She staggered into
She staggered into her old home, looking around. In short, it was bewildering. New faces ran about in the streets, all calling to one another happily.
They didn't know. It was better that way, she knew, but it still hurt not to have her and her friends' names called out instead. These new neighbors, should have been her friends too.
But instead, she had chosen to tear up her roots, and try and hide her broken heart again. She had to drop by, and say hello. Ask how everyone was doing.
And make it alright. If she just came back once; not to stay, but to say hello, to make it feel better. It still hurt, that much was obvious.
It would never stop hurting, but some things might deaden the pain a little; rust the edge of the sword. Some things like extending a hand in friendship once more. With some, she had already.
But she had to extend this to the place, too. They would welcome her back, it was true. But they had rebuilt without her, and it felt so, very different.
Now, she was ready to make peace, and lay all of the old ghosts of the pasts to rest. And with that, she stood up on the soapbox, and yelled, "So, how are you all doing?"

"CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Yelled a voice, and a silver figure rushed out of the crowd and tackled Cho. Inktail hugged for a second before releasing poor Cho.
"I missed you!!" The girl with the silvery hair replied. Inktail looked closer at Cho, boring into her blue eyes. (Blue? Or brown? She didn't know.) Cho was smiling but she looked...sad. Overwhelmed even.
"I'm doing fine." Smiled Inktail, and gave Cho's hand a final squeeze before releasing it and melting back into the crowd.

Cho smiled to herself as her friend disappeared. She seemed to know how she felt. It was good to make up with the place, as well as with the people, but it was much better to have close friends who understood.

CHO! Oh my gosh, it's so good to have you back, even if it's just for a little bit. I wasn't super active when you left, so you probably don't remember me, but I remember you. In answer to your question, I'm doing fine. Happy that Lent is almost over. Fun fact: When I first got on the CB, I saw your name and thought Oh, I guess she named herself after Cho Chang from Harry Potter. After I had been on the CB for a while, I was reading one of the Harry Potter books with Cho in it. When I saw her name I thought Holy cow! This book character has the same name as the CBer Cho! Oh wait, the CBer must have named herself after the book character.

Lol, I can see that happening. I have to say, though, it is SO weird to read Harry Potter now ... I always perk up whenever I see my/her name.

What are you doing for Easter? My family went to the vigil last night. We had an Easter breakfast this morning, and some of us went to Mass again. My father just got back, so we're probably going to do an Easter egg hunt soon. We might die eggs as well. (Normally we do it on Holy Saturday, but we forgot to do it yesterday) We're also going to my grandmother's house for dinner.

We dyed eggs, went to our church's sunrise service, and had an egg hunt at home as well as at church. I had lots of fun. (And one of my guy friends told me I looked nice. (!!!))

I remember when I was on a Harry Potter SI and I was playing Cho Chang. Youe just, like, dropped in and looked at the post and commented and I was like, "OH MY GODS AND GODDESSES OF THE CB. CHO CHANG JUST POSTED!"
