Unusual Things RP

You are a normal person, at least you think so. You are an orphan, and live in the orphanage called St. Pueblos. There, you learn and other things, but strange things often happen around you(this will vary by the person). One day, a mysterious figure burns the entire orphanage down, destroying the orphanage forever. One mysterious woman comes and gathers all of you, taking you through a portal into a strange realm full of magic called the Netherealm. WE WILL START AT THE SCENE RIGHT BEFORE THE BURNING TO GET TO KNOW EACHOTHER A BIT. The more powerful your power, the greater the drawback. (ex. You have the power to heal any wound, but you will lose a tiny tiny bit of your sanity every time you use it)

Name: Shane

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Power: To control the monsters of the Netherealm, but they are supremely sensitive to his emotions and can follow orders a bit too literally. This will be unknown to others and pretends it's really that he has yet to discover it.

Appearence: Short black hair i guess...

Personality: Has some anger issues and loyal to those he grows close to.

Other: Born in Netherealm so definitely has a power of somekind.

Oh I forgot, I would like for someone to ship their boy character with Foxie. I would like for someone to, but if nobody wants to I'll be fine. Oh, by the way, Foxie actually is quite sweet once you get to know her, so you don't need to be afriad about your cherrie being shipped with a cold little evil child. Thanks!

I eye Hannaa as she walks away into the market. Looks like we are escaping after all. I take Lagan with me as we leave the city. Near the border, we hear a car. Cars rarely travel to the edge. A girl was speeding along, and I recognise her as Foxie. Of course, she dosen't know the alleyways around here too well, and bumps into a pile of crates.

They toppled onto her, and I knew that luckily those will be filled with only frozen fish caught from the sea. The chasers were clearly guards from NAOPU, and quickly gave up at the sight of a Fang-tooth fish. They were poisonous, and although they can't kill you, they can give some bad bruises and a headache. I knew from personal experience.

After the NAOPU left, I signaled Lagan to the fish, and quickly searched the pile. With some plastic gloves we found nearby, we tossed the fish aside until we found Foxie. Luckily, she didn't touch any of the fang-tooths, and we dragged her out of the border and into the forest that bordered the west side of the city.

During my quest, one traveler had recommended me to search for glow-worms, who would glow brighter near the source of magic. If this was true, I had to catch a glow-worm in this forest. Unfortunately, they are not monsters, and only come out at night. I climbed a large tree with Lagan following closely behind, and dragged Foxie into our kind of hide-out. It was sort of a tree-house, but the tree was shaped perfectly that all we had to do was weave some strong branches between the branches. It was dome-shaped, and a perfect home to hide in. I went outside with Lagan to go hunting for some food. I knew that Lagan was about my age, but he didn't know his exact creation date. We caught a few rabbits and carried them back to the tree.

Lagan was actually never in my control, he and I grew up together and met when we were young in the streets. I would trust him with my life. When we returned, the sun was setting and Foxie was awake.

Jacob~

I stare at Gloria, studying her. She was at the orphanage, yes. I didn't know her well enough, she always stayed in her room. However, if she would be trying to rat me out, I would think she would be more nervous. I shake the suspiscious out of my head and grin.

"Well, we might as well explore," I turn my head to the busy street. "I don't think anyone would recognize us, and it's so busy anyways noone would notice us. Come on."

I steadly walk into the market, looking around. We seem to be at an ocean port, with forest to the left of us. Not waiting to see if Gloria was following, I jog to the edge of the town and into the forest.

There's a trail. If I was correct, Shane said something about monsters. We must be careful. I would stay in the city, except the NA-whatever would probably realize that about 10 of their kids were missing.

"Let's see if we can stay in a tree for now," I tell Gloria, who was still near me. She nodded and we began looking around.

"What about this one?" She pointed at a fairly large tree. It was straight and with little visibly footholes, but it was high enough that no monsters from below could reach us.

"Yes, but how do you suppose we climb it?" I look around. "Ah! I got it! We just climb onto this tree and then jump onto this one." I pointed at another tree that was more crooked and easy to climb. I jumped onto the tree, stumbling once in a while, but finally reaching the top. I get into a good position and jump to the destination tree.

"Okay, your turn!" I called to Gloria.

I climb up the tree after Jacob, and finally land on the same one he's on.

"Anyway," he says. "What did you do at the orphanage? I mean, weren't you mostly in your room or something?"

I shrug. "Music. I don't think I would have survived the orphange without music."

He nods slowly. "Cool."

I'm about to ask him what he did to fill his time when a huge light shines on us from above.

I look up, and a helicopter flashes a search light on us. We look below, but there are people that seemed to be from the building we were sent to.

"Get down from the tree!" a voice shouts from a loud speaker.

I look over at Jacob. "Now what?"

Ice Wolf, I think you should actually decide if Foxie decided to stay in the treehouse or not.

~Shane

When Lagan and I were in the middle of cooking, when we suddenly hear the chopping blades of a helicopter. Lagan went out onto one of the branches and hissed.

