Sharing Photography

Okay, so I ran across the Art Posting thread, which made me really excited. I love art, learning techniques, and just enjoying other people's masterpieces. Then I thought, what else do I really love doing besides reading, art, and video games? Photography!

And that is why this thread now exists. I love photography almost more than art. and the Art Sharing thread inspired this, so thank you. I want this thread to be a place where people can share their photographs they have taken. A place to share the stories behind the pictures. A place, really, where your photography can be enjoyed by others, and where story inspirations can sprout.

So what do you say? Wish to join in the fun of photography? Even if you don't take pictures, you are more than welcome to come join in with comments and stories. I'll share some of my own photos once this thread is up.

@Lap R. Again, thank you for creating the Art Posting thread. I hope it is fine with you to have this thread, being that it was sort of your idea, but with art.

Wow, yours are all so good! My photos are nothing near that lovely. Ashley, I especially adore your first one, with the mushroom and dew drops.  Mine aren't very good, but, nonetheless, here is one. I saw this reflection in a truck window while strolling in Vienna, Austria.  It looks to me like a window into the sky.

That is beautiful, Booksy Owly! It is such a unique perspective, worm's eye view. I do agree, it looks like a window to the sky. And do not say your photos are not lovely, for this is stunning! I always find beauty in all photos, for each is a masterpiece. So please, if you have more you wish to share, do! You are a natural in photography.

Here is one of the pictures I took a little more recently. One thing I love about this photo is the reflections of the rock onto the river, creating something like a parallel world.

Here's a photo I took a little while ago:

Spirit-rain says oxht! Ox hat? What does that mean?

BumbleBuddy, wonderful picture! You did an amazing job catching the new seedling breaking free from a rocky terrain. Also, thank you for saving this thread. It was on the verge of dying out.

I'm so glad you two posted! I was about to let the thread die since no one else had posted pictures.

Stormfly, your photo is stunning! It makes me even more excited for visiting the Oregon coast this summer. The water looks beautiful!

I forgot to ask: Where are you going to be? I may see you if you are in town and if I'm around.
