Strange new type
Strange new type of rp!
This is a rp where we start with a genre (fantasy) but with no specific setting, and we start immediately after our charries are made.
Name: Nenyala Tuma
Personality: Wise, cold, smart, calm.
Appearance: Dark blonde hair, milky white eyes.
Other: Is blind, is a healer and water elementalist.
Nenyala-
I start up as I hear someone enter my cottage. Probably a thief. I may be blind, but I'm not deaf.
"Who's there?" I hiss.

Menaya~
Gretta and I hear a lightening back at the house, and we run back. Gretta looked like she saw a ghost, her eyes wide. I wonder what she saw.
Back at the house, there is commotion everywhere. Nenyala is fighting someone made out of lightening, and the others help.
"Wait! STOP!" I yell at the others, trying to make the lightening girl win. Nenyala gets confused slightly, enough for Lightening to electify Nenyala. Nenyala falls down, twitching.
"We will finally claim victory!" and then Lightning disappears.
Everyone runs toward Nenyala, except me. I should feel victorious, but instead I am slightly hollow.
"Menaya! Help!" Gretta urges me. I shake my head, too nervous.
"She is on the brink of death, but she'll survive." Furbin finally says. I don't know how to feel. It's all so confusing.
"Menaya... You..." Nenyala starts. Everyone looks at me. "You are a traitor..."
"Menaya! Why... You have been against us all along!" Saphina yells in anger.
"I thought we would be friends..." Furbin whispers. But no one hears him. Everyone is yelling at me, screaming at me.
"STOP!" Nenyala suddenly commands. "We will let her go, but never to see us again." Nenyala's eyes narrowed.
"Go, Menaya, you fool. Never mess with the elements." I blink at them. But I lift up my chin, feeling surprised at my dark moves.
"Fine, you fools. I will win sooner or later." I snarl in a voice that I don't know. "We will win." And then I walk away.
I don't know what to say.
I'm the traitor. The traitor in the vision.
I'm the one you can't trust.

I sleep in the forest, waiting for the dreams.
"Is anyone here?" I call out.
"Menaya, my dear, welcome back." The fire girl welcomes. "You did a great job."
"T-thank y-y-ou." I whisper.
"I sense guilt. Do not be sad, my darling, you did good..." She smiled, a smile that seemed cruel. "...But I have to tell... A little secret."
"What?" I ask.
"Well... I lied. Us, the elemental quartet, are trying to gain power and rule... And you, my dear, are just a pawn tricked into serving us. You could have helped them, and destroyed us. But I sepreated you from the others... Now... We can rule. We can rule everything... And Nenyala can't stop us.." The fire girl laughs. "Oh, and also, we will trap you. Trap you so you can't escape. It may even bait the others... And lead them to their doom."
"No... Nononono...." I fall down. "Please.... It must be a dream."
"It is, my dear. But dreams are all real to you, Menaya. Your curse was never a gift."

Star Ruby~
Leila and I race towards the unsteady wooden house just in time to see lightning split the air. Gretta stumbles past us.
"What's going on?" Leila asks, snatching at Gretta's shirt in panic.
"It's-It's Nenyala!" She squeaks fearfully. She is really pale and I wonder if she is hiding something.
"Is she... ?" My lips tremble.
"I-I think she's fine," Gretta hurries back into the cabin. Leila and I glance at each other, and duck under the low doorway. Everyone is gathered around the still Nenyala.
"She is on the brink of death, but she'll survive," Furbin breaks the silence.
"Menaya... You..." Nenyala shudders on the floor, her words are pianed, "You are a traitor..."
"Menaya! Why... You have been against us all along!" Saphina yells, angry.
"I thought we would be friends..." Furbin whispers.
"STOP!" Nenyala slowly rises to her feet, "We will let her go, but never to see us again." I hear a few gasps.
"Go, Menaya, you fool. Never mess with the elements," Nenyala continues, gaining strength.
"Fine, you fools. I will win sooner or later," Menaya's voice rises "We will win!" She turns on her heal and stalks out the door.
There is a terrible stillness. Saphina gasps, clutching her throat and coughing.
"Saphina!" Someone yells as she slowly begins to fall to the floor. I am frozen in place.

