been turned into mermaids), Mermaids, and Humans.
Elements are water, earth, fire, and air. Water has water, ice, mist and snow,Earth has rocks, sand, precious stones, and metal,Fire has fire and lightning, and Air is just air (but you can fly!)
Here is the form, we can work out a plot later.

Element she/he can control (water, fire, earth, or air): Water
Appearance: Dirty blond hair, sea green eyes, pale skin.
Personality: Smart, uses medieval style, very good grammar, a bit bossy
Other: Is powerful and tries to help Cursed people.

I tried to keep up with Thyst, but I just couldn't. I let myself fall behind. I managed to push myself to the surface. A little, rocky island was about a meter away. I dragged myself over and turned into a human, trying to push away the backness at the edges of my vision . The water rose and pulled me away. I turned into a human and fought to stay on the surface, but I felt myself, falling, falling, falling, through blackness.

I woke up , on a beach, near Megon's. I turn into a human and try to get over to her cottage.
Megon is a doctor 's daughter. She'll heal me if I give her . . . it. Dad's last present, a secret like nothing else.
I see her on the balcony, frozen in shock . I say, " Me. . . Megon . It's m... me, E. . . eh-Etta . " I cough.

" oh my god it's Etta!" I mutter, I jump off the balcony and rush towards Etta. I pick her up and bring her into the living room. " Mom!!!" I yell. She rushes into the room and stares for a few heartbeats the rushes into a cabnet. She grabs some ace bandages, stitches stuff, a few ice packs, and I jat of leaves." Lay her on the couch!" She shouts and I do. Mom lays a nice pack on Etta's forehead. She has a huge gash on her leg. My mom stitches it up " it will scar." Mom says and Etta nods wearily. My mom lays an ice pack on the stitches and wraps it in an ace bandage. Mom hands Etta a few leaves to eat for the pain. " get her the cot. " mom instructs. I do so and she lays down. Mom puts a cotton blanket on Etta. Shelays her head on the soft pillow and slowly drifts aleep. Marvel runs down the steps and lays on her.
*hour later*
i jerk Etta awake from a bad dream " how did yo- ?" She asks " twitching." I say she nods. " Etta, I have ment to talk to you.... Are you out on the myth day hunt? The prize for proving the myth is a million dollies. Could give you everything you want you know." I say serioly

I fall asleep and dream a horrible dream, one I have had way too much : The Drowning. It's bad enough it happened : it doesn't need to happen again every time I fall asleep. Megon shakes me awake. She looks at me, concerned, and I know she knows I had a bad dream. " How did yo- " I begin. She cuts me off, saying, simply, " Twitching . " I nod. " Etta, I have meant to talk to you.... Are you out on the myth day hunt? The prize for proving the myth is a million dollars. Could give you everything you want you know . . . " she hints .
I don't know what to do. Does she still want me to help her capture mermaids ? Hmm . . . sirens are in the mermaid family, right ?
" Look, I don't want to help you with the mermaids, they're slippery, I've tried before I . . . um, found out, but the sirens are easier. You just turn into a mermaid, and cross the line between mermaid and siren territory, then they'll get really mad, and if you had a backup ship, waiting with a net, you could pottentionaly capture and show them, therefore winning the contest. "
She nodds. " So, will you help me ? "
I consider the question. She won't nessasarily win : sirens are slippery, too, after all, but still, I can tell that, no matter how sloppy in her strategy she may be, she's still a rather formidable enemy. Plus, this way, I can take a stab at the sirens, and possibly get money, while turning foe to friend. Hitting three birds with one stone. Sounds pretty good.

