I love the the future Aveleen. For some reason, I think that's really cool.

I sighed and leaned my head against the stone wall. Another day in Belle Rever.

" C'mon kitty. Time for breakfast!" one of the guards opened the slit, and slid the breakfast tray through. I hissed at him, my eyes narrowed to slits.

" Don't call me that, Bob," I growled, slinking off of the metal bed.

" I don't think so. It really suits you, when all you do is hiss and growl at me," Bob muttered. I took one look at the tray and turned back to the metal bed.

" Hey, hey, hey! Where do you think you're going? You have to eat this!" Bob yelled.

" I'm not eating that! I'd rather starve myself till lunch!" I growled like a jaguar.

" Fine by me," Bob muttered again, and walked away with the tray.

" I think you should eat what you're given," one of the cellmates rasps, staring intently at the device around his wrist.

" Yeah, and barf? Then have my cell stink up? No thanks," I snarled, glaring at the floor. Ovaro chuckled, and continued to play around with the device around his wrist.

" What do you find so interesting about the Container?" I asked, watching him inspect it.

" It's able to keep my powers at bay. I always wonder how it does that," he murmurs, still looking at it.

" And they say that you're a criminal, and that they put you in here, meanwhile, you're staring at the Container around your wrist," I said, shaking my head.

" They put me in here because I stole something, got caught, and couldn't control my powers. I accidently killed someone," Ovaro explained. I turned back around, my back pressed against the bars, which were in between mine and Ovaro's back.

" But you, you've been in here fifteen times I heard." Ovaro chuckled. I sighed.

" It's actually thirteen times I've been in here. I just let people think it's fifteen, because then they think I'm a master mind at escaping," I laughed a little. Ovaro chuckled again.

" What did they put you in here for?" I swallowed, taking in a breath to explain.

" I did everything I ever did for a person that I loved. But I can't love him anymore. He's gone," I mumble, my fingers digging in to my palms, so as not to cry.

" Ah, love. It does things to you," Ovaro responded.

" It wasn't like that. I didn't do it for a lover. I did this all for my brother. My brother."

Oh, now you know why she turned evil. Maybe in the next post she tells her story to a visitor, who used to be an old friend. >:D

Aveleen took off her Echo costume and donned her normal clothes in the woods outside the jail. She walked in as the guards stared and walked up to Layla's cage.

"Who're you?"

"You should know."

"Go away."

"Layla Evermore, scorion, are you not?"

Layla gasped at the sight of Aveleen. This wasn't the middle class man's daughter. This was a billionaire.

"WHAT Are you doing here?!?!"

But Aveleenwas already gone.

An hour  later, she found Draco in the street, blacked out. "Draco!" she gasped, shaking him awake.

"Who...... Aveleen? But...... I haven't seen you in five years."

I was still a little bit shocked when Aveleen had shown up. I hadn't seen her in ages. I sighed again, as I waited for dinner. The door was opened by a guard, then it clanged shut as someone stepped into the cell. My eyes narrowed.

" General Hassen."

" Ms. Evermore."

" What are you doing here?" I asked, curiosity biting at me.

" I wanted to ask you the same thing."

" Simple, I stole a t.v. for my house and I got caught," I answered, crossing my arms over my chest.

" Well I'm afraid my answer isn't as simple as you said yours was." General Hassen looked down at his watch, then back at me.

" Why are you here? Why do I see you appearing in every newspaper, for the past five years?" I growled at him saying," My next answer to your question isn't simple like the other one."

" Just answer it." I bit back a retort.

" It started after we beat the scorion king. Instead of my brother living like when we didn't time travel, when we fixed everything, he died. Since we fixed the past so the future wouldn't be what it was before, I got caught, and instead of him hiding and no one catching him, he wailed and wailed, no one came for him, and somebody caught him and killed him!" I yelled, a roar starting to build up in my chest. It felt like hours before General Hassen replied.

" Why did you start stealing and picking off other bad guys and the police like mice?"

