The A.B.S.U.R.D.

Thank you for clicking on this thread. This is the Amusing Baby Sitting Unsafe Ridiculous Daycare. You have been invited to join an adventure in which normal people like you will go on an adventure involving babies, danger, diapers, and one Best Caretaker Of Them All. You will be assigned a baby and you will have to ensure that he or she stays safe throughout your dangerous mission. The most responsible person will win a prize and go down in the CB Hall Of Fame as the first Best Caretaker Of Them All. I am The Headmistress, who is always watching you through her big screen TV and high-quality cameras with a bottle of soda in her hand. Anyway, here are the rules:

-You MUST like babies and obsess over how adorable they are.

-If you are afraid of diapers, do not fear, they will be the least of your worries. *cackles*

-Pack whatever you want and think is necessary.

-All people will have their names picked out of the Decisive Diaper. The first person I pick will be The Best Caretaker of Them All.

-No Alter Egos. They don't sound very responsible anyway.

-I don't know how often I'll be able to update, but I promise at least once a week.

I believe that is all. If you have any questions, just ask. This begins on March 21st, so hurry!!

                                                                                        Signed,

The Headmistress of A.B.S.U.R.D.

P.S. Be prepared for weirdness and messes.

P.P.S. If you guess who I am, that's fine. It won't make any difference to the story.

P.P.P.S. I'm sorry, but if you join in the middle it might make things really confusing, and you won't have a chance of being the winner.

P.P.P.P.S. Are you still here? Sign up already!!

Oh, I didn't actually read the rules.

I don't like babies.

Never mind then, I won't join.

ALSO WHAT I'M THE ONLY BOY ON HERE?

0_0

No, you're not the only boy on Chatterbox. I think she only meant on the babies RP thread.

It's perfectly fine with me if you are not joining, Hab. And, Admin is right. You are DEFINITELY not the only boy here. I meant the only boy who was joining. And Horse Spirit Girl, we will start on Saturday, if I have time. If I don't, then Sunday.

All right!! I'm free at last!!! So, here it is:

Day 0~

All the CBers were giggling amongst themselves while they waited for the bus to arrive. "I wonder what The Headmistress is like," said Rainbow. "Oh, I'm sure she's really nice!" Savvy said, jumping up and down. "What I'M worried about is whether my baby is going to like me or not!" "I'm sure that all the babies are really cute," put in Joss. At that moment, the bus arrived. It was bright yellow, and said A.B.S.U.R.D. on it in big blue letters. The girls climbed in and so the long ride started.

**An hour later**

"WE ARE HERE!!" yelled Brookiera."See, there it is." She pointed at a humongous building that had endless windows and seemed like it housed at least a thousand babies. "Do you think the mission will be too hard?" asked Nora. "Nah. I'm pretty sure it can't be harder than cleaning a mess off the kitchen floor," Carolion said. "Do you think it is *gulp* DIAPERS??" Somebody asked, shivering. All the CBers were walking toward a friendly-looking door that was right smack in the middle of all the windows. The door opened, and they stepped into a sunny yellow room. They looked around the room for someone, anyone, who would welcome them. Instead, a voice boomed over the loudspeaker, "WELCOME, LADIES!! ARE YOU READY TO FACE SOME BABIES AND GO ON AN ADVENTURE??" Before anyone could say anything, a door opened. No one had any idea how that door got there, but that is besides the point.

****In the Room****

Inside that room, there were exactly eleven babies playing and laughing in the most adorable way ever. Every girl dropped her backpack, and ran to the baby she found most appealing. T.H.E. ran to an adorable baby boy, Brookiera could be heard squealing over her baby's magic powers, Horse Spirit Girl was found with a cute little girl, Nora was cuddling a charming baby with curls, Rainbow was feeding a bunny-eared baby with her special food, Somebody was making sure her baby didn't need a diaper change, Carolion was playing with a baby, Savvy was trying to teach her baby gymnastics, Winter Firefly was hugging her baby, and Young Writer was teaching a baby to scribble. That was when the door ominously creaked open..........................

