She staggered into

Chatterbox: Inkwell

She staggered into

She staggered into her old home, looking around. In short, it was bewildering. New faces ran about in the streets, all calling to one another happily.

They didn't know. It was better that way, she knew, but it still hurt not to have her and her friends' names called out instead. These new neighbors, should have been her friends too.

But instead, she had chosen to tear up her roots, and try and hide her broken heart again. She had to drop by, and say hello. Ask how everyone was doing.

And make it alright. If she just came back once; not to stay, but to say hello, to make it feel better. It still hurt, that much was obvious.

It would never stop hurting, but some things might deaden the pain a little; rust the edge of the sword. Some things like extending a hand in friendship once more. With some, she had already.

But she had to extend this to the place, too. They would welcome her back, it was true. But they had rebuilt without her, and it felt so, very different.

Now, she was ready to make peace, and lay all of the old ghosts of the pasts to rest. And with that, she stood up on the soapbox, and yelled, "So, how are you all doing?"

Cho Chang, it's wonderful to have you drop by. So, how's life? Ok, I know what your thinking: who is this person? I am (was) Tuxedo Kitten. Even if you don't remember me it's ok, I still welcome you back.

Have you been drawing or writing lately? How's... China? I don't remember where you moved but I hope the move went well.

Ok, one more question: what have you been watching lately? Any diamonds in the rough? My family are going to watch Moana, so I gotta go. *spocks* May the force be with you and may you eat potato chips forever in Asgard and make friends with the elves in Mirkwood?

First reaction: Wow, your writing has certainlly improved, Tux/Rohan!

Yup, I've been doing both a lot lately, and both are steadily improving. :DD

We actually managed to get the move pushed off (To Japan) so I'm still in the States as we speak. (Write? I dunno. XP)

I've mostly been watching Survivor (A reality/game TV show) as of late, and hope to start PotC soon. Super excited for that. If you're looking for a little known movie which is AWESOME, I would suggest Willow. George Lucas directed it. ^^ The. Best. Movie. Ever. (Yes, better than Star Wars, no joke.)

Why thank you Cho Chang! *bows*

Was it disappointing to have your move pushed back, or no?

I looked Willow up and it sounds very interesting! I mean, if it is better than Star Wars I will definitely have to watch it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Whirl Wind say "grcy". Sounds like Gracie! (My nick name irl)

We needed it done, and I'd like to stay in NC or move to WA. But instead, we're moving to Japan. Hey, it'll be an adventure.

@Cho

I don't know if somebody's already asked this, because I didn't have time to read through all the posts, but how's Daisy?

I do remember you, Dandelion! I remember pretty much everyone who I've ever talked to though, so you don't have to worry. :)

Sadly, since I am not thirteen, I can't join NaNoWriMo.

I said YWP (Young Writers Program) NaNo. So, even though you are not thirteen, you could join! We CBers have a classroom from last November that you can join. If you'd like, I can dig up the class code for you. ;)

Heya Cho! It's great to hear from you again. :D

How's your little brother settling in? I bet it could be rather off-putting to be adopted right in the middle of moving preparations! (unless he's, like, a baby. Then . . . I doubt it's off-putting xD  )

What about Coco? How's she?

And how in the world are you? I've missed you! What has the CB-less Cho been up to since she left? I'm dying to know!

Feather and Dev say hi.

Yup, because we got him on the second day of his life. ;)

Coco is doing fine, and she say thanks for asking about her.

I'm doing alright, but it took me three months to get over leaving. Y'know, I still don't think I'm doing fine in that respect. It was so bad that I had a hard time writing for a while. My AEs would say hi, but I'm afraid ... that they all died. Well, Pinkie and Elsa are lingering, but Thorn disappeared promptly after I left. The girls don't like coming out very much now.

I've been working on a scrapbook, a Lego castle, finishing that charrie sheet book o'mine. (Which really had progressed since its awful beginning)

So, yeah. I'm hanging on.

YOU'RE MOVING?!?!?!?! Wow, really? Is this a prank? Will you still be able to go on here? I wish I could send you my experience but that would take to long to type and I gotta go to school soon. Best wishes Cho.
