RPing has been getting a bit boring lately. People aren't trying as hard, and, since it's only done for fun, our writing skills aren't being exercised as much. A contest would challenge us and really make us work hard on our entries.
How it works:
This contest will be categorized by genres. Everyone will tell us their top three choices for which genre they want to do, then it’ll be assigned by us. Four people will be in each group, and we’ll make all the threads in BaB because BaB isn’t as active and won’t be as clogged up. You get to choose your own groups, so feel free to sort that out in this thread. Please commit! The RPs will finish in four weeks, so plan your time accordingly!
The genres are as follows:
Fantasy
Science Fiction
Horror (Are you sure the Admins will allow this?)
Realistic Fiction
Historical Fiction
Mystery
Once your groups are formed and the genres have been decided, we recommend making a planning thread to sort out what you want to do with your RP.

Claaws, we get it if you have some spelling errors in your posts. It wouldn't be fair to take off points for that, considering you're dyslexic. I'm absolutely positive somebody wants you in their group, but if you really think you don't have the time, you can of course drop out.

Should I make a thread on BAB for the fantasy RP or are we still waiting for everyone to join and get assigned? If there are too many peeps for fantasy and not enough for Realistic fic, I'll be happy to switch over if necessary.
