Percy Jackson RP!

Percy Jackson RP!

Percy Jackson RP!
I haven't seen one of these for a while, so I decided to make one.
In this RP, the satyrs have gone missing, so the gods themselves must help the demigods on their way to Camp Half-Blood. However, the gods can't help them directly. So instead, they put all the demigods in the same school, and left a copy of a Percy Jackson book, in hopes that they would come together and realize who they were.
The charrie sheet:

Appearance: Dark skin, and long, wavy brown hair. Brown-black eyes.
Personality: Very outgoing. She has a lot of friends, and is extremely nice. However, she is also show-offy.
Favorite weapon: Dagger
Background/Other: None

And here's another one!
Name: Sakura Kita (Japanese) (Last name means "north", first name means "cherry blossom")
Age: 12
Immortal parent: Apollo
Any powers/ talents (You can have either 5 small talents, 2 big talents, or 1 talent and 1 power): She has 2 big talents. She is extremely good at writing poetry and has won quite a few singing contests.
Appearance: Short, with straight black hair usually pulled up into pigtails. Her eyes are angled upwards (Unlike my own).
Personality: Very secretive. She doesn't want to be judged by her family. She's also a sad girl. And she does NOT trust anyone.
Favorite weapon: Sword
Background/Other: Her great-grandfather was a general in World War II, and she obviously keeps that secret. Her aunt also died from leukemia, because of an atomic bomb.
It would be cool if someone made a Chinese charrie, one who was killed by her great-grandfather! The conflict would be fun to write about. (Many Chinese were killed in World War II, but we only learn about the Western deaths in school.)

"So, do you think it was possible? That…That animal?" Julia asks.
We are sitting on the floor in my room, the computer nearby. I'm ready to reach for it if my parents check in, because I'm pretending to need Julia's help with my program.
"I don't know. We all saw it, but…" I trail off. It shouldn't exist!
Just then, Julia's phone rings.
"Hey Blue-Jay, can this wait? I'm at Sakura's house." She holds the phone to her ear. Then she hangs up.
"Sakura, we're going to Jacinth's house. To talk."
"Okay." I say to Julia. Then I call, "Mama! Watashitachiha, Jacinth no ie ni itte imasu!" We are going to Jacinth's house!
From downstairs comes my mom's voice. "5-Ji made ni kitaku suru koto ga!" Be back by five o'clock! She yells in Japanese.
"We have to be back by five," I tell her.
Julia grabs her things. "Let's go, then."

Keep this alive! I'll post if someone posts after me...

Kyanite~

I am an avid reader. This surprises most people, though I have no idea why. But after I had once again followed Sophia's stream of blonde hair out of the school bus and into Ms. Palmer's Home for Children (I can never call it home like the other kids do), I didn't feel like reading. For several reasons, one of which being that I still had a headache.

I'm in my room staring at the wall when Riley and Josiah, who (lucky elementary-schoolers that they are) have been here for almost an hour, pound down the stairs yelling:

"Milk and cookies, cookies and milk! C'mon, Ky, it's snack time!" How do they have the energy to do that every single schoolday? Oh well, I'm not hungry anyways. The events in the day keep playing over and over in my head. Something is nagging at me... something my pen pal (forced upon me by my parents in earlier years) wrote to me in a letter which is probably long gone. Or is it?

Ten minutes later, I sit amid to over-turned boxes of keepsakes and junk, searching for the letter. How on earth would a letter have anything to do with my crazy day? I'm just about to give up when I find it. The last letter my pen pal wrote to me.

Kyanite,

I'm sorry I haven't written back, things have been really crazy. I'm going away to summer camp for half a year, and it's all the way in NY! Dad's so nervous about me going for the WHOLE SUMMER that he let his potato plants die. I have to go, though. And someday, we might see each other there. Not until you're older, though. Your dad said so. Wouldn't that be fun? We've never met in person. Anyways, things are about to get busy. You might not hear from me for a long time.

Your pen pal,

Finn

P.S., if things get dangerous, call me. I might not pick up. Same flip-phone as always.

I let the letter fall to the floor. If things get dangerous, call me...dangerous...dangerous...call me...

I wonder if he still has that flip-phone.

