I'll start:

NAME: Charlie W.

SPECIES: Human (Homo sapiens)

JOB/TITLE: Sprocketville, Southwest Kyngdom

APPEARANCE: Tall for his age (13), average build, curly dark brown hair always needs a haircut (except right after he gets one)

PERSONALITY: Never the first to speak up, but always the first to notice something

HOME: His parents' house, which his mom likes to say has the most natural light of any underground bunker in Sprocketville, thanks to its many skylights

MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: The machinist wing of the Cypher Labs dormitory, where he lives on a hall with the other gear-nerds. Needless to say it's not the cleanest wing in the building.

FRIEND OR MENTOR: Dr. Sheepshank was the first adult he felt really took him seriously.

ENEMY OR RIVAL: Marcus R., the best machinist at Cypher--and a full year younger than Charlie.

FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: His titanium sprocket wrench set, a 13th birthday gift from Dr. Sheepshank.

MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: Er, did you try hitting it with a hammer?

STRENGTHS: Inventiveness--at age 8, he built a working dishwasher from scratch.

WEAKNESSES: Confidence--he has trouble standing up for himself sometimes.

BACKGROUND: Charlie grew up in Sprocketville, a small bunker town in Southwest Kyngdom. He was lonely there, since there weren't many other kids around--but that gave him plenty of time to tinker with the smashed-up machines that lined all the roads in town. After he built an entirely new set of household appliances from scratch, word spread across Kyngdom. Eventually, Dr. Sheepshank recruited him to be part of the Cypher Labs team. His parents were sad to see him go, but he didn't think twice: this was his big break.

I know, of course. Don't forget that the majority died in the original attack, but two groups were captured; one with Aviance, Vol, and Connie, and one with Aviance's mother, Connie's parents, and the two other leaders of the community, with David hiding until the attackers were gone and then trying to run after (which resulted in him getting lost... anyway, long story). Most of them probably died, but it is possible that one or two are still in hiding somewhere or in Catastrophe's dungeons. Since they were natural born Winged Ones, they were of high interest to Catastrophe, thinking maybe he could clone them for his army (without having to create new ones, like SOCS was doing). It IS a very optimistic point of view, but I might use it later with my charries.

Well, there are Winged Ones, which are natural born Homo avians, basically, but with a different name. Your charrie/s could be descendants of that clan, if you want them to be natural born.

Descendants? How long has this clan been around?

A while. One idea is that the mother/father could have been in it, and left to marry the other parent or for another reason. Yes, of course, it's fine with me!

Great! Then I'm gonna say that her mother broke away from the clan to marry her father, and something happened where she was left with the Nobyl family. I'm gonna leave the rest of her past a little cloudy for now...

I guess that works. Getting experimented on would be a strong personal reason to dislike the SOCS and/or BIG, though...

Sure! If you don't mind, that is.

Wait does that even work?

Homo Avians originally began with experiments, and Shadow was the first, "angel," meaning others were experimented on after her. So if others were experimented on and reproduced naturally afterwards, eventually becoming the family of Connie and all them, then that would mean Shadow is super old even though she was only about 13 or 14. I guess I'm just saying the time line doesn't line up, because then Connie and the others would have been born after Shadow, and they are all a few years older than her.

Okay, here. Let me explain again.

Connie and her family are Winged Ones, which are NATURAL BORN people with wings. They were never experimented on, they were born with wings originally (whether this started with magic or what, who knows).

Oh okay, so it was just something you made up.

Got it.

Did we decide that there was non-human Nobyls? I know there was some disscusion of that.

Oh, and by the way, Vanessa, I'm not sure about Benesssa. The problem is that she's a homo  avian and he's human. Can you tell me more about how homo avians are made?

Okay, well, I can help with that.

Homo avians are humans who have had wings put on them (usually by BIG or SOCS). Winged Ones are literally just humans who were born with wings.

So, how and/or when were the first Winged Ones born? Because it really feels like they should be the descendants of artificially created homo avians.

Hmmm. You know how there are all different species, like anthros, or whatever? Well, Winged Ones have been around for a long time. I haven't decided whether they came about due to a genetic mutation, magic, or the literal children of a bird and a human (sorry about that), yet. I'm going to post on that in a bit, just to clear up any confusion. Anyway, they mostly married inside the clan or to other humans, so it stayed pretty small. The crown was passed down through the female line, and the last known Queen was Cantilena Power, Aviance's mother (making Aviance the next Queen, once she turns 21). As previously mentioned by "...," it is impossible for them to be descendants of artificially created Homo avians. The timeline just does not match up, as Shadow was the first, and even Connie (the youngest remaining Winged One) is still a year older than Shadow would have been. I don't see why there would be a problem with another species existing in Kyngdom, which is a magical place, after all, especially since they've pretty much died out.

Mudge says arxu. Argue? No, Mudge, we're not arguing. XD

It's fine that they exist. If they were the product of a bird and a human, it's possible they're from Zekia. A genetic mutation would have to be a really big mutation, or a carefully cultivated one. Or perhaps the Powers had something to do with it... In any case, I just want to be careful; it would be weird to have a lot of them around when they're supposed to be almost gone.
