Round robin!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Round robin!

Round robin!

Sam's feet felt heavier and heavier as they pounded against the ground. She wished she could just stop and take a rest, but that wasn't going to happen, she might lose her life if she did. A little voice in her head was calling, stop, stop, you have to stop. Atleast climb a tree or something, goblins hate tree's. but there were no tree's around.

It was holloween night and she was running away from a goblin. Her sister had dared her to knock on the door of the haunted house on their street, and look were it got her, running down an alley with a goblin at her heels. STOP. And thats what she did, she stopped, she had almost run into a dead end in the alley.

"Got ya, you little brat." the goblin grabbed the back of her neck and positioned her head so she could see his cold, black beady eyes. The goblin's breath smelled like rotten fish. It burned up her nose and into her lungs, then everything went black.

All right, since no one is continuing the story, here goes!

Ama
still hadn't reacted to the antidote, and if she wasn't breathing
normally soon, she could die within minutes! Muretta looked at Ama. Her
skin, normally a pinky-peach, looked very pale pink, with a
slight, pale, sickly yellow tinge. Her mouth was open, breath slowly
coming in and barely blowing out. Aunt Laurel stood, looking concerned,
over Ama's body. Alyssa was kneeling beside her, silent tears coursing
down her face. Meanwhile....

Lusmos could tell something was wrong. She felt a knot of unease gathering in her stomach. She knew that someone, someone dear to her was in trouble. She walked over to her scrying pool, dragging her chains behind her. Really, her scrying pool was no more than a puddle, but at least it worked. She whispered a few hurried words and an image appeared. Many people clustered around someone fallen on the floor. She whispered again and the view transferred to inside the circle of concerned people. She scanned the faces gathered around the body on the floor. Kilhelm.Aunt Laurel! That was strange. Laurel rarely went anywhere. Some woman. She recognized the face... Aha! That was Muretta. She had met her a few times, in the Times Before the Wraith. And, Alyssa! Her own Alyssa! Why would she be there?! She scanned to the body on the floor. She knew that face! Those high, arched eyebrows, fine, raspberry lips, small, refined nose. When had she last seen that face?! Suddenly she knew!!! Ahtnamas!!!!!!!! That was her daughter! She was alive! Ama! Ama! Ama! Silent tears coursed down her face, rippling the picture in the pool, blurring her vision. She wiped her eyes with her dirty dress and looked again. Ama was pale and sick looking. She zoomed farther, inside Ama's body. She saw swirling deep crimson in Ama's blue blood. Poison. Lusmos could tell. She also saw little wisps of green swirling around the red. It was an antidote. An antidote, but not the antidote! Ama was dying! The realization hit her hard. She took a deep breath, and whispered into her hands. A silver light appeared in her hand, growing as she whispered. Suddenly, the light turned to a silver doe, the symbol of Lusmos. Lusmos opened her hand. The doe shot into the pool. Lusmos watched as the crimson steaks were covered in silver, and disappeared. She smiled and dashed the water with her hand, breaking the picture. Ama was alive!

All eyes watched Ama nervously. She kept getting paler and paler, 'til she was almost a pearl white. Suddenly, She gasped and a spasm racked her body. She coughed. Her normal peach color was rapidly spreading all over her body. Just as she returned to her normal color, silver flashed in her right hand. Alyssa picked her hand up and stared. The perfect shape of a doe glowed faintly on her right palm. The first words out of Ama's mouth were: Lusmos.

This story is AWESOME! Can I join?

"Lusmos," said Ama softly. "My mother?"

"Yes," said Maretta. Then she jerked her head up. "Oh no!" she cried.

"What?" asked Alyssa.

"It's the Wraith!" screamed Maretta. "They're coming!"

Kilheim and Laurel sprang into action. "We need to organize our armies, Kilheim," siad Laurel. Kilheim nodded and sprang towards the door. "Maretta, Ama, Alyssa, come with me."

"Where are we going?" Ama asked.

"To keep you safe," Laurel replied. "Don't worry. All will be well now."

(By the way...if the antidote was the wrong antidote, then if the others took it, shouldn't they be dying right about now?)

Andy says hymp.
