Once again, here's the new post!!!!
~~~~
"Can't you all come with us?" Skydash asks.
"Sadly we can't, It's part of the curse Nanna put on us. The minute we leave the island our winds stop working and we fall into the sea, where Mirtang is waiting." Berry sighs.
"Isn't their anything we can do?" Nightlynn asks.
"Well, you could get eaten by Mirtang, with a sword in your claws and cut him from the inside." Berry says, "But that wouldn't work, if he was out at sea the Caspers wouldn't be able to fly back home."
"What if Mirtang is the reason you can't leave the island? What if he's the curse?" Valley wonders.
Berry looks at Valley with her beak hanging open.
"That may be it! We always thought it was the island that holds the curse, but that would take to long to prepare!
But, working with a willing servant one could have the curse piggyback riding on the servant! It would be invisible unless you went into the Tirel......" Berry says to herself.
"Um, what's the Tirel?" Nika asks.
"Its a place where everything is but not." Berry says..
"That doesn't clear things up." Thunder growls crossly.
"Its... its. Where the magic is hidden. An alternate realm that is the same, but not the same. Entered through dreams. Where anything that's possible is possible but not." Berry rasps.
The gryphons look at each other, Berry's answer helped somewhat, but they were still not quite sure what it ment.
"I'm sorry to asks you this, but could you enter the Tirel and kill the curse to free my Caspers from Mirtang?" Berry asks.
"Let me get this straight, you want us to dream our way into a dream world, find Mirtang, kill the cures on it and free the trapped Caspers." Nightlynn says, "We'll be done in ten minutes."
"You're forgetting that you need to exit the Tirel then kill Mirtang. That's how you would free the Caspers." Berry says.
"Simple!" Nightlynn says.
"Will you do it?" Berry pleads.
The gryphons share a look, and nod their heads.
"Sure, tell us what to do." Skydash says.
Berry nods her head, then pulls down on a candle stick. The floor disappears beneath them, and they're sliding down a slimy stone tunnel to the center of the island. Soon they land with a bump into a cave, full of shinning algae. It was bare, except for a mat on the cave floor, big enough for five gryphons to lay down side by side. Berry quickly jumps up, and lights some candles that burst into purple flame, letting loose a nasty smell and filling the cave with purple smoke.
"Lay down on the mat." Berry growls to the gryphons.
They lay down, side by side, feeling really really stupid.
"Valley, you will need to help your friends enter the Tirel." Berry says she hands Valley a necklace, "Put the necklace on, you'll have a hour to complete your mission once you enter. If you stay any longer you'll get trapped in the Tirel. The necklace will lead you out, all you need to do is open that little latch and it will take you home. Now close your eyes, you'll soon enter find yourselves in this cave again, but unlike before you won't be in your bodies. Follow Valley, she'll be able to lead you through the hidden tunnels to the Tirel, whatever you hear, see, or smell don't stop following Valley. You'll know when you get their, a big number sixty will float over your head, this is your clock when it reaches zero you won't be able to leave. A bow with shining gold arrows will appear shortly after that, it will choose a champion to use it and kill the curse. I must also warn you, if you aren't chosen by the bow and you touch it you will be sent back here immediately. Good luck, more will be explained when you arrive."
Soon after Berry's words, the gryphons close their eyes. They open them a while later, they were laying with there eyes closed for five minutes! Something had to of gone wrong. They opened there eyes, and gasp. They were in the cave, that was certain, but unlike before it was full of tunnels. On the ceiling, floor, and walls. They were like black polka dots on gray fabric. The only safe place to stand was there little mat, that they were floating above. Looking down they could see there bodies, deep in an enchanted slumber.
"I'm, blue!" Nika gasps.
Indeed it was true, they all glowed with a watery blue light, there real feather colors all but disappeared in the blue.
Looking around, they saw on the walls grinning mouths, and erie  eyes, all a different color. The mouths were
laughing, filling the cave with their malicious laughter.
"Who will die!?" The mouths giggle.
"Yes, which one will fail were the others succeed?" They grin.
"Live gryphon, dead gryphon wich will it be?" There whispers fill the air, "One gryphon, two gryphon, all are there but three!!!!!! Giggle giggle giggle, ha ha heee!!!! Look at them shuffle there non existence feet, will we get them beat?"
"Don't listen to them!" Valley yells.
"You'll fail before you begin! Go ahead, jump back in!!! The only way out is to fail!" They chant.
The gryphons are all looking slightly green. They tried to ignore the whispers, but the words wormed there way into their head and took root in their brain.
"Valley, hurry up and find our path please!" Skydash says.
"Yes, the voices are getting to us." Thunder adds.
Valley looks around, trying to find something, anything! That will lead them to the right tunnel. Soon she finds a group of mouths whose mouth weren't moving above the tunnel directly above them.
"Follow me!" Valley yells, shooting up into the tunnel.
They follow her, and it leads to a plain cave, with three tunnels leading out. The horrible little voices has stopped. Looking around, Valley sees all her friends but one.
"Where's Nika?" Nightlynn asks.
Looking back into the tunnel, they see Nika standing still. They try and go back, to drag Nika up with them but the tunnel closes up so that they couldn't go back. Sealing Nika in the entrance cave.
"I'm sorry...." Nika's voice faintly goes about in the air.
Back in the awake world, Nika opens her eyes. Berry looks at her, and shakes her head sadly. Four gryphons left in the Tirel.
Andd here's our new post!!!!!!
~~~~

