A portal opened up before us, showing the past. There I was, taking the cookie from Kiwi. Behind me was the blurry outline of a glowing pheonix. My eyes filled with hope. If there's one thing that I know about pheonixes, it's that they tend to show themselves at random times, in the past, present or future, whether they are actually there or not. Ignit will rise! I turned and fled in the direction of the two pedestals. Glowing faintly in one of them was Ignit's feather. In my exitement I shattered the glass dome over the feather with my paw. I grabbed the feather, warm in between my teeth. Swerving this way and that to avoid the trees, I made my way to the clearing with Ignit's ashes. After dropping the glowing golden feather in the ash, I covered it hastily. Slowly, a warm red glow wafted up from the ashes. Then, fire exploded up from the grey flakes, consuming me as well. I shelided my face from the flames, but they did not burn me. Kiwi entered the clearing and was consumed as well right a pheonix flew up from the pyre and sang out his song of triumph. I looked up at Ignit, happiness gleaming in my eyes. The fire did not hurt me, but I could feel it tearing my beastly flesh away, revealing the CBer that I am underneath, and I know it is doing the same to Kiwi. I just hope she isn't scared...

@Kiwi who are you? I'll reveal immediately after you.

MAJESTIC TOP!!

Yay! This is back! Kiwi? Was that you topping the thread? 

~A shower of drenched Top hats rained down on the inferno, extinguishing the blaze. The majestic beast shouted, barely audible in the noise,

“Was that you?”. Kiwi looked up from her tightly curled ball and nodded. The flames had melted her anonymity shield away. The majestic beast had also melted into a CBer, but the two were too far apart to recognize each other.  As the fire died away, Kiwi’s wings turned into a cloak, her fairy attire into a jay dress. She stood up in the mess of charcoal and hats, and made her way over to the CBer. Their sooty form was hard to make out. Stardust? Darkking? She couldn’t quite tell.

“Jwyn?” The CBer questioned unbelievingly, staring at her. Whirlwind materialized beside her and Clue, who was still perched on her shoulder, morphed into her human form. The former majestic beast’s memory suddenly hit them and they recognized the cat and the girl as Elliana and Inkling. The CBer wiped their face on their sleeve and Jwyn grinned. She’d seen those eyes before. Her eyes adjusted to the smoke, and she saw...~

I could barely believe it. Jwyn! My friend! My memories came flooding back. I looked at Jwyn, dumbfounded. I smile. Then without warning, Jwyn runs up to me and embraces me.

"Rogue! Rogue Wildling!" I hug her back. All is well, now that we are our normal CBer selves again. We break away from each other and stare up at the phoenix. He's hovering in the air, smiling as he watches us.

"Glad to help." Ignit states with a smile, then he soars off into the blue.
