Fairytale RP!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Fairytale RP!!!

Fairytale RP!!!

Basically what you do is take any character from a fairytale and give them their own quirks. (For example, Snow White has a bakery where she sells apple themed stuff, Dorothy is obsessed with hiking, ETC.) Your characters can be villians as well. This will be set in modern times. If anyone has any ideas for the plot, they're certainly welcome :).

There are a few rules:

-Please only take one character for now. Depending on how many people we get, I will let you make another character if you want to. It's unfair to others if you take all the "good" characters.

-Please spend time working on your writing and thinking about it! I want this to be a quality over quantity RP, so I would rather you post one amazing character entry a week over ten average ones.

-No OP characters, please. The villians can be slightly OP, but other than that I would like all characters to be equally powered.

I think that's it! Here's the character sheet:

Name:

Age:

Original character:

Personality:

Appearance:

Backround:

Hobbies:

Powers:

Strengths & Weaknesses:

And I think that's it!

Oh wait! I forgot a rule.

-Have fun! Yes, it's super cliche, but this RP is just for fun. Please don't get mad at anyone else and try to treat everyone who joined with respect.

I'll post my charrie soon!

~Muffette~

"Oof!"

I fall onto the ground and glare up at whoever knocked me down. "Hey! Watch it!"

"I'm so sorry!" He reaches out his hand and pulls me up. I scan him up and down.

Oh my tuffet, he's cute. No, not cute-GORGEOUS. His blue eyes practically melt me. And his hair-the perfect shade of ashy blonde. And his tan-don't get me started!

I regain my composure and brush myself off. "It's no problem." I flash him a smile. "I'm Muffette," I stick my arm out for a handshake.

"Arthur," he replies, grasping my hand. I melt on the inside, but try not to let it show. We go our seperate ways.

As I walk down the street, I take in the sight of a white layer of snow covering everything. Although I don't particularly enjoy the cold, winter does give plenty of opportunities for adorable outfit choices. I smile down at my super cute plaid infinity scarf, green jacket, fingerless gloves, and brown lace-up boots.My bow is the exact same pattern as my scarf. I grasp in my hand a Starbucks cup of hot chocolate-hold the whipped cream and two ice cubes, please.

I enter the theatre and immediately feel warmth flooding over me. A huge smile finds its way onto my face, and this time it's not forced. I make my way to the rehearsal room, and plop down my messenger-style rehersal bag onto the floor. Looks like I'm the only one here.

A girl walks into the room, with this totally adorable blue hairstyle. She looks new.

I walk up to her. "Did you dye it? I've been begging my mom if I can, but-" she cuts me off.

"It's natural." I smile my signature ready-to-shake-hands smile. I straighten up and introduce myself.

"I'm Muffette, Muffette Miller, but you can call me Muffy. What's your name, Blue?" She grins.

"Close, it's Azure."

