The Zoo (RP!)

Chatterbox: Inkwell

The Zoo (RP!)

The Zoo (RP!)

Alright, so it's been awhile since I joined an RP and I sorta need a little boost in creativity, so here a new RP! You're an animal in a zoo. But there's a twist.

You've been trapped in this zoo for as long as you can remember. Hidden from the people, the only ones allowed to see you are the great powers that rule the world. You don't know who exactly they are, you take no notice of human nonsense, but you can sense the authority around their voices, their poster, the way they look at you as if you were nothing. Only they, with guns and large, deadly objects, walk up to your small cage. Sometimes they knock you unconscious, and when you wake, you notice scars and cuts that weren't there before. So many of The Zoo has been knocked and taken away, never to be heard of again, that it has become normal to wake up one day to another lonely cage. But you want to do something about this. You want to change this. You want to live in the world, you want to be free.

But it's nearly impossible, the humans would never allow you to be seen.

Why?

Because you don't exist.

And as far as they're concerned, you never will.

~

Dun dun dun!!!!!

Rules~

1. You may choose or create a mythical creature for The Zoo. Please no mary sues, I will not accept dragons, griffins, unicorns, or Pegasus without unique characteristics. Also, try to be unique. I would rather not have a million flying dragons and magical unicorns.

2. You may have as many characters as you like. Password is crow. These creatures don't tend to have parents, because after they are bred their parents are usually 'knocked'. You may have siblings.

3. No OP magical characters. Actually, no magic at all. You're a mythical creature, you can have gills, wings, cool-looking claws, and fangs, but no magic.

4.  None of your characters remember their past lives if they were caught from the wild and not bred in captivity.

5. The global powers can be really anyone, from Russia's military force to Japan's military force, though I do prefer if the 'global powers' were top generals. The password is actually raven. This can develop as the plot moves forward.

6. The plot can move anywhere, though the main idea is that the creatures escape, and find a way to overthrow the humans or try to anyway.

7. I'd rather not have any human-based mythical creatures, but if it's relevant to the plot, maybe I'll accept one or two. The password is both of the ones listed before.

Alrighty, here's the charrie sheet! Sorry if I was a little bland and all over the place, just ask if you're confused with my randomness ideas.

Name (If you have one):

Age (about):

Gender (they don't have to have one):

Mythical creature name/assumption by humans (what you most look like):

Appearance (detailed plz!):

Personality (it will advance during the plot):

Hopes and dreams (what they hope to accomplish by escaping):

Fears and weaknesses (self-explanatory):

Strengths (they don't have to know them):

Any known living family members:

Password (ya go look for it):

Other/ships and stuff:

My charrie sheet!!!!!

Name (If you have one): Some call her 'Tigress' others call her 'Amaranth' she goes by either

Age (about): Fairly young, but not too young. About late teenage years.

Gender (they don't have to have one): Female

Mythical creature name/assumption by humans (what you most look like): Suea Peek

Appearance (detailed plz!): A giant tiger towers over the humans. The size of one and a half full grown men. She is the color of ivory, with a golden hinge around the oddly patterned black tiger stripes. One of her eyes is a piercing red, the color of Amaranth, while the other is a sparkling teal-blue. She has large fangs for her size, much like a saber-toothed cat. From her back springs bat-like wings, the bones feathered with iridescent colors not much different then a peacock's. The skin inbetween is a midnight blue, and down her spine the feathers came together to form a long feathered tail. Her claws are also very large, the same midnight blue as her wings. Her roar can kill a man, so her mouth is often bound.

Personality (it will advance during the plot): Timid, kind, has been abused too many times. She can't pay attention, she's very bad at it. Paces a lot. Restless. Have always wanted to fly. She's a fighter. Is the 'stronge personality' type. Makes dumb desitions in the heat of a moment. Lonley. Depressed. Fights her own battles, you could say. Has seen too many 'knocked'.

Hopes and dreams (what they hope to accomplish by escaping): She's always wanted to fly. She also wants everyone else to be safe, even at the cost of her own life. She wants her desendents to walk on the grass, and to fly in the sky. She wants everyone to be free.

