Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

Society of Concerned Scientists, I believe. They were defeated and no longer exist; BIG is in charge of them now.

I thought that BIG and SOCS were rivals because SOCS did experiments on humans and BIG thought it was inhumane. Did I read something wrong or is there now a motive for BIG to continue the experiments?

Hey anybody have tips for finding and topping a new thread that's been bottomed on the RP board? Double clicking "submitted by" doesn't work, at least not on my phone.

Yeah, the "submitted by" button hasn't been working on Kyngdom for some reason - what I've been doing is just saving the link to the thread before the first comment bottoms it. Or combing through the back pages for it after its been bottomed. :P

Hi you guys may have seen another comment i left on a thread but i cant find it maybe it was questions for admins? idnot know so i'm asking again. How do I join kyngdom, is there a sign up process or am I already in it. If so when do I get my B.I.G letter.
I've just posted an answer on your other comment. Maybe another Chatterboxer will give you a more detailed answer here. They are running the show now.

Please read this brief summary of Kyngdom: https://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/543756
Then, make your own original character for a roleplay. To find the roleplays, scroll to the bottom of the Kyngdom page and click on the RP Board. Choose a roleplay to join! They're all good, but I recommend the Traverler's RP for a beginner. Regardless of which RP you choose, make sure to read all of the comments on the RP so you knowl what is happening.
Once you've created your character for the roleplay and posted your form, go back to the main page of Kyngdom and fill out the form on the "Who's Here?" thread with that same character you just made.
And you're done! Time to get roleplaying. Let me know if you have any other questions!

how exactly do animals and humans and species of humans come in? Like, what role do they play? I know BIG would experiment on them, but how does this come into the Catastrophe part? Also do BIG and Catastrophe relate in any way? if so, how? if not, how do they differ? Are they two different plot threads? Sorry if this is answered in the Ultimate Guide or some other place, but i've been trying to get through that thing for months and can't figure any of it out heh

also what is known about Kyngdom's worldbuilding at the moment? It all seems pretty nebulous. It seems pretty technologically advanced but I also see a lot of more fantasy-esque stuff. Is there any magic? Is it all from world stuff? Could there be magical items? the more i research the world the more confused i get sorry. maybe we could make a worldbuilding thread with these basics so we could have a solid foundation to work off of (even if we kept it loose). I'd be willing to do that but as i said i still can't figure out what those basics are.
also can anyone make an rp or is it organized in some way? I've been working on an idea but i need to understand Kyngdom more (especially tech level and magic and what kind of objects and stuff are common) if I'm going to be able to figure that out.