DUN DUN DAAAN...........So. Yeah. CLIFFHANGER!! Hope y'all like this, and next day is next week. Sorry, but I AM SO BUSY that I only have the weekends to type. Also, this was 427 words!!!

Can we write letters to our alter egos back home?

Area 51

Agent, DNA,

Hi guys! It is pretty nice here. My baby, Ari, is the sweetest! She is very scheming and though her powers aren't fully developed, she will be powerful when they are. I think you'd like her Agent; she is like you, except she knows where her loyalties lie. (She is fire element, by the way.) The Headmistress is fun, the other babysitters are nice, and the babies are adorable!

At home. You guys, don't fight (yeah right). Still. I expect you to both be alive when I get home. See you soon!

Love and Uncrustables,

Your sane counterpart,

I never said you were nice (but you are Cayke, who is nice anyway, b-but that's beside the point!). I said you were fun. This I know because anyone who has a blue bus with A.B.S.U.R.D. on it in yellow letters (or was it a yellow bus with blue letters? I can't remember) is a fun person.

Not a problem! I was just wondering. {:

Dearest Diary,

What a day! The darling 6-month-old baby I've chosen is quite clearly going to be a handful. I'm determined to win this thing, but it sure won't be easy. Not that I can't handle it or anything! I TOTALLY can. Autumn Sage is undoubtedly adorable, albeit rather mischievous...this morning I found her struggling to climb up the stairs! Luckily, I had taken precautions beforehand and had placed a baby-proof gate there, but still. Anyway, I make sure to feed her with a bottle of organic infant formula whenever she gets hungry, and she takes two 90-minute naps per day. Of course, I've brought toys, too! She seems to love coloring, so I always put out a few crayons for her during playtime. Usually she isn't too fussy, but when she is it gets LOUD. That's probably why I've been having an ongoing migraine since I got here. But that's okay - Autumn Sage is safe and that's what's important. Oh, I hear her waking up from her nap...gotta go!

Until next time,

Nora

Dear MP,

I have been asked to take care of the crown princess of the Frost Elf empire. She is obviously the most intelligent of the babies (she was reading the Iliad when I arrived), but she won't talk. However, she does have magical powers! Telekinesis and water, like me! She would make an excellent druid if she didn't have to rule the kingdom.

Wish you were here (not really),

Brookeira III, High Druid of Glacia

Cheerio Brooke, what what!

I am now going to talk in a British accent. Yes, I can be British in a letter. Tea and crumpets, what ho! I have captured the Squirrel Queen and am holding her for ransom to the Globulous Bubblefishes. Tally ho, what what, ta ta!

Britishly Signed,

(British) Masked Piester

So, since you guys might be getting impatient, here is a short teaser episode:

Day 0 1/2~

As the girls were delighting in their newfound babies, their laughter was interrupted by the ominous noise of a door creaking open. Everyone froze. The babies were as turned to stone, and as for the CBers, their giggles had literally frozen on their lips. All heads moved in unison to look at the open door. No one was there. Instead, a blast of wind came swirling into the room. Everyone shivered. Nora shakily got to her feet, carrying her baby. The rest of the girls followed. Beyond the door, there was no more trace of the sunny yellow room. Instead, there was snow. Lots of snow. "Uh oh, I think our mission...... has started".....................

Dearest  Dairy,

I'm already in love with Amelia Rose and have only been with her for a few hours! There is something charming about her, maybe it's her big bright eyes, or her perfect little pigtails, or even her adorable smile. She had asked me to read to her the moment I got there, and I did. She hung on every word I read and understood everything. She must be the smartest one year old.  Amelia  also somersaults all over the place. Well that's all for now, oh and you know how I told you that all the CBers are really nice, supporting, amazing online but meeting then in real life they are even more supporting, amazing, creative, and wonderful people. I heard Nora singing to her baby, her voice is so powerful and beautiful at the same time. I never knew a lullaby could sound so beautiful. But, don't tell her I heard her; she doesn't know I heard.

Goodbye for know,

Horse Spirit Girl
