GODS AND GODDESSES

GODS AND GODDESSES RP

So in this RP, we'll be playing gods and goddesses that belong to an ancient civilization I just made up, which is called Faemiri. Its inhabitants are the Faemirians, and the gods we create, of course. Only eleven members, please. (In addition to myself.) If you join, you hereby pledge to post regularly and not forget about the RP, okay? I want this to thrive! Here's the charrie sheet and my charrie.
Name: Isychio
God or Goddess?: God
Age: If he were human, he'd be about 47.
God(ess) of what?: God of silence, fortune, and colors.
Appearance: Very tall and strong. Rich dark skin. Eyes are wise and kind, with a hint of sadness. They look like color wheels with no pupil. They're cool, I can draw a picture if it doesn't make sense. I'll just draw a picture of him for you so he makes more sense overall.
Personality: He is, in essence, quiet. When he speaks, his voice is deep, harmonious, and rumbling. Many mortals will Queste far just to hear it. He's distant and gives off a strong aura of power. He likes to be alone, but you can tell it's worn on him through the years. He's a constant presence, someone to lean on. He's always there for those he supports. He's well loved.
Powers: He can silence millions with a wave of his hand, and make colors erupt from anywhere. He brings good luck or bad to those he believe deserve it.
Homerealm (a private world created by your god that only your god and any they invite can enter): Vibrano, the land of color. It's an archipelago of floating brown rock islands with rope bridges between them. A depressing silence fills it, and not even the streams of color can be heard.
Weapon of choice: Isychio uses a broadsword that turns into a scythe at night. Whatever form it takes, it's always strapped to his back in a silver sheath unless he's using it. It has a blade of Vibrano Iron, which is a special metal that contains a jet of the pure essence of color in the center. The hilt of the sword is golden, as is the scythe handle.
Sorry this was so long, hope you join!

If it's alright, Mortem will know a bit about the creature since he's the god of shadows.

Harmonia~ Coclia shakes, it’s harmony disrupted. An earthquake rocks the world, knocking me off my feet. I scramble up and search for the sign of the disturbance. There is none. After the ground ceases shuddering, I sing a melody known only to me, the password to the other worlds, and step through the portal opened by my song.

There is a crack in the great oaken door to the Temple of the gods. The gods and goddesses are gathered before the temple. I run to join them, desperate for answers.

“What happened to the Temple? My homerealm shook.”

“An explosion, a creature invaded the Temple.” Anase answers my question calmly, though she is obviously worried. We stare in silence at the Temple, shocked. The grass around the Temple is scorched, and the pillars supporting the roof blackened by flame. (I have no idea how you want the temple to look, so I’m basically acting like it’s the Parthenon.)

“The creature was from my homerealm, but I did not create it.” I jump, startled, but realize that it’s Mortem, emerging from the shadows.

“I watched it ravage the Temple, but I could not stop it.” He looks melancholy, almost guilty, his robes are torn and he has a burn mark on his cheek.

“Did it create the explosion?” I feel odd, asking so many questions, and knowing the answer to none.

“It can do many things, but that is not one of its powers.” Mortem answers my question confidently. He strides to stand at his father, Ainos’s, right hand. I take my place among the assembled gods and goddesses and wait for something to happen.

Isychio~ As soon as I get the warning, a panic settles over me. Somehow I know that this urgency is more important than all previous ones. In a flash of color, I'm out of Vibrano and standing back in the throne room. Or rather, what's left of the throne room. "Isychio!" Lumion gasps. I gaze over the smoking rubble. "What happened?" I ask. It's Fylena who answers, all laughter absent from her usually twinkling eyes. "Something... Something came. I think it wants something, but couldn't find it... Oh, Isychio, what if it wanted the Orb?" I inhale sharply. "It couldn't- no- describe to me this creature."

"It was massive," Armani begins.

"It looked like coalesced shadows," Selwyn continues.

"And it had the most terrible red eyes!" Ihitrris interjects.

"It arrived in a loud crash, an explosion that caused the wreckage you see now," Evdione says gravely.

Mortem looks thoughtful, almost... Wistful. "I felt a connection of sorts with it," he remarks. "It seemed almost as though I could sense what it thought. It wanted power, it was hungry. It murmured of an army, a hidden army. It spoke of the Army of Shadows."

Aionos~ The creature shook me. I am not the young one I used to be, and its sudden appearance has made me wonder if he's back, truly back... I push the thought away. No. We banished him and he will not return. But what if... The thought nags at me, and it won't leave. But I can't be weak. I can't be a coward. Not like I have been, not like then. I must be there for my family, for my fellows. Even for the mortals- if the shadowy beasts kill them off, we will exist no longer. But what worries me most is that the shadowy creatures may have wanted the Orb of Power. Whoever possesses the Orb has the powers and rule over Fae'miri. The creature that- er- visited us today cannot have been pure of heart and we cannot allow the control of the world we love pass into its hands, paws, whatever. I begin to speak.

