Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Day 0This pe

Day 0

This person might consider themselves to be an ordinary person, but today the life they have always lived might take a turn for the extraordinary. On May 15, a day like any other, this person picks up the mail. There are the usual ads, a letter from a family member, and- what's this? A letter addressed to the person but with no return address? Curious, this person thinks. Tearing open the envelope, the person reads the letter.

Dear Reader,

If you have received this letter, you have been invited to the greatest ski lodge party ever to occur. We would be very pleased if you would attend. We shall begin on July 15, giving you two months to RSVP. We shall be very sad if you cannot attend. Come, come! Join in our celebration. We have but a few rules:

- In the past, a couple of murderers have seemed to sneak into the lodge and murdered everyone. If you're a murderer, stay away, unless your name is Melody, Red, or BHR.

- It's all fun and games here. No matter what happens, everything shall be silly and fun.

- If you have no idea what I'm going on about, you can read the rules to any of the past ski lodge adventures (the top comment on Pudding's Place should be one). If you do, ignore this and keep reading.

- A new day is usually posted in the morning by me. Every day, a new installment in the story occurs.

- You're very welcome to write your point of view of the day (why most people don't is a mystery to me!) but please wait for me to put the day up first.

- Logic sometimes gets tossed out the window. Nobody needs that stuff!

- I do not pick who lives and dies- my immortal companion, the Sugarbowl, carries your names and I randomly draw them out.

- If you ask me to put a really long, narcissistic, name into the Sugarbowl (*cough cough Melody cough cough*)- Excuse me, I seem to have come down with a bit of a cold. As I was saying- if you do ask me to put such a long name in, I will ignore you and probably tease you about it for the rest of your life. Don't think I won't.

- I tend to make fun of people a lot (*cough cough Melody cough cough*). My goodness, that really is a very persistent cold! Please don't take it personally. Also, I am sure I will mess up someone's gender. Don't take that personally either. I botch personalities and tend to make a general mess of things. Moral of the story: Don't take anything here personally. If I mess with you, it means I like you.

- What a hypocrite- "but a few rules", my foot.

- I always feel like this section is hard to write. Eh, if you don't get things, read another rule page, or ask me questions.

We look forward to your participation. Please come join the show.

-The Omnipotent Narrator

The Sugarbowl is waking up... It is time to choose your own adventure. Will you come join?

Okay links to the old murder mysteries.

Number one:

Looking these links up reminded me of something: Ruby didn't start the first murder mystery.  Sam did.  That really surprised me.

Also, I used to be really annoying about Ruby's gender and I apologize for that.

Thanks, Melody!

Yeah, I completely took over Sam's murder mystery. Sorry. I am glad I did that, however, because I wouldn't have had the courage to try that myself. I didn't think the Admins would allow it. I've had a ton of fun with writing these and I think it'll be awesome to do this one.

You don't need to apologize. I enjoy pretending to be something I'm not as a disguise. I'm very paranoid, as I'm sure a lot of you know. (Any paranoia, weirdness, etc. in the Ski Lodge is me making fun of myself. Don't take it seriously.) It amuses me to have numerous disguises and it makes me feel safer. Pretending to be a girl was a lot of fun, but I got bored with it. I understand if you were confused or hounded me a lot about it. I don't really mind. It always made me laugh to see everyone so convinced I was female.

Awesome!!! Glad I saw this before it was too late this year.

Mom joining this year if that's ok.

I promise I will: forget to write; forget what I'm supposed to be doing; and post something semi-short when I remember to write!

Just kidding... Though I probably will do all three at some point!

Can't wait!!!

I'm not going to ask my brother if he'd prefer that an alias go into the Sugarbowl (as opposed to his name) because I know he'll ask for something ridiculous (such as, for example "The Master of NERF" or perhaps "Master of Minecraft"). So just put him in the Sugarbowl as Jack, okay?

Bro, you forgot me. Of all people, too...

You're now in, Violet! Have fun!

Oh Ever-Humble and Powerful The Omnipotent Narrator,

It appears that a dear friend of mine would like to join, in fact, she tried to join quite awhile ago. She is having some troubles getting along with the Capatcha, though, and was unable to leave a comment. On the slight chance that I will see her today, I will try to explain it, but if that does not work/happen, do you think it would be possible for me to make a comment vouching for her? She read parts of the last ski lodge and quite liked it. Of course, I do know that if this is to happen, we would have to sucessfullly communicate before the 15th, though that doesn't seem impossible.

If this is out of probablity, that's okay. I thought I might as well ask as I may see them today.

Your Ever-Loyal Servant,

Theo W.

Only 5 more day til we start; I'm so excited! Will it be on this thread or a new one?

Oh, and do you mind answering a stupid question? Is this basically an rp?  Like, does everyone who joins write? Thanks!

It's in five days! What! Where has the time gone? *panic, panic*

It's not a stupid question, I'm well aware I don't make myself very clear. Writing every day is not necessary, but I do recommend it if it's fun for you. If you don't want to, don't feel obligated to. Basically, every day, usually in the morning, I post the "Day" which will cover all the events that happened in the ski lodge that day. After the Day is posted, feel free to add your own events and point of view.

Thanks, TON. Nah, you're fine at explaining; it's just that I'm tired, and don't have the mental energy to try and understand this. ;P I love to write, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to write for this every day, but I'll certainly try! This sounds like so much fun! How long will it last? (You probably just told me, but, like I said, I'm extremely tired. I should probably check out the thread entitled "Sleep"...)
