Round robin!

Round robin!

Sam's feet felt heavier and heavier as they pounded against the ground. She wished she could just stop and take a rest, but that wasn't going to happen, she might lose her life if she did. A little voice in her head was calling, stop, stop, you have to stop. Atleast climb a tree or something, goblins hate tree's. but there were no tree's around.

It was holloween night and she was running away from a goblin. Her sister had dared her to knock on the door of the haunted house on their street, and look were it got her, running down an alley with a goblin at her heels. STOP. And thats what she did, she stopped, she had almost run into a dead end in the alley.

"Got ya, you little brat." the goblin grabbed the back of her neck and positioned her head so she could see his cold, black beady eyes. The goblin's breath smelled like rotten fish. It burned up her nose and into her lungs, then everything went black.

I agree Wolfgirl. So, since the original makers of this story aren't here...

As Laurel was guiding the girls through a vast hallway, she suddenly fainted. The girls stopped in their tracks. They didn't know what to do. Then Maretta fainted, then Alyssa. Ama was left their all alone. She remembered she was the only one to get the correct antidote. Ama looked around her. They had stopped just in front of a fork in the hallway.

 "Great." she murmured, "Which way. Left or right? Or should I just wait here?" Just then, she heard shrieks nearby. She had no time to waste. Ama...

Sorry. Don't know what to do. Alexa says Hi. She's not on because she's doing something.

...on a wild impulse, headed left. She ran faster and faster, harder and harder, until she came into a strange, circular stone room. In the center was a tablet with a small glass bottle on it.

Take it, Ama, a voice in her head urged. It is the antidote.

The shape of the doe was on her hand again. Ama took a deep breath, grabbed the bottle, and ran back down the hallway. Thank you...

Mother.

If nobody else will post on this then I will. *decided nod*

Ama raced back, barely feeling the pain in her chest from too much running. She reached Laurel, Muretta, and Alyssa, lying unconcious on the floor. Hoping fervently that she wasn't too late, she unstoppered the bottle with shaking hands and poured a drop into each of their mouths. Then she waited.

For what seemed like a long while, nothing happened. Then, one by one, Muretta, Alyssa, and Laurel coughed, opened their eyes, and shakily sat up. Ama nearly fainted with relief.

"Ama?" Muretta said. Then she smiled. "Good girl, Ama, you saved us all."

"Not yet she hasn't," Laurel said. "She still has the prophecy to fulfill."

"Prophecy?" Ama asked. "What prophecy?"

"Too bad you'll never know," sneered a voice from the doorway.

Ama, Alyssa, Laurel and Muretta whipped around. In the doorway stood a thirteen-year-old girl-the very last person on earth they wanted to see.

"Melanie!"

Please help me with this story. *makes puppy-dog eyes and pouts* Please?

Melanie rose into the air; if it was Laurel or Melanie, the sisters and Murretta did not know.  Then Melanie laughed, as she steered herself toward them through the air.  "Thank you, Aunt, for that jump start." Melanie's sneer turned into a wicked smile as Laurel fell to the ground, exausted.

Allyssa and Ama helped her up, but her legs refused to let her stand.  The antidote flew from Ama's hand and into Melanie's, or Rhiana's.*  Ama glared at Melanie.  She had learned not to yell at her younger sister when she stole things from her.  But Ama was not used to her sister getting things from her with magic, instead of her hands.

"Mellanie!" screamed Ama angrily, like an older, very annoyed sister, which was exatly what she was, "Give that back!  Now!."

Melanie giggled, "No," she said it very quietly, like a butterfly whisper on the breeze.  ((don't know what the butterfly breeze trhing was about...))

She ran, or flew out of the hall and down the hall.  "You know, you are it.  You should know that.  Oh!  You do!  Amazing, Sam, I never knew you could run so fast!  But I'm faster!  Catch me if you can!" She spun around, showing off.  Sam was out of breath, but fury and the nead for the antidote, to get all the people better, wouldn't let her stop.

Melanie stopped aruptly, breathing heavily.   Ama ran after after her, reaching for the antidote.  There it was, inches from her grasp, and seconds later feet away, after Melanie shot forward, quicklygwtting farther away from her cousin.

"You know, this isn't the right antidote," Melanie said with the aer of someone that knew more than any one.

"I'm alive," Ama said shakily, "Alyssa's alive.  Mom's alive.  Laurel's alive."

"You don't know anything, do you Sam?  We're not sisters. Merretta is not related to us in any way. You don't even know your real name," Melanie cackled.  "You probably don't even know that this is the wrong antidote, it only keeps everyone alive for a day after they take it, and only the Indliral antidote will save--" she stopped talking.   "Well, like I said, you don't know anything."

"I do," were Ama's only words, for she saved her breath for running back to her sister, her Aunt, and for years, thought-to-be mother.  She tried to remember the way back, but the absence of oxegen soon made her head hurt.  She plopped down onto the floor, clutching her head.

*Was her name changed to something that started with an A?

And, this will probably be continued.  The Indriral ((made that name up by typing randomletters and with vowels making it pronouncable)) antidote will save the waves life...

Thanks, Meadow! You are epic, did I mention that? Also, yeah, I think we changed her name to Althea, but nobody really followed up with it, so...

