Chatterbox: Inkwell

Time Travel RP!

Time Travel RP!

So this is Part 2 of our "I was thinking..." thread (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/108646) . True and I have been keeping it up for an entire year (yes, we litterally made the final post exactly one year later!). We've loved doing, and have decided to make a Part 2! This is for new people who want to join!

The idea is that you make a character that is related to someone famous in history, but that person can't be an actor, actress, singer, etc. For example, here's my character:

Dehlia Ludington.

Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.

Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777

Suddenly transported to the 21st century.

Age: 14

Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.

Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.

And here's True's (I hope you don't mind my putting you character as an example):

Name: Doralynn Barton

Age: 12

Related to: Clara Barton

Lives: Maryland, at her Aunt Clara's house

Appearence: Curly Black hair, light skin. Is short. About 5'

Personality: Is kind to all animals. Is a nurse to animals. A tomboy.

The story line so far is that we just saved the world in the future thanks to "time tears". They're a liquid substance that allows time traveling. Well, we've all returned to our respective times. But we discovered the original way we showed up was we each had a time-tear-infused object. For Dehlia, it was a book. For Dora, it was a handkerchief. The characters still have these items, and we were thinking of starting another adventure! So this is open for anyone else to join!

That is great, BHR! I can't wait to get started again. :)

I'm just going to change one thing - if that's all right with you. I was in a hurry when I typed up the first character sheet, and Dora has changed since, so is it all right to make a new one?

Name: Doralynn Barton (but please, call her Dora)

Age: 12

Gender: Girl

Related to: Clara Barton

Lives: Maryland, at her Aunt Clara's house

Appearence: Curly black hair, pale skin, and a few freckles. She has round brown eyes, and she is quite short for her age, "a delicate little creature," so to quote her Aunt Clara.

Personality: Although she may look weak and puny, woe to him who underestimates her. Dora is willing to fight, quite ferociously for her friends, for what is important, and for her life. She is cautious, but has recently become more adventurous and a little less shy.

Other: Is good friends with Dehlia Ludington, whom she met . . . through an interesting experience.

@ True: Of course! I was just giving a general example/idea of the current main characters. And I love what you said about her "woe to him who underestimates her" and "Is good friends with Dehlia Ludington who she met... through an interesting experience"! I love that, that is just priceless!

Related to: Benjamin Franklin

Lives: In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

...Cappie says pake. Pancake. I'm having some of those tomorrow!

Hey, can I join?

Name: Eva Wright

Age: 13

Related to: The Wright Brothers. She's their. . . er, little sister? ^.^

Lives: In Kitty Hawk, where she helps her older borthers test their airplanes, 1896

Apperance: Dark brown shoulder length hair, tan skin from being out in the sun a lot. Blue eyes. About 5'4 (my height! Except she's two years older then me, so. . . )

Name: Rebecca Frank

Related to: Anne Frank

Age: 15

Lives: In the Secret Annex

Appearance: Shoulder length black hair, captivating eyes, thin, pale from lack of sunlight

Personality: Patient, chatty, strong in spirit, hopeful, loves to read, hard-working

(If we still need time infused objects, Rebecca's will be her diary.)

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!

I've been watching the Part 1 thread for months, and it's AMAZING!  I'd love to join, but I'm not going to lie to you; I'd never be able to keep it up.  Sorry.

I still see you as the leader, but since you asked my opinion, let's see. We have five people already, and I don't know how more we will get. Shall we just transport to the future / past and see where this goes? We had a small number in the last, too.

@ True: Sounds good to me! Since we went to the future last time, maybe we could go to the past this time?

Sure! But how far would that be? You would be the oldest so far, again. ;) Anytime before 1777 would be great!
