GODS AND GODDESSES

GODS AND GODDESSES RP

So in this RP, we'll be playing gods and goddesses that belong to an ancient civilization I just made up, which is called Faemiri. Its inhabitants are the Faemirians, and the gods we create, of course. Only eleven members, please. (In addition to myself.) If you join, you hereby pledge to post regularly and not forget about the RP, okay? I want this to thrive! Here's the charrie sheet and my charrie.
Name: Isychio
God or Goddess?: God
Age: If he were human, he'd be about 47.
God(ess) of what?: God of silence, fortune, and colors.
Appearance: Very tall and strong. Rich dark skin. Eyes are wise and kind, with a hint of sadness. They look like color wheels with no pupil. They're cool, I can draw a picture if it doesn't make sense. I'll just draw a picture of him for you so he makes more sense overall.
Personality: He is, in essence, quiet. When he speaks, his voice is deep, harmonious, and rumbling. Many mortals will Queste far just to hear it. He's distant and gives off a strong aura of power. He likes to be alone, but you can tell it's worn on him through the years. He's a constant presence, someone to lean on. He's always there for those he supports. He's well loved.
Powers: He can silence millions with a wave of his hand, and make colors erupt from anywhere. He brings good luck or bad to those he believe deserve it.
Homerealm (a private world created by your god that only your god and any they invite can enter): Vibrano, the land of color. It's an archipelago of floating brown rock islands with rope bridges between them. A depressing silence fills it, and not even the streams of color can be heard.
Weapon of choice: Isychio uses a broadsword that turns into a scythe at night. Whatever form it takes, it's always strapped to his back in a silver sheath unless he's using it. It has a blade of Vibrano Iron, which is a special metal that contains a jet of the pure essence of color in the center. The hilt of the sword is golden, as is the scythe handle.
Sorry this was so long, hope you join!

Fylena:

I stand back from all the attacking, watching with wide eyes as mortals try and fail to fight the shadow monsters. The gods and goddesses launch a volley of arrows and unleash with their swords and daggers, but nothing works. I take another step back and look for something, anything I can do to help.

Over in the corner of a building I spot 2 girls, trembling and sobbing. I rush to their side, taking their hands.

"Are you alright? What are your names?" I ask, wiping the tears from their faces with the back of my hand.

"I-I'm Callidora and this i-is Maeve," says the older girl, Callidora, in a trembling voice. Maeve just stares at me with wide, fearful eyes. I smile warmly at them.

"It'll be alright. We'll get you out if here. Who are your parents?"

"T-their names are Thelma and Demitrius," Callidora tells me.

"They dissapered," Maeve says in her little, matter-of-fact voice. At least she's speaking now-maybe my magic is starting to work.

I gently press the girls for more information, and learn that Thelma and Demitrius Pallas were last seen going into the resturant a little bit away. I take the girls by the hands and lead them through the road, dodging shadow monsters wherever I can and kicking them, hard, when I can't. Kicking them doesn't seem to do much, but at least it stuns them long enough for us to get away. Finally, we reach the resturant-or what used to be a resturant. It's now in ruins, tables kicked every, walls and collums collapsing. I tell the girls to stay there and make my way through the ruins, looking and listening for any signs of mortals.

"Thelma! Demitrius!" I call, and call, until my throat grows hoarse. Finally, there's a faint reply from underneath 2 fallen tables.

"Over here!" I run towards the sound, and spot a woman's scared face from underneath the tables. I heave one away and grab Thelma's hand, pulling her out. Demitrius comes out after her.

"Thank you, oh, thank you!" Thelma cries.

"Where are Callidora and Maeve?" Demitrius asks, looking around franticlly.

"Don't worry, they're over here," I say, leading them over. The family embraces, murmering thanks over and over again. I smile at them, then whip around when I hear my name.

"FYLENA! I need your help!"

Lumion~

It was so abrupt, so unheard of. That at one moment I could
be going about my daily business, laughing and swaggering about my homerealm,
and barely half an hour later be watching monsters devastate the mortals’
farmlands, was shocking to me. Yet I was dazed.

Fylena ran off right away to help some mortal girls, and
some of the other goddesses rushed into battle while Aionos tried to regain
order. As for Mortem, I could not see him anywhere.

The shadow monsters did not appear to be very dangerous at
first glance. Though quick and snarling, some were barely two feet tall, yet no
weapon seemed to penetrate their flickering forms. All were different in their
appearance. Some were darker versions of ordinary animals, while others were fanged
monsters from nightmares. Still others were mere sooty blobs.

Mortals rushed around screaming. I alone of the Fae’mirians
remained on the hilltop.

Suddenly, I had an idea. Trying to summon up a fragment of
the mirth which had once came so easily to me, I chanted the secret words known
only to myself and the Great Ones of old. I pointed at a shadow monster
currently charging towards a cottage, and immediately he stopped in his tracks
and started to growl. I could barely tell what he said, but it sounded like:

These people cannot help themselves

They farm and mine they dig and delve

They weave and sew and grow and sing,

Yet they do not know anything

The gods, they are not better off

They sit on thrones and wheeze and cough,

They cannot help the darkness too

Oh master, so pleased shall be you!

“Lumion!” I heard Aionos shout clearly from below. I had
hoped the monster would give us some information, but I could not listen to him
any longer. I rushed down and joined the fruitless battle.

Selwyn~

I can't shoot these creatures, so what can I do? This question is like a riddle. Good, I can do riddles. Maybe... turn them into the opposite of what they are? What's the opposite of shadow? Oh! Light of course! I turn to a shadow demon and glare at it concentrating hard. The creature feels my stare, hot as Fire, cold as Ice, and turns. Its eyes meet mine, and instantly the dark, smokey shadow turns into a bright, beautiful, ball of light and starts to float upwards, spreading warmth over the battle like another sun. The huge demon standing next to it bellows and grabs on to the lightball and pulls it down. The creature's ashey color spreads over the ball of light and turns it back into a monster. The large demon charges at me, along with the one I just turned into light and four others. I can't fight these things! Nothing I do works! I turn and run towards the forest. Just before the trees start I wave my hand through the Air, turning it to a wall of Earth. The beasts chasing me slam into the wall, howling in rage, then start to pound on the wall, trying to beat it down. Fortunatly, they are not smart enough to go around the wall... yet. I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I clamber up a tree and survey the fighting. Fylena is helping two mortal children and Lumion is racing into the fray. I keep watching, trying to think what to do. Why don't my arrows work? Maybe I could turn them into something else? I pull out an arrow and inspect it. It's made of a shiny material called Kalist that only comes from my home realm. Kalist is very bright and seems to eminate a sort of Moon-like glow. I focus on it in my mind and feel the arrow become heavier in my hand. I open my eyes and see that I am holding an arrow black as night. It seems to suck in everything around it, sunlight and shade. Perhaps this will work. I take aim at a demon, pull, and fire. The arrow flies straight, right into where the beast's heart would be, if it had one. As soon as the arrow hits, the darkness from the monster seems to be sucked inside. The creature lets out an earshattering shriek as it is consumed, then is abruptly cut off. Every fighter turns towards the sound. The demons around the wall scatter as the arrow clatters innocently to the ground.

Admins won't let me say. Right, Admins? Hey, what if you (the Admins) looked at it yourselves and approved it? The description says that everything is 7+, and I assure you that it's true! But oh well...... If should make Part Two, I think we've gained enough posts since I did the first.

Our reviewing it wouldn't make any difference. It might lead to more things we don't have time to review. I'm sorry.