"NIKA!!!" Valley yells. They couldn't loose Nika! Nika was their friend, their leader at training, and the one who's idea it was to help the Caspers in the first place.

"It's no use, we'll have to go one without her." Skydash says gently.

"OK, I just hope she's all right." Valley sighs.

"Where should we go?" Nightlynn wonders.

"I think we should just take a tunnel, and see what happens." Valley says.

She leads her friends down the middle tunnel they follow single file behind her, into the dark tunnel. Soon they break into the light, in the same room as before!

"WE WERE JUST HERE!" Thunder roars.

"Maybe, maybe not. After all this world is different than ours." Skydash says.

Valley looks around, trying to see if it was indeed the same room that they had left.

"I don't think so...." Valley says, "If it was the same room the tunnel would have to of turned around, I didn't feel anything like that."

"So, what are we going to do?" Nightlynn asks.

"We're going backwards." Valley says, turning to go back into the tunnel they entered the cave. Skydash stops Valley from doing so.

"Why are we going to do that?" Skydash asks.

"Look closely, don't those shadows over the tunnels look like a cross skulls? If we go that way, failure is sure to come." Valley explains.

Taking her advice, the gryphons look more closely at the shadows, revealing that what Valley said was true. A cross skull was found over each entrance. They follow Valley back into the dark tunnel. Soon they begin to feel the tunnel slop downwards.

"Wasn't it smooth when we were going through the tunnel first?" Nightlynn wonders.

"My guess is that there is a ramp that leads down, that's what we're on. The ramp was designed so that gryphons would walk right over it, and then into the tunnels of doom at the end. But when you're coming back, you walk onto the ramp and down." Skydash says.

"Or this just appeared out of thin air." Valley calls back.

Valley thought causes the gryphons to go silent, how could something just appear out of thin air? They walk through a tremendous amount of caves and tunnels, up, down, and even on the side. But they never entered the Tirel.

"This is hopeless! Valley why don't you open your necklace and we can return." Thunder growls.

"Because we're there." Valley answers back.

They leave the tunnel, exiting out on a hill. The hill was covered in dark purple grass, with the light green sky above. The sun was bathing the gryphons in a gray foggy light. Looking down at the foot of the hill was the jungle. The plants were dark colors, ranging from purple to blue. Huge trees held strange misshapen birds that were perching in the branches. The clouds were gray, and falling- no floating down- was a golden bow with silver arrows. Almost at the same time, a big gassy, purple number sixty appeared over their heads. The bow lands on the ground, the arrows falling around it.

"I think that's the bow Berry was talking about." Thunder says.

"So, how is it going to choose some one?" Skydash asks.

"The, the bow just told me." Nightlynn said.

Her friends stare at her with mouths gapping.

"Um.... Nightlynn are you feeling OK?" Valley asks.

"I'm feeling fine!" Nightlynn snaps, "The boy said his name is Jack. And he would like to be called that."

The bow lays on the ground, not making any sign that it was saying those things. Not even an arrow twitched. Nighlynn walks over to where the bow is laying and picks it up. suddenly the bow jumps out of Nighlynn's talons and floats on its own accord. The arrows appear in a quiver on Nightlynn's back.

"Thank goodness you picked me up! It took the last of my strength to get here, and then asks for Nightlynn to pick me up." The bow says.

"You're a floating, talking bow." Valley says.

"Yes I am! But if you want to go and kill that curse on Mirtang then you should get a move on, only fifty nine minutes remain. And please call me Jack." Jack says.

The numbers over their heads had indeed changed from sixty to fifty nine, and then to fifty eight as they watched.

"Never mind! You have fifty eight minutes left!" Jack says cheerfully, following the gryphons as they run into the woods, making their way to the shore.

Chapter Fourteen~~ The Tirel

The gryphons were only in the Tirel for five minutes but they already officially hated it. A big green beetle like bug lands on Nightlynn.

