Strange new type

Strange new type of rp!

This is a rp where we start with a genre (fantasy) but with no specific setting, and we start immediately after our charries are made.

Name: Nenyala Tuma

Personality: Wise, cold, smart, calm.

Appearance: Dark blonde hair, milky white eyes.

Other: Is blind, is a healer and water elementalist.

Nenyala-

I start up as I hear someone enter my cottage. Probably a thief. I may be blind, but I'm not deaf.

"Who's there?" I hiss.

Star Ruby~

Leila has such confidence in me. I try to focus, but nothing happens.

"There is a weakness, right here," Nenyala cries, pointing to a spot in the wall. "If we can break through, this will lead us into the main hallway."

"Really?" Saphina asks sceptically. Nenyala glares at her.

"Here is the plan: we break through the wall, then Gretta and Furbin will go out first. Gretta will attract the guards' attention with her voice, and Furbin will attack as a wolf while they are occupied. Then..." Nenyala is interrupted by Gretta.

"How do we break through the wall?"

"Do any of you have powers that might help?" Leila asks.

"What about you? You haven't told us your power," I point out.

After I posted my comment, I realized I had misread Rainbow's. I'm sorry about that, Rainbow. I thought it said something different. If you want, you guys can change my comment.

Can I please make a bad  guy charrie? If not, its okay, if so...

Name: Kaster Cliff

Personality: Evil!!! Shy,strong,serene.

Appearance:Sloppy blonde hair,gray eyes

Other:Controls the winds, 17 years old, Star Ruby's cousin.

Kaster~

I know their plans. They are all fools, except one. They cannot escape the tech-castle, and I will have to kill them. It is my duty, which I willingly enjoy. There is only one which I will spare...

My thoughts come haltingly as my feet slap agaisnt the stone floor. I unscheath my Klitetz (A curved sword made from pure diamond) and stand at the door, listening. One voice asks someone about powers.... the voice is familier, and I know it is my cousin. Another voice answers in a mumble (This is Leila's answer): "I inherited some powers from my mother." I will kill her. The thought gives me a shudder of enjoyment. The band is weary, and no match for my powers. I unlock the complicated locks and chains of the door, and step in confidently. This will be easy! I long to slay them. A girl with blonde curls (Gretta) steps questioningly forward. She seems to be the only one not lost in useless planning. Suddenly everyone else in the room is aware I have unbolted the door. One of them, a girl in combat boots (Saphina) rises to fight me. She is powerless, but strong and agile.

"Are you friend or foe?" The blonde girl asks. I laugh menacingly and the sword swirls in my hands. it flies to the shoulder of the dark-haired girl (Again Saphina), and rests coldly against her neck. Blood trickles from the chink in her shoulder.

"Now make your guess," I laugh again. My eyes rest upon the girl who I will not slay, her caramal eyes are squeezed shut and she concentrates. Fool though you may be, you have pontental, and it is my job to drag it from you.

A wall of force slams into me. The lady (Nenyala) in the corner rises, her hands upraised.

Competition; a challenge. Excellent, but you will be defeated. I think.

Saphina~

Now I'm the one bleeding. I will die. I know it.

"Leave the others," I whisper to the figure standing with their sword at my neck. "Leave them. Kill me, just leave them." I turn to Nenyala. "Say goodbye to my Mother."

"Heal," I whisper. Saphina's wound closes temporarily; it should last a few hours. The boy launches a gust of wind that hits my face before I have time to react.

"Oh," I hiss, eyes flashing crimson, "you should not have done that."

I'm by his side in the split second it takes him to blink, hands wrapped around his throat. He unsheathes his sword and I knock it out of his hand with telekinesis. Furbin picks it up.

"Hush, little child, don't say a word," I tell him as he gasps furiously, trying to hit me with wind but only succeeding in slapping himself.

"I am no child!" he snarls, kicking.

"Seventeen. A mortal," I say, "I am hundreds of years old, KASTER. You may have underestimated me."

We slip out the door and I thrust him into the cage, locking the door behind us.

"Thanks for the help," Saphina says to him as we run off.

We're not suppose to make another character... (And seriously, the rp is way too far that I don't actually want one.)

*whining* HEEEYYYY! I'M THE BAD GUY!!!

Okay, just kidding. We BOTH serve Master, though.

And Flaimme takes a trip through a freshly built bonfire instead of showering.

And Brookeira, I kind of think of your charrie as an old lady :P

Lightning~

I sense a familiar prescence in the tech-castle. Kaster, I think. What are you doing here?

Then River oozes out of my shower. "The water tells me," she says in her burbling, rushing voice, "that Nenyala and Co. are escaping!"

"Forget the showers! Nenyala and Co. are escaping!" I yell.

Crystal opens a hole on the wall that we go through. I'm at the cage first. I hiss. Then I see Kaster. "Hello, Caster," I say.

"Lightning!" Kaster cries. "I can kill them myself!" Then the rest of the Quartet and Menaya come.

But the girl Gretta starts singing.