"Gods and goddesses of Fae'miri, we are in grave danger..."

Just wondering, would it be alright if Fylena and Evdione were friends? I just thought that their personalities kind of go together.

Evdione--

"...grave danger..." Aionos is speaking now, but I can't hear him. Somebody said that their homerealm was shaking when the...thing was in the temple. I shudder as I think about how much power that creature must have to affect our Valley and Fae'miri at the same time. Aionos has finished speaking now, and murmurs trickle through the crowd. I turn to Fylena. There is no trace of laughter about her. Her face is stony, and her eyes look afraid. She doesn't speak, but I know what she is thinking. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a dark cloak ripple in the breeze. But there is no breeze. I whirl around and watch as Mortem quietly slips away. I catch a glimpse of his face as he turns around, and he looks almost... guilty. I make to follow him, but suddenly Fylena is tugging at my sleeve. I turn around, frustrated for a moment because I couldn't follow Mortem. Until I see what Fylena is pointing at. My mouth drops open, and I hear gasps as others see what I'm seeing. There's a gash in the air, and as it grows we can see into it. It looks like someone's homerealm. Suddendly a mortal squeezes through the gap. His hair is matted, his clothes are torn, and blood is running down the side of his arm. His crazed eyes stare at us desperately, and Aionos steps forward. The mortal shifts his gaze onto our calm leader. His voice gurgles as he tries to speak, but finally we can make out words. "You've got- to h-help us! P-p-please, I beg of you, gods of Fae'miri!" He says. Then he collapses on the ground, a fit of coughing shaking his body. Aionos walks forward and steadies the man. "What is your name?" we hear him asking the man. The mortal stares at Aionos. For a moment, there is silence. "My name- is- is Graenin." The man collapses on the ground again, his eyes wide as he lies on the ground, shaking. Aionos turns, his eyes fixed on me. This man is my father.

Sorry if that was kind of dramatic right after the creature in the temple, but I was thinking that maybe the two events could be connected somehow? I don't know, just thinking.

Well, obviously the two were connected! What I want to know is how the mortal was able to set foot on the Valley..... Well, I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures! Wait.... what the cat? Aionos is not a mortal's child! You can't just say that without my permission! I had this idea where the Gods just kind of... came out of nowhere, I guess, and appeared randomly to protect Fae'Miri. But I like your idea nonetheless and am thrilled at the fantastic story we're spinning! Yet I must remind you (Cockleburr, this is you too) that mortals are not our playthings. We shouldn't mess with them just for our enjoyment.

Now I really need to start making this into a video..... I'm behind :T

Yes, I understand now that Linnea was saying that the Muggl- I mean mortal was Evdione's father.

And Cockleburr (you're the goddess of fear and hope, right?), you said that you could make countless mortals fear for their lives just for fun in an earlier post. We're not supposed to do that!

I believe what Linnea was trying to convey was that the mortal was Evidion's father.

Sorry Scylla! We can just ignore that last post if you want. I didn't know that that's how you wanted it to work, so I can redo that part if it doesn't go with what you imagined.

No no no! I loved the epic twist you wrote so skillfully in your previous post and will never, EVER ignore it! I've started on the video and it's going to be called "Gods & Goddesses RP."

Anase~

Before I can stop myself, I'm hurtling towards Graenin. We don't have a god of healing, so, I figure, I'm plenty suitable for the task at hand. Swallowing my pride, I kneel next to him, placing my hands on his shoulder. A trickle of water seeps into the wound and slowly makes its way through the rest of his body, washing away the blood. Then, conjuring up a soft flame, I dry his clothes and step back.

Ignoring the mortal after that, I turn to the rest of the gods, most of whom are much taller than me. I don't care, really; I can feel my mood changing already, pity to anger.

Pity to anger.

Pity to anger.

"Well?" I snap suddenly. "Obviously, this creature has gone and attacked the mortals too! What are you waiting for?!"

Sorry it's short, I have to go!

Selwyn~

Finally, something I can do! I pull out an arrow and slice it through the air, creating a portal to the mortal realm. Screams of terror drift through. Anase steps quickly thorugh, followed by the other gods and goddesses. I glance back at Graenin and ask him, "Are you coming?" He groans in response. I take that as a no and follow my fellow deities through the portal, pinching the portal closed behind me. I hear more shouts and turn around, raising my bow. My mouth falls open at the scene in front of me: Mortals running in terror from the shadow creatures, homes destroyed, people killed. Some brave mortals are trying to fight, but are naturaly failing. I bring an arrow to my bow and shoot at a shadow monster's face. The arrow turnes to ash as soon as it hits, just like Ihitriss's did, back at the temple. How can we fight creatures immune to our weapons and powers?

Sorry it's short, I just wanted to write something and now I have homework. Yuk.
