So should we have just skipped forward in time to October 31st because that is the day before the MadrianaGusic? I will post when I have an answer. Oh and I meant to post before but unfortunately someone restarted the computer so I lost about two or three paragraphs of writing.

Lizzy-Wow, that's bad that you lost all your writing! Hopefully you will be able to write it again. Yes, I figured that we could skip forward to the MadrianaGusic. I was hoping that it would persuade everyone to start writing again! :-)

Elizabeth M.-Welcome back! We've missed you!

Yes, good idea and could we somehow order it where it's like Posts for Monday Games and so on...?

I am going to try to post more! At least this is at the top again.

Sounds good to me! Why don't we start on Tuesday? That way, people who are on vacation for the Fourth of July will be able to see this. And so that they have a chance to post! Okay? Meanwhile, we'll keep this thread at the TOP TOP TOP!!!

Um... Princess P.? What do you mean? Because I don't want to miss the Monday Arts and Theater day! Also, I may have trouble getting on on that weekend... I'm not sure!

Well, since in the USA, our country's birthday is this weekend (Monday is the Fourth of July), most people might be busy this weekend. But I think that lots of parents have to work on Tuesday, so if there are any CBers that are on vacation for the holiday, they will probably be back by then. So...I thought that we could maybe start the GenkuSuh week on this coming Tuesday. Does that make sense? Sorry if I wasn't clear enough the first post. :-)

Everyone please comment and tell me what you think of this plan and if you are going to be posting next week! We don't want anyone to miss the MadrianaGusic!

Yay, today is the day we start again! I actually had a better idea than my first one. :-)    Since lots of people are pretty busy around now, why don't we take a week in "our time" to post for one day in "GenkuSuh time"? That way, everyone has enough time to write (and post!) their posts. Okay? So...I should probably say, "GenkuSuh resumes...this week!!!" In other words, this whole week (today through Saturday) we will be posting on the first day (Monday) of the MadrianaGusic!

Everyone, PLEASE POST AS YOUR CHARACTER TO KEEP THIS AWESOME THREAD ALIVE!!!!

Okay, that's a really good idea, though I have trouble getting on on the weekends sometimes, so I might have to post a little into the next week. I'm going to write my post in a minute!

Can we say they arrive there a day or two before it starts?

Alamea-

Thedrive to MadrianaGusic took over an hour. I sat next to Lily, Kataira, Eli andCallen on the ride there. The bus was loud and hot. The boys had luckily takenthe back seats so we got some peace and quiet. The bus pulled up and we piledout in front of the palace FyriSayah.

“QUIET!”Mrs. Hale blew a whistle and everyone stopped talking.

“Now,”she continued, “You will all take your bags and follow the man [she pointed toa large man in a grey suit] to your rooms. The rooms are larger than yours atGenkuSuh, so ten to a room.”

I heardsome excited whispers in the crowd as we walked up the shining polished whitemarble steps.

“Hello.I am going to read off from these cards and then those rooms follow the peoplewho beckon to you.” The man had blond hair, tan/pale skin and a thick accent.

“Thefirst room: …”

“Oh mygosh! Isn’t this exciting!” Kataira exclaimed from behind me.

“Iknow! And the palace… It’s magnificient!” I put in.

Thepalace was. It was a creation from all white marble and gold. It shone in theburning sun.

Thegates were high and made of pure gold. A large marble wall spread around thecastle and its grounds. High towers and domes rose up from the palace, one withthe flag of Kyriah.

“Room4: H. (Kat only put H. as her last name… Should we make one for her?), Abishag,Kaai, Tahan, Inglecton, Abishag, Bunko, Saerean, Jimshah. Follow Miss.Lukamimnos.”

Irushed up to the front. I couldn’t believe our luck. Sixteen and Fourteen hadbeen put together!

Wefollowed a woman with bob brown hair, dark tan skin and a slightly pointy nose. She showed us through a small side gate. Her outfit was sky blue and brightercompared to the man outside. The sky blue clothing was made up of a knee lengthdress, matching cardigan and light blue pumps.

We madeour way through side corridors that I won’t take the time to explain. Miss.Lukamimnos explained that we would get a tour some other time. Finally we cameto a door. It was numbered with a large golden four. “If you need anything, ring the bell.” She walked off.

“Wow.”All nine off us exclaimed when we walked in.

Theroom had beautiful woven tapestries all over the walls. The shone and glitteredin the sun. Ten beds (five on each wall) were lined up. They all had tightlyfolded white sheets and a brass lamp over them. A balcony looked out on thewest garden. The window let in light and made the room seem even bigger. Asmall door led to what looked like a bathroom. In one corner, quite a ways fromthe beds was a marble fire place with a blue sofa and a few arm chairs. Anothercorner held a rack for our bags.

I sighedand took the bed between Lily and Jasmine.

TheMadrianaGusic had come.

Yay! This thread is now alive again! Thanks, Elizabeth!

I like your idea of resuming before the MadrianaGusic actually starts. Maybe this week we could write about the day before the MadrianaGusic, and next week we could actually start the competition. What do you think?
