SailHaven

(I will do an explaination, then people can add to the story.)

SailHaven is my home city. It is a floating city, with a network of tunnels, allowing crime syndicates to evolve. The scientists there mostly develop implants, like blades in arms, or wearable tech, like monicles with lenses for seeing in the dark and stuff like that. I got exiled after creating blades that could be installed in arms, but they worked like a cat's claws, and could be hidden completely. After several assassinations, they had to punish me for making them.

sorry Elliot but i think i can handle myself. i have run with the street gangs before, adn while i am not fond of them, they are tolerable. i just need to lay low for a while until the police give up. It will be hard, but hey, i'm tough.

SailHaven is now right on top of Kyngdom. So any Kyngdom people can come to SailHaven!

Sprocket burst through the door, Cobalt right on her heels. She frantically started packing, throwing gears and various metal peices into her satchels. She knew the police. Once they found a lead, they followed it all the way. They were probably headed this way now.

Suddenly she stopped. What was she thinking? She needed to stop and think this through. She sat down and thought. Where would she go? Now that SailHaven was over Kyngdom, she could go to the mainland. She didn't know anything about the mainland, or anybody. That definately wasn't a good idea.

She was pulled out of her thoughts by Cobalt growling. She heard heavy footsteps outside the warehouse. They were here. Grabbing her three small satchels she ran to the window and jumped out, Cobalt following right at her heels.

Using a well practised escape routs, she ran to the end of the alley and, using some old boxes as a platform, vaulted onto the roofs.

She knew a group of street kids that terrorized the city. Joining up with them would make it harder to keep her secret, but it was worth a try.

Noticing SailHaven float over head, I fly up. I still have the satchel containing BIG supplies. The Royal Collage would love them. Seeing Elliot as I fly over the rougher part of town, I stop. He is with two kids! Sceeching in bat language,"What are you doing?", He replies and catches me up on what is going on.

This is the same author as Elliot, and what about we let each other use each other's characters?

I need to do something with politics. Anyone else interested in doing a SailHaven trial?

I can steal something or knock some important person out, if you want. Then I could have a trial.

Right now, you are with me. I have... Influence.

Why does Influence have a capital I? I won't hurt anyone, don't worry.

Ouch! I cringe. I have to pay more attention. I just bumped into a tree while flying. As I unruffle my muti-colored feathers I spot Mrs. Hornshaw. Oh no! I quickly flap my wings and fly upward, not watching where I am going. BAM! I bump into something again, and it's not a tree. I can feel myself morphing back into a girl as I fall. Wait, why does the ground feel metalic? And then, I black out.

I tell Elliot about the Owl Girl that hit a SailHaven building earlier today. He nods.

Update, the owl who hit the building is a shapeshifter of high power. And I think she is still there.

I walk around the metal plates of SailHaven-and I take a deep breath. The air is...different up here. I believe they employ regulators....

I pace the room I'm staying in. Too close to Kyngdom for comfort, but the idea is intresting, I wonder how..... There's a knock on my door.

"He'll see you now." A voice says quietly.

I swallow, my mouth dry. This better be good, and worth it.

Oh, boy! The carnival is coming to SailHaven! The streets will be packed!

I walk towards the gang, tall and seemingly fearless. They key to communicating with the gangs is to make yourself confident. They weak are soon weeded out, and only the toughest remain. First impressions are everything.

"Who are you?" one of them growls. They seemed to be the leader, with bright orange hair and peach fuz. He seemed about 15, and he was big.

" I hear this is the most notorious street gang aroud," I say," I think that I would like to join."

He laughs, the rest joining in with him. " Why would a shrimp like you want to run with us?"

I smile," I assure you, I am more than what I seem."

"We'll just  have to see," he snarls, then lunges at me.

I dodge his lunge easy and counter with a roundhouse kick to the face. He stagered back but quickly regains his composure. Trying a different tactic he raises his fists and faces me square. He throws and upercut and then quickly follows it with a right hook. The hook catches me off guard and clips me hard in the jaw. My head rings, but I run to the wall. Thinking that I am retreating, he follows me quick, becoming sloppy in his thirst for victory.

At the last moment I turn away from the wall, barely missing it. The leader was not so fortunate. He ran face first into the wall. I quickly kicked him in the back, and he fell to his knees.

The group gasped in shock. I walked over to him and offered him my hand. He took it coming to his feet.

"So," I say," Am I good enough?"

He smiles. " The names Oxfang," he says," Welcome to the gang."

I stare at Sprocket, going away with the streeet gang. Walking back to the Collage, I ponder what to do.