I grabbed Leila and Star back, gently but firmly.
"Gretta and Menaya are out there!" They cried, struggling against me.
"No!" I said.
They looked surprised.
"I will go," I tell them, "it is almost twilight. Go to your rooms. I will go help them."
I run outside, cloak billowing in the wind, dripping with sweat. I run to the clearing, and...
Lightning, Flaimme, and Menaya are facing me. Gretta has realized what they're going to do and is pleading for them to stop. She acts like she's about to bend lightning away from me, but flaimme moves quickly and blindfolds her, tying her arms and legs.
"Why are you doing this, Menaya?" I ask.
"You're evil!" she cries.
"Fine," I say, "kill me, then."
Lightning laughs and strikes.
At the hut
It seems like I've been stumbling and crawling for days.
I am charred and burned. There is a gaping wound on my stomach.
One of the girls runs out yelling for the others. They come to my side and drag me in.
"Who did this?" asks Furbin, boiling with fury, "LIGHTNING?"
"M-Menaya... betrayed me. Us."
There is a sharp gasp. Someone whispers "I knew it."
The door creaks open. Gretta stumbles in, sobbing, and Menaya stands triumphant.
"I saved you all," she says, "Nenya is evil. We can't let her control us. She was the traitor."
"Don't you see?" asks Leila, bristling, "you were the traitor, Menaya! Get out!"
"Get out!" cries Saphina, stamping her usually quiet foot.
"Why?" asks Star Ruby, tears in her eyes, holding Gretta.
A wolf suddenly stands in the place of Furbin. "Go... away... TRAITOR!"

[I was thinking: Can we pull an Anakin Skywalker with Menaya?]
Then fire ran over the ground, and materialized over Menaya in the form of a woman.
Flaimme.
Lightning struck nearby, and materialized.
Lightning.
Water flowed over the ground and rose in the form of a woman.
River.
The earth itself created the form of a woman, which then crystallized.
Crystal.
"You did well, darling..." Flaimme crooned.
"River!" Nenyala cried. "Why did you do this? You were my sister!"
River hissed. "The Elemental Quartet are my sisters now, Nenyala!"
"Wait. Question." That was Furbin. "How come you're made out of... stuff?"
"Long ago," Lightning purred, "We were simple, flesh-and-blood creatures. Then Master found us. He saw our talent. He told us that there was a test. If we passed, we would be much more powerful. If we failed, we would die.
"We, of course, agreed immediately. The test was a prolonged stay in our element.
"We survived, of course. Or, our souls did. They manifested into our element and we became much more powerful. We haven't aged since."

Seeing Furbin change shape for the first time was disconcerting, but nearly as much as the fact Menaya was the traitor. We had all just started to trust one another too. Menaya looked confused "But, I, didn't mean to be the traitor." she said and walked slowly away. Everyone released a long held breathe and Furbin changed back into a human. Star Ruby looked pale and sat down, the rest of us turned to Nenyala. She grimaced "These injuries are bad,you may have to gn on without me in the body, but I can talk to each of you through your mind's and guide you along the way." Greta says " But if we just made a stretcher..."
"No young one, time is of the esscense and I would slow you down, hasten to the city of thrives, there you will find the entrance to where my sister resides."
This was a big plot twist so if you don't like it, it can change.

I'm confused. Brookeira, Forrest and I all posted plot twists at the end of our posts, and they all don't have much to do with each other. How should we sort this out?

" So you, too? You betrayed us too?" I question Tuma. " But the crystal ball said that there was only one..."
" Child-"
"Don't call me that!"
"I did not betray you. Rather, my sister has!" She glares fiercely at River.
" Ok, fine," I humph. I walk over to the cell door. The door of the cell which the Elemental Quartet kindly placed us in. Menaya has a seperate cell. We do not know where.
"Look," Says Leila. "We need to get out of here."
" And why is that?" Grumpy me.
" I just-just-just-"
"Just what?" Snappy me.
"Iwannagohome!" she blubbers. She burts into tears. Nenyala puts a hand out and pats Leila's back uneasily.
"It'll all be Ok," she reasures Leila. She is also trying to reasure us, I am sure. " Leila is right. We do need to escape."
"But how?" Doubtful me.
" I have a plan." Nenyala smiles.

I am really confused. I thought we met up, Nenyala's cottage was destroyed by the elemental quartet, so we found an old house to stay in. Nenyala gets struck by Lightning, and Menaya is revealed as a traiter. We all send Menaya away, Leila and I start to become friends, and then Saphina starts choking or something.... Can someone please explain to me where I messed up?