Oh, goodness. That is some pretty singing. Kaster and Menaya go into a trance. But we don't.

"Your charm song does not work on us!" I cry. "I have a heart of lightning, faster, stronger, without the WEAKNESSES of a human heart!"

"I have a heart of stone," Crystal says.

"I have a heart of fire," Flaimme clarifies.

"And I, of water," River burbles.

I fire lightning at the charmsinger. But... no way...

She deflects it. I hiss in annoyance. Crystal, however, steps up and traps the girl in a soundproof prison of stone.

FREE-FOR-ALL!

River leaps at Nenyala, I to Furbin, Flaimme to Saphina, Crystal starts crushing, Menaya at Leila, and Kaster at pretty much everyone.

Saphina~

Oh, oh! No, not fire! Please, not flames. Not me! I draw a dagger from my side and slash through Flaimme, but all the metal does is melt. My dagger! My only weapon!

Flaimme cackles maniacly. " Yes, a heart of flame has its many upsides."

"A human heart can feel!" What a sappy line. I was just trying to trump my greatest fear. I know that that will never happen.

Flaimme marches foward, backing me into a corner. She points her flaiming hand towards me, but I feint right and roll left, and am out of her grip. I give her my hardest karate kick to the behind, and then I rush off to help Nenyala, who is battaling with River. Hey, maybe fears can be overcome. But still, Mother...How can I forget?

As I reach Nenyala and River, I hear talking.

"...Will never be my sister like this!"

"Dear, if you joined the Elemental Quartet, you would be my sister, and you would have power, money... everything you have ever wanted."

" Maybe that is what you want, River, dear, but I have different aims."

"And what are those?"

"I want you to join us. A life of peace would not be without bloodshed, I assure you. You would be fighting your untrue sisters, the elemental threesome."

"Nope, sorry, not happening." I hear the clang of swords. My sword is lost. I can't help now. Wait, yes I can! I've forgotten about my rapier! I draw it and rush to Nenyala's side. Maybe I won't call her Tuma anymore, but Nenyala, as a friend would.

I feel a sickly crack as one of my ribs breaks. River is strong, and she's fast. I'm barely able to dodge her attacks, even though I'm very agile and an elf.

I see Gretta being suffocated, the others being beaten back. Menaya's eyes gleam with triumph as she sends kick after kick at the badly injured Furbin.

"Menaya," I rasp, "is this what you want?"

She slows and looks around, the triumph on her face being replaced by something like fear.

"I gave you no reason to doubt me, and yet you trust a random stranger made of fire?"

"You're evil," she says weakly.

"Why do you think that?" I ask.

"Flaimme told me..." she breaks off.

I stand up, shaking.

"ENOUGH!" I yell, throwing them all back with a shockwave that could've killed a mortal.

Furbin jumps up, wounds already healing. I hear a high note that only an angel could hit, and Grettl's cage vibrates and shatters. I temporarily heal the others and do something that I still feel bad about.

I turn to River and say, "I'm sorry."

Once, every two hundred years, I can make water into unmeltable, unbreakable ice. I lift my hand and begin to freeze River.

River laughs. "Flaimme will melt me, pathetic sister."

"This is Arnil Ice," I tell her solemnly.

"NO...NO!" she yells, trying to move, but her entire lower body is frozen. She lunges for me and screams, but her freezing is complete.

She's dead.

Menaya~

I stop, my eyes like fire, my breath turning into short puffs. They won't win. Unless I join them. I fight Furbin, taking the pause to my advantage.

"Why... Menaya... I thought..." I look at Furbin. and in his eyes... Tears... "Please, we could be friends..." I look away.

"I can't... At least, not anymore." My eyes gleam with hatred.. for, For I don't know. Everyone... "I'm connected to Master..." I look at River. River.... Iced, frozen... Who am I?

Am I a traitor, joining any side that helps me?

Am I... No one? Why can't I be good?

My village was right... I am a villian. I am no one... I can't help... I'm the traitor of everyone. I fall onto the ground, coughing.

"You're right, Nenyala... But I can't stop now..." I lift my weapon, glaring at Nenyala. "I'm not good. I was never good. You. Will. Meet you death..." I lower it fast to Nenyala.

"NNOOOOOOO!!!"

Furbin~

I call out, jumping on Menaya and turning into a wolf.

"You will not hurt Nenyala!" I snarl, fighting her. She narrows her eyes and stabs me in the shoulder. Suddenly Menaya's eyes open.

"I am causing to much harm... Can't I be good for once?" Menaya whispers. She raises her sword, and points it toward herself.

"Menaya... No... PLEASE NO!" She stabs her heart, my hand reaching toward her.

"Nononononono Menaya Menaya..." I cry out, shaking her. It seems like the world is frozen.

"Please you're not dead... You can't die..." I look at Menaya. Her eyes look at me, blinking once.

"At least I won't cause any harm to anyone... I did good..." Her eyes... Dead, a cold frozen look. I turn back to human, unable to hold my wolf form.

"MENAYA!" I howl.

