GODS AND GODDESSES

GODS AND GODDESSES RP

So in this RP, we'll be playing gods and goddesses that belong to an ancient civilization I just made up, which is called Faemiri. Its inhabitants are the Faemirians, and the gods we create, of course. Only eleven members, please. (In addition to myself.) If you join, you hereby pledge to post regularly and not forget about the RP, okay? I want this to thrive! Here's the charrie sheet and my charrie.
Name: Isychio
God or Goddess?: God
Age: If he were human, he'd be about 47.
God(ess) of what?: God of silence, fortune, and colors.
Appearance: Very tall and strong. Rich dark skin. Eyes are wise and kind, with a hint of sadness. They look like color wheels with no pupil. They're cool, I can draw a picture if it doesn't make sense. I'll just draw a picture of him for you so he makes more sense overall.
Personality: He is, in essence, quiet. When he speaks, his voice is deep, harmonious, and rumbling. Many mortals will Queste far just to hear it. He's distant and gives off a strong aura of power. He likes to be alone, but you can tell it's worn on him through the years. He's a constant presence, someone to lean on. He's always there for those he supports. He's well loved.
Powers: He can silence millions with a wave of his hand, and make colors erupt from anywhere. He brings good luck or bad to those he believe deserve it.
Homerealm (a private world created by your god that only your god and any they invite can enter): Vibrano, the land of color. It's an archipelago of floating brown rock islands with rope bridges between them. A depressing silence fills it, and not even the streams of color can be heard.
Weapon of choice: Isychio uses a broadsword that turns into a scythe at night. Whatever form it takes, it's always strapped to his back in a silver sheath unless he's using it. It has a blade of Vibrano Iron, which is a special metal that contains a jet of the pure essence of color in the center. The hilt of the sword is golden, as is the scythe handle.
Sorry this was so long, hope you join!

Or it could be where the gods are guiding a certain hero on an adventure, like Odysseus or Jason or somebody. Or the gods divide to guide two different heroes who are rivals, so that causes some controversy among them. I don't know.

That sounds good to me, St.Owl. Maybe they could be sisters or something? Or maybe mother and daughter since the elements are kind of a broad category (and that's not a bad thing), and nature and plants are more of a detail? But I don't know. Whatever you think would be best.Smile

I would think sisters.

I like the idea of having three brothers, like Zeus, Posiden, and Hades. Is there going to be a creation myth for Fae'miri?

Okay, awesome! Sisters is great, that's kind of what I was thinking too.

Evdione--

It was a gorgeous day. The sun was shining and there was a little breeze tumbling through the Valley, along with a few bees hopping lazily from flower to flower. Yet I wasn't able to enjoy any of it. Isychio has been gone a lot lately, and there is enough tension amongst the gods and goddesses that I can almost taste it in the air. There's only a few places that I can go to escape, one of them obviously being my Homerealm. The second place is in the Enchanted forest. Nobody really goes in there, it's called the Enchanted Forest for a reason. I love to go in there because even though it is pretty dark in some areas, I can also sometimes control a few plants if they allow me to. Like the name explains, it is enchanted. Anyway, the last place (and perhaps my favorite) is the small meadow overlooking one of the lakes in the Valley. It is a little like my Homerealm, except without all the people.

I was standing in front of the Temple, thinking about all this, when I see my sister, Anase, trotting briskly across the lush, green lawn in my direction. She had almost reached me, and I could see the worry lines creasing her face. I was about to ask what was wrong when suddenly, there was a deafening crash inside the Temple. For a moment there was silence. Then someone started screaming, and chaos was upon us.

Hope this is okay, just tell me if I'm doing anything wrong or something. Also, if Evdione is Isychio, Lumion, and Mortem's mother, who would the father be? Just wondering.

Aionos is their father.

Ihitrris~

BOOM! A huge crash jolted me out of my trance. I had been amusing myself by confusing mortals - bringing back their past selves and letting them "accidentally" run into their future selves. It was funny for a while, watching their astonished expressions, but after a while I got bored and considered going back in time to one of Lumion's parties. That is, until the explosion.

I quickly looked up from my seeing orb and saw that Evdione (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was surprised by it too. "What happened?" I asked her. "I don't know," she replied looking slightly worried. Sighing, I picked up my bow and turned the knob at the front, half a turn, anti-clockwise. The gears all over the bow turned smoothly, and I was transported back to five minutes ago. Then I pushed the knob down, and time froze. Calmy, I walked past my past (frozen) self, who was busy annoying mortals, and to the temple. With another push of the knob, time was back to it's normal speed. Crouching down, I waited for something to happen. Out of nowhere, a creature appeared. I didn't know what it was, but I could tell it was Dark. It seemed to be a tangible shadow, an evil, hunched over creature with fangs. It tore through the throne room, ravaging everything and destroying the room, seeming to be looking for something. Quickly, I froze time again, but it seemed not to affect the creature. I drew back my bow and shot an arrow at it, but the arrow turned to dust when it made contact. Then the explosion happened, and I was thrown backward. When I looked up, the creature was gone.