"Grrrg! If I have to smack ONE more bug off me I will go back into the real world." Nightlynn growls.

"They like your black feathers, they think you're a flower." Jack informs Nightlynn breezily.

"Great, I'm a flower." Nightlynn grumbles, smacking another bug off her wings.

"At least you aren't covered in them." Thunder says crossly, shaking off an impressive amount of beetles, butterflies, and various bugs.

Instead of flying away, the bugs decide that they like Nightlynn better.

"ARRRG!!!!!" Nightlynn yells, giving herself a good shake off.

"Shhh! You guys don't want to attract some unwelcome attention do you?" Skydash says.

"Too late! About half of the plants are watching your progress through the jungle!" Jack says happily, "Hopefully they won't eat you."

The plants, who looked like plants, suddenly changed. Instead of plain plants, they looked like huge mouths, with sharp teeth and salivating jaws, ready to swallow a poor gryphon whole.

"Umm, nice plants." Valley says carefully.

The plants glare at them, unimpressed. Quickly the gryphons run, opening their wings to fly to safety.

"OH! By the way I forgot to mention to you that you can't fly here." Jack shouts.

"DOG BREATH!" Thunder growls.

The gryphons run as fast as they can, dodging around whipping vines and lashing plants following Valley as they run to the shore line. A plant drops down in front of them, the gryphons doge the plant, streaming past it like water around a stone. The roots seemed to be on the plant's side, erupting uo to trip the gryphons as they ran. One such root lifted up, and tripped Thunder. Before she could get up and run, a plant whipped down and swallowed her. Suddenly the jungle was quiet. Not plant was trying to eat them, the roots went back under the ground where they belong, and the vines stopped whipping. All was still.

"Don't worry, your friend will be fine! She's just woken up. We should continue onwards to the shore, we only have forty five minutes left." Jack says.

Back in the awake world, Thunder's eyes pop open. Nika and Berry are enjoying a nice fruit snake. Thunder goes over to join them. Three gryphons left in the Tirel.

The gryphons soon broke free from the damp moist jungle, to the shore beyond. The sand was a gray color, while the ocean was dark blue and filled with strange things. The ocean stretched on for miles, it looked to be even bigger than the real one.

"How are we supposed to find Mirtang if we can't fly out to sea?" Skydash wonders.

"SACRIFICE!!!!" Jack exclaims gleefully.

"And that means?" Nightlynn asks.

"One of you must go out into the bay, and call Mirtang, and then let yourself get eaten. Then the last two can hop onto his back and make the journey to the curse." Jack says, "So who is going to be the sacrifice?"

The gryphons look at each other. Is this the only way? Isn't their another way to do it?

"Is there another way?" Valley asks.

"Nope! But don't worry, the eaten gryphon will just wake up in the real world." Jack says.

"I'll do it. And don't try and argue. Nightlynn is the only one who can handle Jack, and Valley as the necklace that will take you home." Skydash says, squashing any arguments before they can begin.

"EXALENT!!!" Jack grins.

And five seconds later, Skydash is in the bay, dancing with a fruit hat on her head, and a grass skirt.

"Is this really necessary?" Skydash growls.

"Nope, but you look silly." Jack says, safely up on the shore where Skydash can't get him.

Soon the sun starts to set, and their clock reads twenty minutes left. Then, a dark shape fills the bay. And a huge body is seen through the waves. Soon he opens his mouth, and spraying water everywhere he swallows Skydash whole.

"Move! MOVE!!!" Jack yells, pushing Nightlynn and Valley towards the great beast.

They hop onto Mirtang, just in time. His skin is leathery, and surprisingly soft. Quickly they're submerged underwater, with nothing but Jack's assurance that they would stay on his surging body and still be able to breath.

When Skydash opens her eyes, she sees Nika, Berry, and Nightlynn about to play Go Fish. Skydash stands up, and goes to join the game. Two gryphons left in the Tirel.