Ama walked back to Muretta, Alyssa and Laurel feeling weak and defeated. After telling them the news, she walked over to a corner and sat down, holding her head in her arms. She didn't cry. She didn't moan, sigh, or make any noise at all. Why? She wanted so badly to wail. To run away after Melanie and grab her and tackle her to the floor and scream at her to give them the Indriral antidote and take her Wraith friends and get away from her and her family and her life. To tell her that she was not her sister and she didn't want her to be. But she couldn't make a noise. She opened her mouth and nothing came out.

After a while Alyssa--her real, true sister that she had only known for a few hours--came over and put her arm around her shoulders. "Hey," she said. "It wasn't your fault. No one blames you."

Ama nodded. Her throat was getting tight. She felt a huge sob threatening to burst out of her and fought to hold it back. "I just feel-like I did-n't try hard-enough-to help you. Like I-I-" and then the sob forced its way out and she was wailing.

"Like I was-was-wasn't ever-ever-ever going to be a goo-good family member, like I-I messed up, like the Wrai-Wrai-Wraith is going-going to ki-kill us all and I can't do-do-do any-anything abou-about-about it! Like-like I'm-I'm supposed to be this-this gir-girl in this prophe-pro-prophecy that I don't-don't know any-anything about! Like I don't-don't know anything!"

Alyssa looked at her for a while. Then she smiled faintly and whispered, "It's okay. We'll find a way."

Suddenly Ama said, "what is this prophecy about, anyway?"

Laurel answered. "About the Amtheta*-"

"Wait!" Ama innterupted. "tha-that's my name!"

"I know," Laurel said gently. "it also speaks of the Ixchel*-"

Again she was interrupted, but this time not by Ama. A tall, evil-looking man was standing in front of them. "I've found you," the man said, and with a snap of the fingers, they were in a cage, all knocked out.

*Is this the correct spelling? Sorry, I forgot. Do you like how I wrote that? Then Dixon'll come in, with reinforcements, and...TOP!

((Were you talking about the antidote?  it's the Indliral Antidote.  And Ama is short for Ahtnamas, I believe.))

~~~~
Ama woke up for the second time finding herself somewhere Dixon had left her.  She did not know that, though.  A completely unneeded detail that was written.
Around her were white walls.  What they were made out of, Ama did not know.  The rough blankets she was sitting on, grey and woolen.  So were all the other empty things, or what she thought to be beds, as she woke up on one.
She quickly got to her feet, memories of Melanie and Laurel and Alyssa flooding back in to her mind.  And magic.  Magic. She could do magic. Ama smiled, but her smile turned into a frown as the feeling of dread flowed into her.  Where was her sister?  Her Aunt?  Her former mother?  Everybody?
She ran out of the door, into a darker room.  In the middle were the people she was looking for, surrounded by strangers.  Small, short, bearded people, dragons, mermen, dark, cloaked figures, even goblins.  But there were more than that.  More people, looking powerful or not so powerful.
Ama quietly and swiftly moved towards the familiar people she knew.  No one tried to stop her, instead they formed a path that closed after she passed through it. She made her way to her friends.
Kilhelm and Laurel were speaking to a familiar-looking man, Dixon.  Alyssa saw Ama and beckoned for her to come sit by her.  Ama did just that.
"What's this?" Ama asked her younger sister.  "A torture device reunion?"  She glanced at one of the many deadly weapons in the room.
Alyssa smiled, then answered vaguely, "Dixon brought these... creatures to add to our ranks.  Kilhelm and Aunt are thanking him."
Oh. OH!  So wait, Dixon is a friend, I didn't know that.  Or is he a triple agent?  Like both sides think he's helping them, and he's going to betray one side, even though they already think of him as a double agent?  This is weird.  Please help!
Ok great.  I just read through everything and that clears it up about Dixon.  I wondered.  But what about the guy who trapped them originally?  Was that Dixon?  If not, where did he go?  Well anyway:
The beasts which surrounded the friends were great fighters, Dixon explained.  They came from places that fought over everything, and so only the strongest survived.  They had state-of-the-art weapons, too: heat-seeking guided Wraith-directed missiles.  The missiles had been programmed originally to seek agents of the Wave, but Dixon had reprogrammed them in secret.  Some preferred to use spears and whips and bows and arrows.
As it turned out, Dixon had heard about the poisoned flowton and honeymilk.  He had filched a drop of the true antidote and analyzed it, then made more of it.  It was a rich purple liquid, very thick.  He had fed it to the captives as soon as they fell into his clutches.  They were safe.  He had also made a CGTEMUA, or Cleansing Generally Totally Effective Multi-Use Antidote, and distributed it among the captives in slender vials.  He said it would save them in most situations.  "You're a genius!" gasped Alyssa.  "Thank you, my dear," said Dixon modestly
Meanwhile, from tiny cameras in Dixon's contact lenses, the crew of the Wraith was watching the scene.  Melanie knew that everything was going according to her plan.  Dixon and all the others would fall into her trap.  Liessa wandered in, followed by Bastella.  "What's happening?" said Bastella.  Melanie began to explain.  Her earrings flashed becomingly in the sun...
So now, a note for the next poster - Laurel's screen starts beeping like mad, so she pulls it out and looks at it and sees what's happening.   But Dixon is watching.  And Melanie turns back the screen over there.  So now suddenly they're seeing each other!!!!
