Art Contest Round

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Art Contest Round

Art Contest Round 3!

I know, Round 2 hasn't completely finished. But some of the contests are already over, so I thought, why not make another one?

The categories:

Drawing (With color)

Sketch

Painting

Modeling

Repertoire (Something made long ago)

Paper cutting/Orgami

So it's first come, first serve for whoever wants to judge. The judge decides if there's going to be a category, if there's going to be a deadline, if you can enter more than one entry, et cetera.

Also, I think you can post videos, as long as there are no people in it, so we might be able to add another category, Music. You could just cover up the camera while you sing/play.

Admin, can we post videos with sound, as long as there are no people in it?

Also, fill out this form:

Name:

Categories I want to judge:

Categories I want to enter:

And here is mine:

Name: It varies.

Categories I want to judge: Repertoire

Categories I want to enter: Paper cutting/ Origami, Music if Admin allows, Sketch, Drawing if I have time, and Modeling if I have time.

Chatterbox does not post videos at the present time. Only still pictures. Sorry.

I would love to join! Yay!!!

Name: Micearenice

Categories wanting to judge: None, as I'm too late to judge anything!

Categories wanting to enter: Modeling, and may I request a fantasy theme? I am in the process of sculpting an amazing dragon and would like to enter it once it's done. I'd also like to enter in drawing, and sketch!

Oh yes, I'm sorry, Leaf, I missed that you were judging Repertoire. Now we can begin, I think. Except we need another participant for painting, and that might as well be me. I've got something I can use, I think. Depending on the theme, of course.

MY RULES FOR MODELING

-Entries due on the 2nd of April.

-Keep the sculpture smaller than a piece of 8x10" paper please, and less than 6" in diameter.

-The topic is Fantasy-Related Items, Critters, Et Cetera.

-Keep everything appropriate for the CB (no animals mating, giving birth, etc.)

-Don't feel too pressurized.

-EVERYTHING SUBMITTED MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK AND NOTHING ELSE!!!

And that's about it! Happy sculpting!

Hey, Leaf of Love, what if we're in fourth grade? How about you make it something you created at least a year ago rather than from a certain grade? Because I think there are some CBers in fourth grade, I'm not sure though.

If you are in fourth grade, then you have to have made it at least a year ago.

Name: I made it while free drawing, so it doesn't have a specific title. I'll just call it "The Dragon".

Made: When I was 10 in 4th grade.

Other: This was made in the period when everything I drew was a dragon, and doodled constantly (I still do).

Sorry if it's sideways.

Rules for Drawing!!!~

1) Contestant's artwork must have color.

2) The category is: sad abstract.

3) The drawing must be on a white paper. (I.e. no notebook paper)

4) Your CB signature must be in the image.

5) No hidden personal images.

6) The image must be uploaded by the 31st!

Thank you! If you find 'Sad Abstract' to be challenging, look up abstracts. I suggest incorporating blues and mournful colors, as well as soft,  meaningful lines. That is, however, my interpretation.

Are you only allowed to use marker and colored pencil, or can you use other things as well?

Crayons and etc...

Anything that provides color will be perfectly acceptable!

Okay, I am no longer in Drawing. I hate to confide but one of my deepest fears is abstract art. I guess I could suck it up and face my fear, but that's not likely to happen. My art always needs to look like something, something that won't be misinterpreted. So abstract doesn't work out. Honestly, it scares me. I'm physically unable to do it. The only time o did was in kindergarten for an art project but back then we were all innocent. Sorry for my discomfort and to all those in Drawing, good luck and best wishes.

Yeah, sad art, especially abstract, will be kind of difficult for me. I also started working on a drawing of CAPTCHA's; is it OK if I post that on here too even if I don't enter it?

Announcement!

My apologies for picking something so obscure. I wasn't actually sure if anyone would be able to do it in the first place, but I wanted to see!

Since that won't work, I woulds like the category to be Fantasy Nature.

Basically come up with your own fantastical, weird-looking plant or something! I really hope this change does not affect anyone, thank you.

(P.S. If you have already started on your abstract I would love to see it!)

OK! I'll get right to it!

Does it have to be a plant?

Can we use paint? Because there is a painting part too (which I can't enter because I'm judging...)