So Nenyala and Co. think we've imprisoned Menaya? Ha.
"Menaya dearest, your future telling powers are... valuable. Perhaps you would like to join Master? You could be his prophet."
"Yes!" Menaya cries.
"Come then. Let us go to the Void Realm and meet with Master," Lightning says, opening a portal. We step in.
"Master," all five of us croon, kneeling.
"Ah, my Quartet. But who is this... extra?"
"Master, this is Menaya. She is powerful in telling what will lie before. We think she could be your prophet," I tell him.

Star Ruby~
I do not even remember being imprisoned. Everything happened like it was in a dream, and now all of us are here, except Menaya. Saphina snaps at Leila and she begins to cry. We are all tired and irratable. I crawl over to Leila and squeeze her hand. Leila looks at my hand and wipes her tears.
"I'm sorry I..." Leila turns her head away, but she doesn't let go of my hand. In between her sobs I had heard "Iwannagohome!" Which somehow makes me feel worse. Saphina rises to her feet and looks around, taking a deep breath.
"We are obviously in a tech-castle (fantasy word which means exactly what it sounds like), and we need to get out. We have to stop the elemental quartet!" A few of us gasp in shock. Saphina sounds like she is used to ordering people around.
"Okay, we need to review what we have," Gretta stands my Saphina.
"Yes, and our escape routes," Leila says, pulling me to my feet.
"How can you use your powers to get out of here?" I ask, not used to this.
"We!" Leila whispers in my ear, "We, not you!"
"I don't have powers!" I whisper back.
"Yes you do!" Leila replies fiercly.
"And, and..." Furbin speaks up uncertianly, then gaining strength he says, "And rescue Menaya."
"She does not need rescueing! She is a traitor!" Nenyala cries, pacing the prison.
"Okay! Okay! We need a plan," Gretta looks back and forth at Nenyala and Saphina. An invisible fight for leadership takes place.
"Here's the plan," Saphina says, traces of grumpiness still on her face...

Awww, yes yes, Menaya evil now! This is turning out as a good ol' plot twist!
Furbin~
I look at all of them.
"Wait!" They look at me.
"What, Furbin?" Saphina snaps.
"Why can't we help Menaya? There must be a reason she is acting like this..." I look down, uncertain. "She was never evil... There must be a-!"
"Face it, Wolf-kid. She's a traitor," Saphina growls. I look down, my face growing red.
"Now, as I was saying..." Saphina bends real low.
(Over! Come over 'ere!)
Menaya~
It seems like I'm walking a dream. I said yes.... But I'll survive.
They can't win without them all together.... they will lose without me... WE WILL WIN.
I chuckle in my breath.
nonononon Menaya, what are you doing?
Shut up.
Menaya, this isn't you.
Shut up, brain. You can't control me.
Menaya...
No. I can do what I want, thoughts. Don't control me.
Maybe it was meant to end this way... Me... Evil... Me.... Winning.
I laugh, more louder this time. Louder, louder, a booming thing.
This isn't me, but ohhhh how I like it.
"Menaya... Come closer..." My new master whispers. I stride up, my head high. whatamIdoingwhatamIdoing.
"You will help us..." He lifts his hand toward me. I come closer.
"Now...." His hand touches my forehead. "Your soul is MINE!"

So, now Menaya can't changfe her mind, she is bound to Master. Unless Master dies.... She will RULE WITH EVIL!! HAHAHA!
(You don't know how MUCH I'm loving this. Nice idea with the Anakin trick, Somebody!)

"We have to escape at the only time there are no guards. No distractions. Distractiongs make it obvious that we are escaping. There are no guards when the quartet are taking turns showering."
Everybody stares.
" How did you come up with that?" Asks Furbin.
" I can do a simple thing like planning!"
" I knew that."
" Hold on," I say. " We don't have an escape route."
" Yes we do!" says Tuma. We all face her.

Star Ruby looks frightened "But," she asks "What can I do?" I look at her. "Let's get this straightened out," I say, "you have powers! I can... Tell things about people that they don't even know yet, someday you will be the most powerfull one here besides Tuma." Her eyes widen. "How?" she whispered. I answer, "All I know is this feeling of oncoming power when I look at you, more than with anyone else." She shivers. "But I can't use this power, I don't even know what it is?" "Try and explore your mind and find magic, until then you can fight the old fashioned way with sticks and stones." She smiles slightly and follows me as we join the others getting ready to escape.