" Because. It's all for him. I figured out the man who caught and killed my brother was a bad guy. So, I killed him, and then his goons. There are still more of them. I started picking off the police, because the bad guys are mine to deal with. Not theirs," I hissed angrily.

" The police could be your friends and help you!" General Hassen argued.

" No, I refuse help from them. The goverment made them make my family move to a new home! Some of them died on the way there! I will never forgive them! Never!" I snarled, and lunged at General Hassen. One of the guards pulled him out right after I sliced my claws across his face. The door locked shut as I clutched the bars, screeching.

" Never!"

Can I kinda *meh* join? (yes, I know, this is kinda a girl thing, but who cares!)

name: Bradey Wolisf (WOL-I-SF)

Appearance: Short boy with dark brown hair, brownish/redish eyes.

Power: Turns into a bluish-ghost wolf thingy, and has ice powers.

Personality/backstory: He is the head of a gang of superhero kids. They steal money and food to survive. Bradey is funny when it's needed, and clever when the day goes rough. Very hot and popular. Can be a bit annoying.

Bradey--

I smirk as the granny screams, "COPS!". I stole her purse.

Poor her...

Who cares....

I don't....

I turn into a wolf, growling at the police. One of them screams like a girl, and they all go running away. Well, that's brave and manly. NOT. I run away, laughing at their fearfulness. This is the life.

Aveleen helped Draco up off the street. She noticed the laser burns on his back. "You okay?" she asked

Draco nodded. "I'm immune to fire, remember? Laser burns shouldn't be much different. Yes, I already feel it healing."

Aveleen looked Draco over. "Looks like you've been pretty successful over the past few years," she said with a smirk.

"Pshh. I'm nothing compared to you, little miss billionaire," Draco replied. "Why haven't you visited me?"

"It's been complicated," Aveleen sighed. "I was going to try and contact you, but I just couldn't, what with the paparazzi and Layla going bad and all."

Draco opened his mouth to say something else, but was interrupted by a beeping from a device on his wrist. INCOMING CALL FROM EDNA COOPER, said a mechanical voice. Draco pressed a button, and a little hologram of his Aunt Edna's face popped up. "What is it, Edna?" Draco asked urgently.

"It's very serious," Edna said. "Meet me at the observatory as soon as you can."

"Be right there," Draco said, turning off the hologram. "You'd better come with me," he said to Aveleen. Draco spread his wings and flew off towards his Aunt's mansion. Aveleen floated after him using telekenisis.

When they got to to the mansion, Aveleen gasped. It was much bigger than the last time she had seen it. It, even had an observatory with a huge telescope, which is where she guessed they were headed. Draco must've heard her gasp, because he looked back at her and grinned. "I know, the observatory is cool, isn't it? Let's go inside."

Inside the observatory, an old woman was hunched over a pile of papers. Draco cleared his throat, and Edna turned around. "Draco! I didn't hear you come in-" Edna spied Aveleen and smiled pleasantly. "Aveleen O'Rourke! I haven't seen you in ages! How is your book business going?"

"Er... quite well, ma'am," Aveleen replied awkwardly. "But didn't you call Draco and I here for a reason?"

"Oh! I almost forgot!" Edna exclaimed. "Draco, its about your nightmare. I think the creature in the nightmare and your friend Layla becoming a criminal are linked."

"How so?" asked Draco.

"Take a look at this," Edna said, pulling out a heat map. "This is a scan I did  of the constellation Leo last night. Judging by the places where the heat is the strongest, it appears there is a creature living in the constellation that is the exact same shape as the creature from Draco's dream."

"How is this linked to Layla?" Aveleen asked.

"I'm getting to that," Edna said. "You see, the creature is transmitting some kind of frequency that let's it control minds. Too high for humans to hear, but scorions can hear it."

"So you're saying the creature is controlling Layla's mind, and that's why she went bad?" Draco said.

"In a way," Edna replied. "Layla would probably be able to resist the mind control if she didn't love her brother so much."

" We have to stop this  thing, then!" Draco yelled. "There must be a way!"