I look Azure up and down. Her outfit is super cute. I make a decision. "You wanna sit with me?"

~~~
"Bye Azure!" I smile and blow her a kiss. (Author's note: PLATONICALLY, OK? XD) During the rehearsal, I'd gotten to know her better, and she seemed actually super cool.
There's something magical about rehearsal. As soon as you step into the theatre, all your problems dissapear.
But as soon as you step back out? They all come back to hit you in the face.
I groan, loudly, as I realize it's the first day of school tomorrow. I already pulled a few strings and got my schedule early. Also, I may or may not have changed a few of the lesser classes I have to things I excel in.
(Author's note: I have no idea how many periods their school has, but mine has eight, so I'm going with that.)
First period-History. I'm pretty good at that.
Second period-Honours English. Ew, hope no one thinks I'm a nerd.
Snack break
Third period-Algebra. Just-why do we even need that class.
Fourth period-Computor
Fifth period-Study hall!!
Lunch break
Sixth period-Chemisty. Ugh.
Seventh period-Gym!! Eww, too much sweat for me. I'll have to get a doctor's note.
Eight period-Language. I'm taking French.
I trudge back home, all traces of my smile gone from my face. I stop for a few seconds to fix my pout so that it looks cute. I stomp back to my house, ready for ice cream therapy-and then throwing it all up.
~Chester~
I like to be informed. If you know me, you know this. Tink calls it OID-Obssessive Informational Disorder. So I check the news all the time. Instead of the normal boring events of what goes on in this town, I see a familiar face-Red. Why am I not surprised.
I sigh and log off of the computor. I grab a bag of trail mix to go, and hop down the stairs, lacing my sneakers at the same time. "I'm going out, Mrs. Witherspoon!" I don't wait for an answer as I rush out the door to Red's place.
I walk into her room, opening her door. "Really Red?"
She just shrugs. "I thought the news was boring today."
I walk up to her. "What was it about?" She types something into her computor, and the old news stories pop back up. "Local grocery store discontinues alvocado sales, Bo Peep's sheep Leopold Winthrop turns 100, Dunkin Donuts has a new hazelnut flavored lip balm." She turns around. "See? You didn't miss anything."
I grin and shrug. "Hey, you know I'm really interested in discontinuing avocados. Red glares at me and rolls her eyes. I laugh and she punches me. I wince. "Ow!"
More later, I want to post this before I accidentally delete it :P
Oooh, Cappy says Pipn! That's cool.
Okay, let's give this a shot. I'm still having a little bit of trouble imagining this universe right-- fairies?! Is magic normal, or what?-- but we'll see what I can do.
Tink~
It's freezing today.
There's not much for me to do in the garden, seeing as it's winter and everything stops growing, but I still go out to check. The whole backyard is mine to command: I have a few fruit trees, many flowers, and a small vegetable patch. I have to make sure that all of my veggies have been picked, nothing's encased in ice, and the hose isn't frozen. I pluck the final orange off of my tree: it still isn't ready, but it's also the end of the season.
I go back inside merely to see my mother waiting for me with a frown on her face.
My mother is a quarter fairy. She's lucky: she has beautiful, elegant, gossamer wings that spread out behind her back. She can even fly with them, although most human-fairy hybrids' wings are simply for show and can't lift them off the ground. I didn't get her wings, but I did get a bit of magic and her pointy ears. I hate my ears.
The magic is okay though. I don't really have any, even if I say I do; I can take the fairy dust out of my locket if I want to and change it, so that it's poisonous or something, but I can't do anything of my own. Unlike my mother, who takes pixie dust from where there was nothing and sprinkles it on everything in the house.
"You," she says calmly, "still haven't taken your food out to the fairies."
I groan. The summer fairies, come winter, can't supply themselves with food really. Because my great-grandma was a summer fairy, my mother feels obliged to help them out in the winter. Grudgingly, I go into my room to look for a coat.
I pull on a wool sweater and then my favorite green peacoat. No matter how cold it is, I always wear my peacoat, even if it's on top of three wool sweaters. I also pull on a pair of warm leggings-- the inside is lined with some sort of fur, but the outside just looks normal.
Putting mufflers around my ears and grabbing the bag of food, I go out into the winter air.
--LATER--
With a cup of cocoa around my freezing hands (I put on earmuffs but not gloves, I reflect in frustration), I scroll through lines and lines of news, giggling slightly. Rose has hacked into the system yet again. I guess that Chester's already there-- I checked an hour ago and she hadn't tampered with it, so she must have while I was out-- so I grudgingly get into my gear again and call "I'm going out!" to the house, which suddenly vacated itself. Maybe Chester and Rose and I can go to Starbucks or something.
Aelin~
My arrow shoots through the air silently, then cleanly lodges itself in a rabbit's head. It takes all of my effort not to set the whole forest aflame as I whoop with joy. I can't help but notice the mist in the area evaporate, though, as the air heats up. I had let several other animals get away today already, and I was hungry. And so, apparently, was Rowan.
"How long does it take you to catch a single stupid rabbit?" he growls as I walk into the little hut we call home.
"The same length of time it takes you to build a fire hot enough to cook it," I snap back. This is the endless game we play. A death match of trading words and insults back at each other. At least I can say that it gives me a rich vocaulary. Speaking of which, "I've got to go to school," I sigh, dropping my bow and striding back out the door.
I take my usual rooftop route, not wanting to deal with other humans. I see a fellow villager by the name of Red heading the opposite way a few rooftops over and nod a hello. She doesn't notice me, but I don't care. I've better things to do with my time. At least school is easy enough that I don't need to put effort into getting good grades. The 'teacher', someone not much older than me, holds meetings each day. Not many people show up, but I consider myself one of the frequenters. The material covered is often way above our grade level, but we are all smart enough to handle it.