Star Ruby~ When the boy with the sword comes in, I sensed something, the same something I was trying to stay away from: My past. Now, I watch the others in battle. I cannot do anything, and they told me to stay put. Nenyala freezes River, and the fight goes on. The blonde-headed evil boy throws Leila aside and strides towards me.

"LEILA!" I scream. She doesn't move. I'm leaning against the wall, breathing hard. NO! NO! NO! The boy advances, then stops an inch from my face.

"Star Ruby, I will not kill you," he lowers his sword and continues, practically yelling over the noise of the battle. "I am Kaster Cliff, your cousin."

"You may be, but you tried to kill my friends! You are EVIL!" I kick him in the shins hard. Kaster says nothing.

"I thought you had pontential, I was wrong." He lifts his sword again, the daimonds gleaming.

"Kill me then!" I shreik.

"No, first, I will kill your friend," Kaster replies. He bends down by Leila, gripping her firmly. The sword is sharper than anything else in the world, and he runs it across her chest lightly, drawing a fine line of blood. Something in the blood makes me burn. I may not have much, but I will fight for what I do have.

"NOOOO!" My scream echoes across the whole world, it seems. The tech-castle rumbles, I can feel the sky splitting apart; a star is falling. I feel its heat and magical powers falling... falling. And then the impact. The star hits the earth, shooting out tremors in every direction. The tech-castle crumbles as the star hits the ground. I grab Leila's limp hand, and Kaster's strong one, and lead them through the rubble. I fling myself on the grass, sputtering. I suddenly feel weak, and the world spins. No, I'm not done!

With my last strength, I place my hand over Kaster's heart, searching for another kind of star. I feel it passing through his skin and into my hands. It's light is dull, and there is a curtain of lies around it. Destroy it! I think, but I stop. I brush away the lies, and put new light into the star, replacing it in Kaster's heart. He falls to the ground, and I follow. The world swims before my eyes. I hear Nenyala's, Gretta's, Saphina's and Furbin's voices nearby.

"Where's Menaya?" I croak.

Furbin puts his hands to his face, sobbing, "She's dead. She sacrified herself..." the tears role down his face.

"Star Ruby," Leila whispers weakly. I sit against a tree to support myself. Calling down  the star must have used a lot of energy.

"I'm here," I say.

"I knew you could do it!"

Oh my goodness, Rosebud, that was a real powerful installment! I could never write like that...I almost cried...Wow.

Saphina~

Hold back the tears, breath in, breath out, hold back the tears, breath in, hold the-

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" I wail. I throw myself to the ground for all it's worth. My breathing is choppy, my chest feels tight. It has been so long since I have cried. I wail mournfully again.

"OOOOOOH!" Howls Furbin. We sob together, sob for all people lost, mournful for Menaya. Nenyala hugs us both, and Star Ruby, Leila, and Gretta join the embrace. I smile. I feel wanted, I feel protected, I feel-

Loved.

Love.

Is this what family is? What I never had with Mother?

"Family," I whisper. "Mother would-"

I never finish. I start crying again. But these are happy tears.

submitted by Over The Rainbow
(May 10, 2015 - 6:30 am)

When I cry, does it mean it is a good story?

Furbin~

All the people I lost. Stolen, destroyed. I breath in.

My thoughts swirl in my head, trying to think, trying to try. What happened? It all seems to go fast...

Friends. And love. I look at us all, covered in dirt, smiling despite the situation, crying. Are hearts are gold, made from love, sacrifce, and freedom. We saved this world... And lost... And lost...

Her life was shadowed in fear, hatred. Did she ever see love? Why must she go this way?

All this love, and happiness, sacrificed for Menaya. The brave soul, never seen as her true self. I let go of everyone, walking to her body.

"We... We must bury her." I choke, swallowing tears. I hold her body. Cold, death. I clutch more tightly.

"Do you want..." Nenyala starts, but I shush her.

"No. I would like to bury her alone." My eyes gleam with a hatred for the others, for a mid second, but I turn away.

It ended happily, right?... I guess. For others. Not for Menaya. She died, to save us.

I look to the remains of the castle. Finding a good place, I bury her on the site.

"You deserve it, friend." I smile, tears. Tears. Dig with hands, then paws. Tears darkening the soil, finding it's way through earth.

I find that other hands help. Saphina's, Star's, Nenyala's, Leila's and Gretta's. All help, all tears darkening the soil.

After some time, we finish. I lift Menaya into the ground, trembling, tears.

We all sob, again embracing each other.

We did good, we saved all.

Menaya will be honored, the shadow of heros. She did well. She was my love. I laugh, softly, hugging everyone, tears, tears, more hugs.

We are friends, hearts of gold, friends of a traitor, and heros. We defeated the elemental quartet, maybe not all the way, but we weakened them.

I, Furbin, a hybrid wolf, declare myself over with everything.

***

I'm not sure how it will go on, but I think it can end here. Brooke, you may decide, but my sweet Menaya is dead, and I'm not sure I can go any further.

Maybe part two? Master and the elemental quartet rise their castle from the ground, and use other plans to defeat us?