Edna sighed. "For once," she said, " I'm out of ideas."

I closed my eyes, sleep starting to prey upon me. Then, like every night before, I heard it. A loud screaming noise. I shot up out of the bed, clutching my head. When it first started, it was a harmless noise, that would sound out for about half an hour. Thinking everybody else could hear it, I asked Ovaro if he heard it. He said he had heard nothing. I growled low as the noise got even louder. It started to get so loud that I thought it was every where. I hissed in pain, as it sounded like a person screaming without end. My eyes start to water, my mind begging the noise to stop.

" Help," I whispered, thinking that no one would be able to hear me since it was so loud. But I knew that the others didn't hear it. I bit my lower lip, blinking the tears away. The noise wouldn't stop. It just wouldn't. I was leaning to the left side of the bed, when I suddenly fell off. I snarled as my elbow hit the floor. I had to take my hands away from my ears. I did just that. I couldn't explain how loud it was. I grasped my elbow, the pain of my funny bone being hit, and the pain the sound was causing was overwhelming. I felt like screaming. I curled myself in a ball, my hands over my ears again. After what seemed like hours, the noise stopped. It just stopped. I swallowed and opened my eyes. I breathed in and out of relief.

No one knows what I go through every night. No one knows the pain I have to endure. I growled to myself in my head.

No one knows the pain my brother endured when he died either.

Frank peered around a corner, then looked back.

"What do you you see, Frank?"

"Call me by my real name, Buster."

"But Frank is your real name."

"Call me Fast-Forward, got it? I'm trying to keep my identidy here."

Buster was a pain at times. He was the agent Frank got paired with after Frank joined the agency. Frank tried to make him call him by his agent name, but he just kept forgetting. Anyway, Buster has super-strength, and Frank has speed. But you thought only superheroes could have super powers? Well, secret agents can have them too.

"Ok, nevermind, Buster. I didn't see anything. But I need you to keep quiet, oka--?" Frank tried to finish, but before I could, screams came from outside the alleyway. Buster and I ran outside of th alley, only to find a villain wreaking havoc. Typical. The villain turned to us, and cackled evilly.

"Well well well, if it isn't Fast-Forward, my long-awaited arch-enemy," the crook growled.

"Well well well, if it isn't tweedle-dum on a floating donut," Frank returned.

"Floating donut? Bah! This is a high-technology hovercraft!" said the criminal. "And my name is Dr. Darkness!"

"Whatevs, Dr. Dumbo, I'm still gonna call you tweedle-dum," Frank said simply. Dr. Darkness roared with anger and lunged. Frank kickboxed him down to the pavement, while Buster crunched the hovercraft into pieces. The crowd cheered, but Frank told Buster to distract them while he cut through and escaped. He walked up a wall, did a backflip for style, and disappeared onto the roof. He slumped down and sighed.

I only wish the other supers were here, Frank thought. He even missed Layla. Draco was his best friend. And Aveleen... well, you know. That was different.

Frank texted Buster, and headed back to the agency.

Aveleen paced around the room.

"Well, how do we stop this thing?"

"I don't know."

Aveleen sighed and raked her fingers through her hair. She heard a whir and looked outside. There was a blur speeding along the ground.

"Frank!"

He looked up, shocked. "Aveleen?!"

She grinned. "C'mon in!"

Squeak, your post was hilarious. I thought it was pretty funny. Great post. :D On with the rp!

I glared at the floor, my fingernails digging into my palms.

" Why did you do it, Layla?" the rehabilitation lady asked gently. I growled and looked up, my yellow eyes gleaming with anger.

" He got on my nerves," I hissed.

" Now, Layla, we've been through this before, no growling, no snarlin-" I cut her off by leaping up out of the chair.

" I'll say what I want to say, and do what I want to do!" I roared at her, but suddenly fell to the ground, writhing in pain. The Container Collar around my neck buzzed, sending little electricity sparks into my neck, and throughout my whole body. The lady sighed.

" That's enough for today. Put her back in her cell."

