Sharing Photography

Okay, so I ran across the Art Posting thread, which made me really excited. I love art, learning techniques, and just enjoying other people's masterpieces. Then I thought, what else do I really love doing besides reading, art, and video games? Photography!

And that is why this thread now exists. I love photography almost more than art. and the Art Sharing thread inspired this, so thank you. I want this thread to be a place where people can share their photographs they have taken. A place to share the stories behind the pictures. A place, really, where your photography can be enjoyed by others, and where story inspirations can sprout.

So what do you say? Wish to join in the fun of photography? Even if you don't take pictures, you are more than welcome to come join in with comments and stories. I'll share some of my own photos once this thread is up.

@Lap R. Again, thank you for creating the Art Posting thread. I hope it is fine with you to have this thread, being that it was sort of your idea, but with art.

Don't ever say you're bad at photography! That is a really good picture and it turned out really well.

Kate, I love that picture! It is nice to see a really funny one here and there. You can even see your dog's eye, just barely, looking dazed into the sunlight. And of course, I can't help but laugh at his big puppy-dog face (and huge nose). Amazing photo, Kate!

Oh my, I really need to catch up on this thread! There are so many new stunning photos.

@Alexandra, I love that picture! Sometimes the best ones are taken by accident. It almost reminds me of a video game, the way the screen makes it all look pixilated. And NEVER say you are a bad photographer. I will die if I hear that phrase again. Everyone has the talent within them, it just takes some practice, mistakes, and time to find that talent. Like I say to everyone else, you are a natural, so keep at it!

Hmm... If you "really, really, really like this thread" then I will really like this thread 4 times! Just kidding, but I love all these photographs, they are stunning! This one, in particular, catches my eye due to its vivid color in the green blades of grace. I love how wonderful the colors are with the dark purple pedals, framed with the whiter color on the edge. And the yellow and pink on top, just wonderful! Also, the pink flower to the left and that strangely-colored, bright purple flower on the right catch my attention as well.

Great work as always, Stormfly!

I just got back from Europe, and I took some pictures that might be worth sharing. Besides, this thread is about to die!

Here's one that I took of one of my favorite foods - donuts. So much color and chaos contained in these glorious donuts!