Armani~ I sigh. I am bored. I mean I could probably make lots to of people afraid beyond there minds, but I have earned a reputation for being very responsible. I look over at the other few gods and goddesses in the room and sigh again trying to get their attention. Then I hear a large noise, everyone looks around, some of them get up. Fear rushes through me. I won't move. What  ifs are running through my head. I close my eyes and hear more noise. I hear a loud crash and open my eyes. Whatever is happening isn't good.

Selwyn~

I wander through the Valley of the Gods looking for inspiration. I want to make a new creature for my home realm, maybe one that can tell me riddles. I love riddles. There are so many different, opposite answers I can get. It's hard to believe that mortals created them. Mortals can be such clever little things. Maybe I should go into the Temple. I usually get good ideas from the mortals who pray to me. I wander inside and sit in front of my stone offering table with my legs crossed and my palms on my knees. I close my eyes and mentaly call my worshipers prayers to me.

An explosion shatters my thoughts. I spring to my feet, call my bow to my hand, and look for the cause. A huge shadowy monster is tearing the throne room apart, scattering the huge thrones and altars as if they were pebbles. The monster bellows, peering around. Is it looking for someone? I tried to shoot an arrow, but as I do so, time stops. Ihitrris must be here. My arrow freezes midair, but Ihitrris' does not. It soars through the air and vanishes the moment it hits the monster, who was not affected by Ihitrris' time freeze. I shudder mentally. Can this monster resist our powers? How will we stop it? As I watch, helplessly imprisioned by Ihitrris, the beast vanishes as suddenly as the arrow, leaving only the finest trace of ash. I squint at it. Are those letters in the ash? Time speads up and I rush to read them. They say:  It is impossible to fight the shadows. You can never win when they are everywhere.

Fylena's sacred bird is a meadowlark, and her sacred plant is a buttercup.

~~~~~~~~~~
Fylena: A day like this can make even me a little bored.
Can't visit the mortals (because the mortals are all confused), can't run around (I'm supposed to act more ladylike),  I can't even tell jokes (everyone's too gloomy to laugh at any of them). I'm tempted to dangle upside-down on my throne, because that would be so much more fun, but then Emarilla's words echo in my mind: "You are a goddess. The people look to you to rule. You must be more mature for them." I sigh and think of rhymes to amuse myself: Emarilla the chinchilla lives in a villa, the cherry berry rolls into the dairy, I looked at a book in my look-book knook...I start to smile as I think of a few more.
My rhymes are coming to me faster know, and becoming more clever, too, when a large crash interrupts my rhyming. I quickly look up and see nothing but debris, but something's gnawing at me. Some dark, empty feeling. I brush it off, until it gets stronger and stronger and I scream in pain. The dark pain recedes and I immediately start to feel warmer and happier, and I breathe a sigh of relief. I straighten up and keep breathing deeply, a single thought going around my mind: What was that?
I like the direction this is going... So could the creature be part of the Kino Army, whose goal is to overthrow the Gods and take over by stealing the Orb of Dominance?
Hey Admins, I want to make a video reading thing of this RP, is that okay?
 That’s fine. But keep in mind that we’re unable to post video or links on the Chatterbox. ~Admins
Aw. How would the CBers in the RP see the video then?
Not through this site. Sorry.
That sounds awesome! We should give the creature a name sometime too. Maybe at first it could just be called The Creature or Creature or something, but then have the characters find out what it really is later on? I don't know, just thinking.
Maybe it's some sort of evil god/spirit in disguise
Lumion~
I stand in a sunny meadow in my homeland Luminelle, admiring my reflection in a clear pool. Pretty nymphs and merry Asterilles, men with wings as well as arms and legs like a stag, prance around preparing for a new feast.
Today has been very enjoyable so far. Though I know Father Aionos disapproves of me staying away from the Valley of the Gods for so long, I haven't been there for at least a week-- it is so dull. Some days I wander around the earth, bequeathing the gift of poetry to both the foolish and the wise, and some days I simply stay in my homerealm, preparing feasts and parties for my followers, and any gods who have nothing better to do.
Suddenly, a message flashes through my mind. Come to the Valley at once. It is my father's voice. I know it must be urgent, for usually Aionos uses a messanger of some sort if he must contact me. Though usually "urgent" matters turn out to be something like Fylena ripping her robe or Selwyn finding the answer to a riddle she's been working on for days.
Unwilling to leave the preparations but always the obediant son, I casually thrust out my hand. The nymph straightening my hair covers her eyes with her arm, and all of the other nymphs and Asterilles look away, for the ray of light bursting forth from my palm is as blinding as the sun.
I gracefully swipe my hand in an arc, cutting out a doorway visible only to me and anyone touching me.
"Come," I say to my attendants. They grab ahold to various parts of my tunic, and I stroll through the arch into the Valley of the Gods. All of the others are standing around in a huddle, with grim looks on their faces. Some of the younger goddesses seem close to tears. Many hold weapons. My father, the only one seated, has his head bowed in his lap like an old man. For the first time, I start to doubt the triviality of the matter. My stride quickens, losing its carefree swagger. Something horrible must have happened.