Aveleen hugged Frank as she, Draco, and he sped towards the boy. He turned into a wolf and snarled.

"Who're you? Get off my turf."

"Well, stop robbing random buisnesses to suit your fancy and we will get off your turf," Aveleen huffed.

The wolf- boy grinned. "You have to catch me first."

He sprayed ice and ran off as Draco melted the street.

"We have to go after him!" snarled Draco.

"I'll cut him off, Aveleen- I mean Echo- grab him from behind. Draco can melt the street ice."

Aveleen grinned. "Got it," she said as Frank ran off.

I gently hit my head against the wall repeatedly. I was bored out of my mind.

" Layla Evermore?" a guard asked, walking up to the door of my cell.

" What?" I asked.

" You've been released," the guard explained and opened the door. My eyes lit up with excitement.

" Finally! See ya next time Ovaro!" I waved at the hulkish figure who waved his fingers back, his lips curled in a smirk. I walked out of Belle Rever as fast as I could. After I was a safe distance out, I shifted and ran home.

~ later ~

" Home sweet home," I took a deep breath, entering my house. It looked pretty simple. It wasn't big, it wasn't small.

" Oh, how I missed you couch," I ran my hand over the couch, when a light bulb went off in my head.

" FRIDGE!" I leaped around, rushing over to it.

" Oh, how I missed you too! And the food you behold!" I opened the door, and stared at the steak and the sushi and the sodas that were on the shelves.

" Oh, and the bed! I miss you, too, bed!" I yelled towards the direction of my room. Ok, I might have gone a little crazy over the years of living with myself. But I actually wasn't alone. I took out a large tray of sushi, turned on the tv, and place the tray on the couch. I left the living room, and entered my room.

" Let's see now," I mumbled, as I felt the wall that my bed was placed up against. There was a large space of wall that was right next to my bed. I pushed it gently, and it opened up.

" Heheheh," I chuckled, as I walked into the dark entrance. The wall closed up behind me, and right as it did that, the stone walls of the cave lit up with torches. I walked through the tunnel, until it opened up into a large cave. Well, it actually looked like a throne room. There was a large chair, a few couches here and there, and lots of shelves. On the left and the right of the cave were two short tunnels that opened up into caves as well.

" Hello my beauties," I breathed out, staring at the cases filled with jewels. I walked up to a sapphire and smirked.

" They got up to a one hundred million for your return. Aren't you valuable," I chuckled, picking it out of the case tenderly, inspected it, then put it back.

" You say hi to the gems first?" A growl sounded out, as a scorion stalked out of the left tunnel.

" Ember! My baby!" I smiled, and rushed over to her, my arms going around her.

" Did you think I forgot about you?" I asked, smirking, knowing her answer.

" Yes." I laughed.

" Let's go get the others and eat some sushi and watch people make fools of themselves on American Idol, shall we?"

Ember's face lit up.

" Guys, our leader has returned, and she's letting us eat the sushi, too!"

Tes scowled as she entered the clearing. The petty criminal scorion who thought of herself as a criminal was nearby. She acted like she was so great for escaping a few times. Ha. Tes had never been caught. She powered down and recharged, waking up after a few minutes. She slunk away from the clearing.

Soon, Nightmare, very soon.

Meanwhile, Aveleen kept running after Bradey with Frank and Draco.......

I am more into the humor than the sad. It's my style, bro.

Bradey--

I laugh. It was fun to be a burgler, annoying heros that never seem to get me. I trip a nearby person, which tele-something-something bumped into him and soon everyone else was tangled up. I chuckled and ran into the forest. This was the life. Tripping people, stealing from grannys, watching anime, and all that good stuff.

Oh, look. Here is the sassy burgler's house. the kitty cat's house. the thorny no good, very bad layla's house. Goodie. And her lion buddies too.

Great.

Lovely.

Wonderful.

And now here she comes, doing her sassy stuff at me and waving her hair. Show off. I smack her and say, "I know I know, you think you look beautiful, but you don't have to go ripping your hair into everyone's way."