When school is over, I am the first to slip out the door and disappear into the shadows of mid afternoon. "Aelin of the Wildfire," the sun fairies whisper and point as I walk down the middle of the rooftops. They know more about my past than I am comfortable with, but they have also been a guiding light in my darkness, so I make peace with them whenever possible. I pause and do my best not to flinch as the all fly towards me, no doubt to get at least as small shred of heat. I heat the air around me, and they sigh, basking in warmth. Sun fairies are really not accustomed to the winter chill. I don't speak with them any further than a brief greeting as I continue walking. Below me, I see Tink emerging from her house carrying what I assume is food for the sun fairies. I leap down, landing silently in front of her. "Hello," I nod in greeting.
"Hi, Aelin" she responds, continuing on to leave out the food in her usual spot. She doesn't seem to want to talk, so, with a wave, I wander away, leaving the faeries to swarm around the food. As soon as I reach the rooftops again, I break into a run, my heightened awareness helping my keep my footing as the houses blurr past on either side of me. As I see Rowan's hut ahead, I slow and straighten into a normal walking stance, my breath evening out in seconds. At the last moment, I swerve around the house and walk into the woods instead, deciding that I wanted to do some training on my own today. I practice making shields of flame until the moon is high in the sky and I've scorched the earth around me. As I practiced, I never noticed the human eyes watching me from the shadows at the edge of the clearing.
Just to clarify, do we already know our powers? Also, am I allowed to be demi-fae, so I have some of their features and it explains why I have powers? If not, just disregard all mention of magic/ fae heritage in this post.
Jack-
It's a normal school day in the warehouse. Most of the regular kids show up, along with some newbies, who heard about it by word of mouth. This means that nearly twenty children are currently attending school in my one room house. I'm gonna need a bigger place.
Red-
School sucks. First, I have history, and then in the halls I see another girl goggling at Arthur. My crush. You think she would back off every once and awhile. It's not like she has a chance with him anyway. Later in teh day comes lunch, which normally isn't so bad except that today a group of bullies cornered me and made me give them what little lunch money I had, leaving me without food. Normally, I would have kicked their butts, but I'd just kind of hacked all of the major news sites and that makes a girl want to keep a low profile. All I want is the day to be over. Soon.
BTW, Azure moved up a grade so she is in high school right now.
~Azure
I sit at my own lunch table, hunched over a pice of clock work. Suddenly I hear a commotion comeing from a table near by. A girl in red is cornered, the bullies demanding lunch money. I shrink down even smaller, hoping they don't come to me as well. As luck would have it, they do. "Well well well, if it isn't Azura." They snicker.
"What do you want?" I say between clenched teeth. A guy, Danken sits down on my side of the table and I instictivly scoot away.
"Oh nothing," The leader grins. "Just a bit of fun."  I frown and search his face for any clue on what they're up to this time. Suddenly I feel a searing pain, right from where my wings are.
"Ow!" Sure enough, on of them has grabbed me by the wings, pulling me just high enough that my legs are dangling. "Cut it out!" I growl. Another one grins, pulling out a pair of sciccors. My eyes widen, "I-I didn't mean it that way!"
"You know what we want Azura,"
I falter, "Fine, but I can't grant every wish you know."
AHHH! Someone please help Azure because you guys can probably guess how horible thier wishes would be!!!
Red~
Just as I've managed to evade the bullies, I see they've found yet another target. A little girl in blue, very pretty. With blue wings. Definitely a fairy. They start to dangle her by her wings, and one of them pulls out scissors. That's it. I will happily let people target me, but not someone as defenseless as a girl that has probably skipped grades, and is definitely 'the runt of the litter.' I quickly change out of my red sweatshirt and stow it behind a trash can. I take off my glasses and quickly shake off my shoes. There. I should look like a completely different person. I quickly check my reflection in one of the lunch room windows. I still look like a girl, but not at all like me. The only thing that could possibly give me away are my eyes. They tend to stand out to people. I run to the fairy girl and the bullies.
"Cut it out." I demand, calmly.
One of the leaders shifts to look at me. Oof. He's double my height, and those muscles... let's just hope if he runs after me, I'll be to quick for him.
"What did you say, twerp?"
"Leave her alone."
The big guy motions for his cronies to drop the fairy girl. She falls to the ground, but it's not to high a drop, and it doesn't look like she's hurt. The leader points at me, and then makes a scissor motion with his hands. The message is obvious. Cut her.Before they get close to me, I take off running, staying close enough to the bullies that they won't abandon the chase. I look back at the fairy girl, one last time. I only get a glimpse, but it's enough to catch the two words she mouths to me.
Thank you.
Greta~
A girl is pinned down by some older boys. Is her name Azura? Oh well. Might as well go over. Quickly and quietly I move over. One boy has scissors. My best shot is to distract them. Time to move.
"Hey idiotic annoying people! Please put that girl down!" I yell. One of them comes over, looking tall and imposing. I dart between his legs, grab my penlight, and shine it in their eyes. Now if o only there was some way to get to Azura.......... Wait. Don't I have scissors? Grabbing them, I quickly aim as if to throw. The thugs look somewhat intimidated. They drop Azura. Once she dusts herself off, I ask for one wish. "Could I wish for their shoelaces to be square-knotted together?"
Ignore that if somebody else already did something to help.