Halley~ "Leo, Leeeeeeeeeo!" I call. "What do you want Halley?" he answers. How can he stay away from people this much? I haven't seen him in ages. "Leo, you will never believe what happened. I got attacked by a Minotaur and so did Jake and Julia and Sakura and some more people," I say. Leo has always been like an older brother to me. "Weird," he answers. "No I am serious and I think you were supposed to be there to." "Right, you get attacked by a fake Greek monster," he says. "Please believe me," I beg. I am going with the I-am-so-pitiful-and-helpless take on things today. "Please?" I ask. I am not sure what I am asking and why I am asking it but I am in it and I will get myself out.

Leo~ Halley attacked by a Minotaur? I am surprised that thing wasn't afraid of her sparkly pink EVERYTHING. Halley is strange. But some of me believes her. "Leo, here is the thing, you have to help us. We all have to come together in case this thing comes back. Oh and I decided to learn Greek mythology," Halley says. She is exited about this. "Sure Halley," I answer, not knowing exactly what I signed up for.

Jacinth~

I'm waiting at the end of the driveway when Julia and Sakura bike up to me. Julia's been here before, but, since Sakura and I aren't very close, the farm is unfamiliar to her. Let me explain about the second cousins thing, because Julia and I look absolutely nothing alike. That's because my dad was adopted into the family.

"Dad's at a meeting, so we have..." I check my watch, "1 hour and 30 minutes." Julia and Sakura lean their bikes against a wild pear tree and follow me towards the porch. Without thinking, I pick a pear blossom off of the tree. Seeing this, Julia smiles and bends to inhale the sweet aroma of honeysuckle vines sprouting from the small patch of woods. We're two peas in a pod. Together, we plop onto the porch next to Sakura. Before anyone says anything, I speak up.

"That was real." Julia nods. She knows what I'm talking about.

"But...it's like a piece of fiction just wove into our lives. That...minitaur doesn't belong in our world. It's impossible!" she replies.

"My brain hurts." Suddenly, Sakura looks up.

"Have you ever felt like someone is watching you? Have you ever felt unsafe, or thought that you might be able to see something that no one else can see?" she asks. I nod. There's always been something, or a shadow of something just around the corner, watching...

I'm new, so tell me if I'm rushing or doing anything wrong!
~Arushi~
I'm still dazed from the Minotaur attack. The day before that, I had just read about Percy Jackson, when he was attacked by one, too!
"Hmm…" I murmur to myself. "And a few other kids saw… And nobody else saw…"
Suddenly, the realization hits me with full force and I almost fall off the chair I'm sitting on.
The Mist.
Is real.
And so.
Are monsters.

Alana~

This has literally been the strangest day ever. Who in the world just gets randomly attacked by ancient Greek monsters that are supposed to be dead?!

On my way home, I stop by the library and look for books on Greek mythology. Of course, I look in the children's section. None of the adult books will even begin to make sense. I do a quick search on the library computer for mythology books. The first thing that comes up is a book called Percy Jackson. I think I remember our teacher mentioning it last year during the mythology unit, saying that it was about the children of the Greek gods. Maybe it'll have some information about the minotaur. I memorize the call number and find it towards the back, under the R's. Apparently it's a series, with the first one being the Lightning Theif. I check out that one and the second one, the Sea of Monsters, and head home with them hidden in my backpack. My mom greets me as I walk inside our house with a

"Hey Alana! How was school?" I freeze. I'm not sure if I should tell her about what happened or not. I decide it'd be best not to. I'll try and figure out exactly why it attacked us, and then I might mention it.

"It-it was good," I stutter. This is pointless. SHe knows me too well. She'll be able to tell immediately that something is wrong.

"Do you want something to eat?" Mom asks.

"No thanks," I reply. Better start reading sooner, then I can figure this out sooner. "I-I have a ton of homework, I'm going to start working on that."

"Okay. Call me if you need anything."

"I will," I yell, on the way up the stairs to my room. I feel bad about lying. I don't actually have that much homework, just a science assignment and a literature essy that's due in like a week. I have plenty of time. Finding out what happend today is my priority right now. I quickly read the back summary, then open it up. WHy wouldn't I start with chapter one?

~~~
An hour later, I know all I need to know. The first monster Percy fights is a Minotaur. That tells me everything. The truth is terrifying.
Greek monsters are real.
The Mist is real.
Percy must be real too.
We are demigods.
