You are a normal person, at least you think so. You are an orphan, and live in the orphanage called St. Pueblos. There, you learn and other things, but strange things often happen around you(this will vary by the person). One day, a mysterious figure burns the entire orphanage down, destroying the orphanage forever. One mysterious woman comes and gathers all of you, taking you through a portal into a strange realm full of magic called the Netherealm. WE WILL START AT THE SCENE RIGHT BEFORE THE BURNING TO GET TO KNOW EACHOTHER A BIT. The more powerful your power, the greater the drawback. (ex. You have the power to heal any wound, but you will lose a tiny tiny bit of your sanity every time you use it)

A few days have passed since we arrived here. Apparently, we were "first years" despite the fact some of us are older than the "second years". I closed my eyes and imagined the life outside these walls. There was much to explore in the Netherealm still. It's mysterious magic source in Soluna Lumadov, and the amazing creatures that live in the wild forests far beyond.

I should be out there exploring the world and having a life as a traveler. I thought, but if I were to encounter a city for food and water and shelter, most likely, they would kick me out for being one of the most dangerous people in the Nethrealm, being kicked out before.

I focus and call upon the Lagan, half-man, half-snake. He is also one of my most loyal servants. I favor him, not being able to die, but would act like percy jackson monsters if attacked with glass. Lagan can hide as much of his snakiness at will.

A snake slithers toward me, and quickly transforms a young man.

"Nice to see you again master." he hisses.

"Nice to see you too Lagan. I need to get out of here!" I replied.

He nods, and gets a black cloak on me. It would hide my identity if I got on the streets.