I followed Lagan out onto the branch, and the helicopter was shining it's light down onto a nearby tree. There they were, Jacob and Valery from the orphanage. They must've escaped too.

I immediately became furious at the NAOPU workers. None of us like it in there, why bring us back anyways? My thoughts went into the minds of every nearby monster. Soon enough, a rare Beast of Gevaudan came bounding from some bushes, abandoning it's target toward the tree. Two gargoyles who were standing guard in some nearby houses came flapping their way toward the helicopter.

"Get down from the tree!" a blaring voice came from the helicopter, a tint of worry in their tone.

The beast of gevaudan slowly climbed up the tree, steadily making it's way to the other orphans, looking at eachother in confusion and probably fear.

The NAOPU were getting their weaponry now, trying to attack the gargoyles, but they didn't have great aim from their angle.

"You should control your anger." Lagan hissed at me. His words calmed me, and allowed me to control the monsters in a more organised manner.

You can decide what to do. ;)

OK I will! Thanks Strom!

Foxie~

"Well, Mr. All Powerful Helicopter Man. I think I like my feet right here, thank you. Seriously, DON'T YOU THINK THIS IS A LITTLE, I DON'T KNOW, OVERBOARD. WE ARE LITERALLY KIDS. YOU DON'T NEED THE MILITARY GRADE WEAPONRY," I scream in annoyance.

As Shane starts leading an army of what looks like MONSTERS, I jump into the air and start taking over the minds of around a few dozen of the pilots and guards of the NAOPU. If I did any more I might go crazy, and gain more powers I would prefer not to have. I strain a little at the weight of around twenty minds on mine, but eventually I get it right and turn them on each other. I manage to confuse some of the other NAOPU troops by making their thoughts fuzzy (which requires a lot less energy and mental power.). Honestly, beads of sweat are forming on my forehead. The amount of focus all this needs is remarkable. Although, I'm beginning to like it. It kind of feels good to be able to have complete control, but at the same time this feels wrong.

Shane is doing an incredible amount of damage on the NAOPU troops, but you can tell we are both getting tired, but our anger definitely is fueling us. The more minds I take over, the more the edges of my vision turn gold, and I can tell my eyes themselves are turning gold. Panting heavily, I shut out every mind immediately. It's too much. It's too much. I feel overwhelmingly dizzy as I continue to fight. The gold around my eyes stays, and I take over those minds again. I am ready to be stronger this time.

I catch Lagan in the corner of my eye. Apparently, he has scales. Lots and lots of scales. But he's seen than I am not blind, and that I have more power than I prefer to have. I have to watch out. That guy could be trouble.

~Hanaa

I turn into an alley and look for a camera. As soon as I find one, I throw my switchblade at it and the lens breaks. It falls out, and I grab it. I shove it back into my pocket. Then I realize I should probably make sure I have enough to survive out here. I empty my pockets. A pencil, some folded paper, my switchblade, and a grimy quarter that's probably no good in this place. Perfect.

Jacob~

I stared at the helicopter, a growl deep in my throat.

Monsters, fighting. These monsters look like they would usually be harmful to humans, but they are specifically attacking the helicopter. So someone must be controlling them.

I stare at Gloria. No. Foxie. Maybe...Shane is staring specifically at a monster, some sort of scaley thing. Him. What is foxie doing? Then I see the soldiers fall down from the helicopter like they're controlled. That must be Foxie's power. They're losing, too. What is this feeling in my throat, and my eyes? My hands... The fur... I've gotta attack the helicopter to survive...

I leap onto the helicopter, roaring. I grab the edge and swing, biting at the soldiers. The helicopter is tipping! They are swinging out, some of them trying to grab onto me or shoot at me. I roar again, the helicopter swaying into the trees. I need to jump off this thing, it's gonna crash! I touple into the ground.

The fur is easing off of me. Suddenly I see Gloria's face above me.

"You turned, you turned into a snow leopard!" She says, her eyes wide.

"Wha? Oh yeah, I did," I yawn, a purr in my throat. wait, a purr?

I sent the gargoyles toward Jacob and (Gloria/Valerie IDK) as Jacob fell out of the helicopter. They quickly snatched those two away from the falling helicopter, and sent them up toward my tree. They placed them on one of the branches of the tree, then returned to the village to continue guarding.

I smiled thankfully at Foxie for helping. But she was kinda staring at Lagan, for he clearly hadn't donw anything to help. The truth is, the two of us stay close, no matter what.

Lagan peeked out of the leaves to check on the new arrivals.

"Are you guys alright?" he asked them.

I sighed, and looked at the cooked rabbit. There wouldn't be any surplus with the new arrivals. I got out my crude knife and cut the rabbit up for each of us.

I pass down the rabbit, and when the boy Shane asks why, I reply that I'm a vegetarian.

He shrugs. "Suit yourself."

I look away, slightly red, and when I do, I ha Jacob gasps.

I look back at him. "What?"

"You're invisible."

I panic and look down at my hands, and I can't see anything.

"You just got your powers?" someone asks. "Wow. I got mine a while ago."

I try to control it, and I end up reappearing again, to my relief.