And our new post! Who will survive the Tirel!?!?!?

~~~~
At first the only thing Valley and Skydash could do was stare with open mouths at the fish in the water. The faint glow of Mirtang's skin light up the ocean around them, were they saw schools of fish. Some of the fist were tiny, no bigger than an acorn, but they were a bright blinding red. Others were as big as the gryphons, shinning light blue on top, and dark blue on the bottom. Yellow and purple strippy fish dashed about, long and thin like a tree branch, making races with all the other fish. As they went deeper into the ocean, the bright fish peeled away, till they were floating in the dark blue ocean at the bottom of the sea.
"Guys, no time for sight seeing. We only have thirty five minutes left, and this is a big creature. The curse will be at the head." Jack snaps, bring the gryphons out of their socked silence.
"Right." Nightlynn says.
And they ran, Nightlynn in the lead with Valley close behind. They kept silent, saving their breath for running. Sooner than they thought possible they're at the head. And their, sitting at the edge is the curse. It looked frog like, but bigger, much bigger. If it was standing up, it would rise a good head over Nightlynn. It was black and gooey, with purple on it like bruises. Slowly it turned around to look at them. The eyes were pure white, nothing in them, and the mouth was hidden in it's swirling body. That was when battle raced forth. The curse stood up, and a viney tendrill shot towards them.
"DODGE IT!" Valley yells, jumping to the side.
Nightlynn doged it as well, leaving the creature growling in annoyance. Soon more tendrills were shooting towards them, and time stopped mattering as they ducked dodged and weaved around the tendrills. Nightlynn all the while trying to make it to Jack so she could end the curse, once and for all. Soon the tendrills become to much, Valley jumped into one while dodging another. It wrapped around her in savige glee. Valley ripes her necklace off, as the curse tightens Valley, stopping her wind pipe. Then, Valley exploded in a cloud of black dust. All was silent for a while, during that time Nighltynn finally got to Jack.
"NOOOOO!" Nightlynn yells, and draws a golden arrow.
Valley's eyes pop open, and she gasps, breathing well for the first time. She looks over, Berry is smiling. Thunder frowns and hands over some fruit, it seems that Thunder lost the game to Berry, and she got some of Thunder's fruit as a prize. Valley sees for the first time a book shelf, and goes over to read an interesting book. One gryphon left in the Tirel.
So sorry I didn't post yesterday! Here's our new post!
~~~~

Nightlynn's arrow flies straight to the curse, humming in the air towards where the heart would be. Nighltynn's aim was true and it sunk right into where the heart would be. A terrible sound fills the air. A symphony of terror and anger fills the air. The curse disappears into a flash of blinding white light, by the time Nightlynn's vision is hampered by the black dots, but soon it stops and she can see. Water is pouring in, through invisible holes in the air bubble.

"QUICKLY!!! WE MUST LEAVE!" Jack yells.

Nightlynn jumps into action, she grabs Valley's necklace before it can be washed away into the dark waters beyond and puts it on. She opens it up, and swirling golden dust surrounds her, just as the clock turned to zero. Purple fog covers Nightlynn's view, with flashes of gold in their. And then everything goes dark.

Nightlynn could hear faint noises in the background, it sounded like words. Where was she?

"Nightlynn! Nightlynn! Can you hear me? Please wake up!" A voice yells.

Nightlynn opens her eyes, and closes them again. Bright blinding light was in the room with her.

"Nightlynn, you have to wake up!" The voice snaps.

Nightlynn opens her eyes and keep them open, everything is fuzzy like she has a film over her eyes. A sneeze gets her, and golden dust flies out of her nose.

"That's it. Cough it all up." Berry says.

"Are you OK? What happened?" Valley asks.

"I'm fine, just a bit fuzzy headed," That was not true, Nightlynn had a pounding head ache. "I killed the curse and opened the locket to come back."

"You where cutting it very fine their. We had to tug you out, and I'm still not sure if you left anything behind when you left." Berry growls.

"Pull me out?" Nightlynn wonders.

"We saw your eyes fluttering, and you where jerking, so Berry said we needed to pull you out." Nika says.

"Yes, it was rather hard. You didn't want to come out." Thunder growls.

"Oh." Nightlynn says.

She looks around for the first time, they were in Berry's house. She was laying on a couch she stood up and sat down. That was when she saw the golden bow in the corner, with a quiver of silver arrows beside it.

"Jack!?" Nighlynn gasps.

The bow hums happily, it was Jack he came back with her.

"Yes, he came back with you." Berry says.

"That's great!" Nightlynn says, her own bow and arrows with her quiver fell off during the storm, now she had a bow again.

"Get up! Let me look at you." Berry says.

Nightlynn gets off the couch, and stands up so that Berry can look at her. Berry went around her, poking and prodding through Nighltynn's thick feathers to see if she had lost anything.

"Oh dear." Berry murmurs.

Nightlynn look down, and almost had to sit on the couch again. There, hidden in her thick neck feathers was the silver necklace. It had fused itself to her skin below the feathers, and the locket winked merrily at her in the candle light.

"That is to be expected. Sometimes when you return when your time runs out you loose something, or that happens," Berry explains. "Nothing to worry about, you'll be fine."

"You mean besides having a permanet piece of jewelery stuck on me?" Nightlynn says, socked.

"Yes, besides that," Berry says with a grin. "Now you need to go and kill Mirtang."