Quickly, Lagan bust open the window, and we fled into the alleyways of SOluna Lumadov.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think this would be a good conflict, but a better one would be recommended:
Soluna Lumadov is losing its magic, and people are getting very worried. Though, a prophet foretold that there will be some children that will find the true source of magic and bring it all back using the power of five lost objects. Those children could be us, and then we live happily ever after, and we may have to make some sacrifices.
Hanaa~
A flash and we're gone.  At least as far as I can tell.  When I open my eyes again, we're in a  whole different city altogether.  As far as I can tell.
I guess that's my life now.  I'm an orphan forever now, as far as I can tell.  Everyone hates me, as far as I can tell.  I'm trapped here now, as far as I can tell.  As far as I can tell.  Huh.
I walk near the back of the crowd as we enter the building we've been told is the orphanage or whatever here.  We each have our own room now.  I enter mine, and immediately glare at the camera.  I take a small switchblade out of my pocket and throw it at the camera lens.  I jump on top of my bed and pull it out.  I toss it on the desk.  I force the window open.  I don't care whether it's broken or not.
I don't want to be here.
My CAPTCHA says kunc.  What's crunchy?  Oh, I see, you're eating chips.
Jacob~
I watch the people, who have taken us to this supposed 'NAOPU'. I hate it here. It's like the orphanage, but worse. Obedience? Hah, don't make me laugh. Whatever the case, I find these people suspiscious and annoying.
I've already heard talk of leaving. I still have the dog-eared book from Miss Prissy. I look at it a bit sadly before getting up and going to my room.
It's harder to get out then it may seem. Cameras are everywhere. They really want us to stay in here. I go into a corner where the camera can't see me, and quickly slip a picture of my room onto its lens. Now, it'll just see a empty room, while I'm escaping through the window. I open the window up and climb down the building.
As I'm escaping into the streets of 'Soluna Lumadov', I think for a moment. The boy, shane, knew of this world and told us of powers in that world. It's obvious he has powers, and from how some of the kids reacted to him telling that story I think some of the other kids may have powers as well. That is a weird conicidence, seeing as there are not supposed to be kids with powers outside of Lumadov. I would suspect that all of us have powers, which would mean I have powers. But what powers? Are they based off personality, appearance, or just random? How could I figure it out, and how could I activate my power? Would I activate it due to instinct, in a dangerous situation? Well, it that would be the case, I might find out soon.
I walk around the familiar streets, and I look into the shops, hoping to find a few items that would be useful to my adventures about the source. I bought an atlas in exchange for a few coins I had left from my outcasting. Lagan was by my side in his human form and we looked inside the atlas. Of course it was incomplete, for certain sections of the Netherealm are constantly changing, and the Netherealm was vast.
I eyed the Soluna Lumadov section. It didn't show the interior of the old palace, because of course it is forbidden and highly guarded by the royalties. Could the possible source be there?
Before I could do anything, my eye caught something. Jacob? What was he doing outside of the NAOPU?
I eye the cameras out of the corner of my room. I can do only a couple in the corner. They must have thought I wouldn't be any trouble. I casually go to the door, and take the doorstop. I then aim and throw the doorstop at the first camera. Turns out that I'm not a bad aim. I leave the other camera so they can't see me but it doesn't seem suspicious.
I'm about to break the window open with a chair when I realize a hatch to simply open it. Splendid.
I crawl out and realize where I am. On the first floor, and near what seems to be a small town. Then I see another person.
I cautiously walk up to them but realize I've seen them at the orphanage.
"Er, hi," I say.
The boy looks at me. "I just needed fresh air."
"No- I'm not one of them. But I don't think we've met before. I'm Gloria."
"Jacob," he replies. "You went to the orphanage?"
"Yeah, but not for as long as others. But I was going to be there for a while. No one wants to adopt a teen, really."
He shrugs. "And now we're here."
I look around. "Yep."
Now we're in a place of no return.
I walk with my head down and a hoodie over my head.  I'm looking for anything interesting.  The security in this NetherRealm or whatever is realy good.  There are cameras everywhere, and I make sure I don't make eye contact with any of them.  It's bad to look suspicious, but it's even worse it you're a 12 year old girl who's supposed to be at an orphanage.  I glance into some of the store windows, trying to make sense of some of the things inside.
A voice behind me. "Hanaa?" I recognize it without a second of thought.  I whip around, and see the voice's owner.  Shane.
"Why are you here?" I growl.  "I'm out here to not be at the orphanage or whatever."
"You shouldn't be out here." He says.
"I know," I say.  I turn around and walk away.  "I know."
Foxie~
A repair man finally comes by. I swipe his keycard and silently head towards the elevator, acting like I'm wandering around blindly. I had put my book and walking stick in my parcel so I just look like a blind kid that's completely lost. I slink around the halls until I get to a door. I unlock it with the card. This room seems to be the room for ventilation security. Nobody's in here, so I hack into the computers and shut down all the security. Immediately, I make it so no one can have access to the room by ripping up the wires in the card scanners. I know my time is running out, but I want to have the security down for as long as possible, not just for me, but for anyone else who has a chance. Jumping into a vent, I prepare myself. As I crawl around, I try to remember the layout of this building. The man explained it in his stupid speach before, but I wasn't paying attention. Oh well, I'll just have to look around.
**Time skip**
It takes longer than I would like for me to find a good place for me to exit. So far I haven't run into any guards, but my luck changes as soon as I drop out of the vent. I get a glimpse of a guard on my way down, and there is no doubt they saw me too. I run towards the door to my right. I know it'll lead to the outside. A guard blocks it, and I have to go for my secondary root. Right out the window.
"Shoot her with the dart! Shoot her hurry!" I hear a guard shouting to another.
Great. They must have tranquilizer darts on them. I have to be quick. I hear a gun cock and a dart whizzes by, cutting my ear. My vision gets a little blurry. That one dart must have been able to get a little tranquilizer into me. But not enough. More darts fly past me as I leap out the window. Running for my freedom, I don't dare look back when I hear a car engine start. This can't be good.
**Time skip**
I'm running on pure adrenaline when the car starts chasing me. This is when I wish I have superspeed instead of mind powers. There is nothing around me but empty land for about a mile, then the city. I just have to make it to the city without being caught. This emtpy land makes me a target though. I've only made it a quarter of the way when a car zooms up to me.
"Hey! Blind girl! We don't want to hurt you!" A guard shouts.
"Who are you?" I ask, surprised that they still think I'm blind after being able to escape.
"Don't worry!" He shouts. "I'm just a guard, trying to help you." I see him pull out a gun with a smile on his face. He looks friendly enough, and I'm sure he is, but I'm not going back to that prison. I keep my eyes forward, so I look like I'm staring into the distance, but I keep him in my peripheral vision.
"I'm scared," I lie. "I can hear your gun. I don't trust you."
With a look of shock on his face, he sets the gun down. "What are you talking about?" He tries to cover it up.
"I know what you are trying to do, I'm not going back to that place. I've had enough of being caged. People think that just because I'm blind, I can't to anything," I mumble.
"Please, we are just trying to help. Think of this place as a school or a hotel instead of a prison."
"Have you been brainwashed? That place is awful!" I scream, starting to hear more cars from behind me, even a few motorcycles. I have to hurry.
"Just come in here and we can help you. You can be safe inside. This place is dangerous. Much different that earth."
"O-Ok. I guess I can go inside," I mumble, my brain racing, this is the only way he won't knock me out completely with a dart. I put my hands out, still acting like I'm blind, until he pulls me in. As soon as my feet touch the ground, I throw a hard punch at him. I am almost at the point where I need to use my powers, but I shudder at the thought of what happened last time. The guards in the back of the truck all aim their guns at me, but I can talk they don't have as much ammo as the guy in the front of the truck. Unfortunately, I have to knock out the driver and take the wheel. Someone comes in on the radio. "Truck number 56, is something going on? Truck number 56 come in."
Oops. Their onto me. The guards in the back of the truck shoot a few darts at me, but I dodge them all. I swerve the car violently to knock all the guards off their feet. Obviously, they don't stay down for long and begin shooting darts again. One of them hits my arm. I feel myself getting fuzzy as I jump out of the moving car, and run clumsily towards the city, which is only a few yards away. The guards in the car see the dart hanging out of my arm and are cheering quietly, smiles on their faces about catching a runaway kid.
I'm almost to the city boarder when I start to lose control. My knees are getting wobbly. If I'm correct, I only have about a minute before I lose consciousness completely. I yank the dart out of my arm, throw it at the guards in an act of defiance, and dash into the city. I hope some other people have escaped, and I hope that someone who escaped finds me before a guard does. Rounding a corner, I slip, and see the world go black right before I hit the pile of boxes in front of me.
