Art Contest Round

Chatterbox: Pudding's Place

Art Contest Round

Art Contest Round 3!

I know, Round 2 hasn't completely finished. But some of the contests are already over, so I thought, why not make another one?

The categories:

Drawing (With color)

Sketch

Painting

Modeling

Repertoire (Something made long ago)

Paper cutting/Orgami

So it's first come, first serve for whoever wants to judge. The judge decides if there's going to be a category, if there's going to be a deadline, if you can enter more than one entry, et cetera.

Also, I think you can post videos, as long as there are no people in it, so we might be able to add another category, Music. You could just cover up the camera while you sing/play.

Admin, can we post videos with sound, as long as there are no people in it?

Also, fill out this form:

Name:

Categories I want to judge:

Categories I want to enter:

And here is mine:

Name: It varies.

Categories I want to judge: Repertoire

Categories I want to enter: Paper cutting/ Origami, Music if Admin allows, Sketch, Drawing if I have time, and Modeling if I have time.

Chatterbox does not post videos at the present time. Only still pictures. Sorry.

No, it does not have to be a single plant. It can be a nature-related anything! No man-made anything.

@Butterfly, I would assume it not being paint. I'm sorry, but that is for the paint* category. Thank you for walking, but I would definitely say no paints. Brush-markers are gfine, however.

*Originally spelled 'pain' on accident!

Does fairy-made count as man-made?

Fairy-made, man-made. Fairy-made, man-made. There seems to be a difference...... Oh, maybe it's the fact that fairies aren't men and never will be?  I think you could pull off fairy-made. Fairies, from what I know, have very distinct styles of crafting from humans. But the final decision is Katydid's.

Can you extend the Drawing date? Like, about a week? I'm a slow artist and need more time.

Hmm....I suppose you could add a little fairy-ness to the image, like a little house of a little fairy, but not a whole society and ect.

I can extend the drawing date. The new drawing deadline is April 1st!

Lol, jk, April fools.

The new drawing deadline is April 5th! You must finish it by that time. Preferrably the day before, but if not, all is well.

I don't think the Kitty person is going to Judge Sketch. If said person doesn't post by tommorow can we have a new judge?

Below is my entry for Repertoire. I made it when I was in fourth grade. It is a papier-mâché sunflower with wire petals.

So last quarter I took a 2D art class. Everybody talked a lot so we got way behind, and some people still hadn't finished their projects! My teacher had to teach me ahead of time because I was leaving for vacation.

We did an abstract drawing, and the school administrator was going to the capital and offered to take a piece of work along! There was a miscommunication involved and she thought it was a piece from everybody, but only just one apparently! She chose mine! It's going to hang in the governor's mansion and I'm going to get a signed certificate from him! ITS SO COOOL!

ANNNDD! We took a picture of our eye and another picture (I took a picture of a tree in front of the full moon). We drew with charcoal and put the object in the eyeball. She is allowed to enter twelve pieces in the district art competition, usually one from each class and sometimes two, etc. She chose my eyeball! And it is a competition!

The downside is I don't get to see them for a while!

But EEEEEE!!!