I moan and try to reach Megon's house. Soon I collapse on her porch. Megon must have heard the bang, as she came out. I smiled weakly. "Please help." My leg was bleedly badly. So badly.

i grin. I raise my hand and flame engulfs it. "Deal?" I ask " deal." She says as the blue flame spins around our hands and seals the deal. I laugh and give her a vail labeled " emergency" she drinks it and all her hurts are gone. She gasps " how did you? The flame! Are you who I think you are?" She gasps. I am endeed who she thinks I am. I am jess.I am the one who has been dwelling on her forever. I don't tell her. Why would I? I raise my hand and it skips to day. She looks confused, I snap my fingers and my stuff appears. We walk out to the beach and dive in. My legs fold together and my gills apperar. We swim into siren territory. We hear a tell and a siren comes for us. I capture it in a net and drag it to shore. I smirk " almost near the time. Ohh Etta you nightmare is near!" I mutter mutter we get to town square. " mr Maror!! We have our mermaid!" Etta yells . With the bag slightly levitating behind me the Maror steps out and con graduates us. " here is your prize." He hands Etta the money. " you keep it." I say she thanks me and runs off. Typical. I turn into my true form. A triangle. ( sorry with the gravity falls !! I am obsessed!!) I fly off in the dream scape following Etta. The Maror dissaperas. Bill apperars and so does chelias . The evil octopus mermaid humanoid. " you have done well." Bill congratulates. I turn back into megon and run off towards my "house" .

I'm sorry, but I can't allow this. I have watched some (a tiny bit) gravity falls and it's funny, but not everyone has and I'm REALLY SORRY!
Thyst followed Megon as they walked to the myth fair. She saw Etta get the money and smiled.
Good for her.
Suddenly the sky went black.
That's not good!

Anger kept flaring within Aquaria, as she paced around in her room.
Dead, dead, dead, Calico's dead. Aquaria suddenly screamed, like she had done the other six times, grabbed the nearest thing, and broke it. Multiple times the water had gotten dark, as if the sky kept filling up with black clouds. Aquarius and Kind Calder burst into the room.
" Aquaria, what's wrong?" Aquarius asked, his crystal blue eyes wide.
" Calico's dead!" Aquaria screamed, tears falling from her eyes. Aquarius took a sharp intake of breath, as if he had just become shocked. King Calder's eyes went wide.
" It was the siren! She killed Calico," Aquaria explained, while throwing her arms around her brother, hugging him tightly, as if he was the only thing that she could keep herself afloat in a raging ocean. Aquaria's demeanor suddenly changed. Her tone changed to ice, her face void of any expression except for rage, anger, and hatred.
" But I killed it. I killed the siren," Aquaria spat out, saying siren as if it were a disease.
" Aquaria?" her brother asked her softly, his eyes glimmering with worry.
" I'm going to kill every last one of them!" Aquaria screamed shoving herself out of her brother's arms, swimming over them, and dashing out of the room.
" Aquaria, wait!" King Calder yelled, but the command wasn't heard, or most likely was ignored.
" Go after her Aquarius. I fear that she has become blinded by hatred. First her mother, now a mermaid who posed as her mother when there were none. Go after her. But beware of the sky above. Lightning could strike any moment."

I look up astonished. The sky went dark. I did not know why but something was going on. I ran towards my house and froze. "What to do?" I asked myself. I hear Etta come behind me. "Let's go." She looks astonished that I want to go to see king Calder but what the heck. We dove into the water swimming towards the castle. We swam into the throne room. The kings eyes widened and a guard comes ready to throw the water spear. "Hold you weapons!" Etta yells. " I mean no harm. I am a mermaid hunter, just as Etta is and I only want to help. I know a solution. If you where willing to hear it. I also wish to speak to the princess," I say with a kind smile. The king smiles and orders a strong mermaid guard to supervise me. He leads me to the princess's room. As the doors open, she flips around and is ready for a battle. I observe the princess. Was she crying? I think. "Hello. I wish to speak to you," I say with a smile

We swim into the halls of the turquoise castle. We swim into a secret room and a siren is trapped in chains. "Prove your self," the princess says as she lets the siren out of the chains.

I officially am going to stop posting on this thread. I don't really know why, but I dunno what to have Etta do next and to tell you the truth, I just really have lost the inspiration. ANy one who wishes to can post as Etta.
