Kyngdom Survival Guide

Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ Power of Fin

Map Fragment #3

Map Fragment #3

Friends, after days of sailing on flood waters, some of the tunnel explorers and I have literally just washed up on a strange beach. I'm too hungry and thirsty and sunburnt to tell you the full story right now, but here are the basic facts:

The badger is no longer with us. When the Giant Ground Sloth emerged, he gasped and ran toward the pit. It seemed the two were old friends from the days the tunnels were the Power of Claw outpost. The old badger threw himself down into the pit and caught onto the huge beast's fur. It looked like he was trying to hug it. But I'm not sure the Sloth recognized him. There was a tussle and a roar, and then a massive amount of water rushed up from beneath and overwhelmed us.

Either the drill or the Giant Ground Sloth must've opened some kind of underground reservoir beneath the Labyrinth Lands. The underground reservoir flooded the tunnels, the Labyrinth Lands, and everything within sight.

Sprocketville, my hometown just southeast of the Labyrinth Lands, was built to withstand devastating attacks of all kinds, but I'm a little worried about how long my family's supplies will last...

Anyway, it's a miracle my phone camera still works! But thank goodness it does, because we found a map on the beach, and I suspect it'll be of some use:

Someone throws some type of seed to the birds but they ignore it. Someone else throws some dead somethings... to them & the black 1 goes for it but the white 1 ignores it.After many unsuccessful attempts driftwood washes up on the beach and finally the white 1 gets some food...

Hi people... first, some things about myself.

My parents are professors at the Brazien Inquiry Guild. I was born an Animagicker, or a preson who can transform into any beast they touch. My mother wanted me to become an animal and spy on you but I refused. I was cast into this mysterious part of the forest, Yerennem, where I found refuge.

I have come to help, since I recieved word of this event when my white dove pet/friend/advisor/messenger Snowflake returned from a very long journey through the forest.

If you need a new adventurer, simply call my name to the wind and I will arrive by midnight.

P.S. If you don't believe me you can send me an animal witness and I will prove it.

P.P.S. Also in search of a new home as well as adventure.

Hello! You can post this on the Who's Here thread if you want. It's where people describe their characters.

I travel deeper and deeper into the murky dark forest teeming with deer and other hoofed animals of all shapes and sizes (must have the power of hoof!), for once ignoring the fact that the frightened animals were leaping away in astonishment. As I closely avoid falling into a bog, I notice a dirty letter half sitting, half floating next to it (or on it, can't tell). I pick it delicately off the ground and notice that it is adressed... to... *squints and tries to decipher writing* Eternal?

But it's in my father's pawwriting (wolf handwriting) and I was the only living wolf pup in the litter.

Anyways, I gently pry open the envelope as if it might explode. Inside is the following letter:

Eternal, I am writing this at the BIG and am working there too. It is extremely *****(mud smears) living in these conditions, and hope you will come too, as your abilities will be very useful in BIG's triumph over Kyngdom (no way!) I hope you are living well, and your mother and I miss you very much. Dad

Thoughts race through my mind as I run to eastern Kyngdom. The moment I am at the bay, I think to myself, My real name is Eternal?? My parents worked at BIG all along?

I sink to the ground in a dead faint, my father's letter lying next to me, just barely being drenched by the ocean's waves.

I balance precariously on a cliff that hangs over BIG laboratory. No biggie for a wolf like me, I say to myself, trying not to have a panic attack. Even if I'm not going to do anything helpful, be captured, etc., etc., I still want to at least know if the BIG is going to atttack anyone from Kyngdom soon.

*Cowardly BIG, stunning animals before they nab them!*

I (intentionally) sprout a massive pair of wings and leap off the cliff, scattering pabbles everywhere. The exhilarating winds push me faster than ever and I circle the roof of BIG, looking for a hint of those stun-bullet thingamabobs I think they use. I make out the distant face of Cornelia Hornshaw, grinning triumphantly for some reason.

All of a sudden I hear the chopping noise of the blades of a helicopter, droven by some BIG professors. I turn around and hurtle downward, hoping they wouldn't be able to follow me into the nearby forest. I perch on an oddly strong tree branch and watch the helicopter struggle to enter the forest. Ha-ha, can't catch me!

Suddenly a saw comes flying my way. I duck but the humans are aiming for the tree I am standing on. I take off in a random direction in panic and suddenly feel like something is chasing me...

Whiff! I just barely avoid a bullet. Whiff! Whiff! Whiff! Something small and sharp hits me just barely under my right wing, and I plummet to the ground as the world goes black.

Dang those humans!

My senses come to a few minutes later (or was it an hour?) as I am sprawled on the ground, bleeding but still alive. I open my eyes just a little bit, to make sure the humans left. The surrounding area is clear, and the bullet wound would have killed me if not for the fact that my wings were not actually part of my true body. I get up shakily, and to my surprise I didn't break any bones. The springy forest leaves had broken my fall. I head back to what I think is my temporary home(?)/refuge(?)/cave(definitely) hoping that a rest is enough to calm my jangling nerves.