Fears and weaknesses (self-explanatory): Afraid she'll be knocked, and can't fight back. Afraid she'll hurt someone, by accident. Afraid of the world, doesn't know if it's cruler than The Zoo. Afraid she'll fail everyone, and the humans will kill them all. Afraid of fear. Afraid of the demonds in her head.

Strengths (they don't have to know them):  She can fly, her roaring is so loud it can kill a human at close range, her teeth and claws are deadly of course.

Any known living family members: If anyone wants to make a brother I'm down!

Password (ya go look for it): Ya you thought I'd write it here. *snorts* Go find it yourself.

Other/ships and stuff: Open to shipping, no preferance, though love isn't the main thing on her mind. Oh, and there's a scar in the shape of a heart on her shoulder that she swore she was born with. Also, she's kept in an enclosure with chains around her paws, tightly dissabling the release of her claws, and a band around her snout. It unlocks at a certain hour every day so she can eat.

Welp that's it! Have fun with this y'all!

Eagna~

Chaos...

Thhe whole place is in chaos...

I frantically try to pick the lock with no avail, giving up, I did the one thing I can do, I bang on it wit h my head. Soon, my restraints fell off

I envy those with arms...

It hurts but I must try, something in my mind is begging me to try, tellling me I will be needed, but what can I do? Sure I can cause illness but it takes approximately ten minutes to refill my sac.

Suddenly the door swings openopen as I try to bang it open. I almost fell on the waterbird that freed me.

"I-I rusted away the lock, are you okay?" The waterbird looked over me

"Yes, I'm fine. Quicky let's get out of her-"

The door swing opens to reveal a bunch of humans with masks and armor, holding guns.

Wait, how do I know that word?

No matter, I could see this getting ugly.

One aims at me, I quickly take flight and dive at the human. Sinking my talons into his mask. He panics as he tries to throw me off but that was unwise, I took the mask with me. He looked at me before I released my poison.

Should I mention it has the ph level of vinegar?

He screams as the Morbusocius gets into his eyes. I look around to see the cat with butterfly wings struggling to escape her cage. I quickly fly up and start gnawing at the lock. Making it fall.

"Go, now!" I tell her.

I will live to see the rolling green hills again

Lyra~~~

I let out a roar as the animals revolt. I open my wings high, snapping the slender wire. I pull the chain off my leg and race over to the door. I claw it open and charge into the fray. I can taste freedom as whip my tail around, daring any of the zoo keepers to come take me. I race into the fray of animals, feeling the freedom of running without stop. I open my wings as I run and flap them hard. I feel a slight glimmer of fear due to the fact that i've never acually flown before. But soon I'm flying over the walls of the zoo to the wilderness beyond.

I am free.

Hey guys!! I know it’s been a couple weeks, my family went on a trip and there wasn’t any WiFi. But I read everything and caught up!!

Iris~

My cages trembles. Tigress roars. I wake up and crash into the ceiling again. The roar scares me so much that I try to spread my wings, emmiting a shock down my spine. Everything fades in and out. All around me, chaos ensues. I want to be snapping at my chains like the others. But I can’t. I lay paralyzed on the floor of my cage, swinging back and forth in terror.

Then the stag creature shatters 99’s cage. Water explodes. I am soaked. This is it. I lay on the cement, my head banging against the floor and my mouth filled with water. I can’t even choke. I want to snap the tag off. I want to be free. But I can’t. I’m dying.

And then my cage is pulled down. The bear creature, who everyone calls Mama Bear, pulls the bars of my cage apart. She has fire in her eyes, a kind of rage. With one motion she picks me up off the ground and carries me in her arms. Protecting me. I’m going to be okay. Maybe. Until the humans come.

they have guns.

Petal isn't as innocent as she seems,

GORE WARNING

~~~
The seccond that I am out of those dreadful chains I dash to a human who is cowering behind some cages that the other creatures failed to notice. I sink my teeth into his heel and he cries out in pain, kicking at me as he falls and struggles to escape my grasp. Then I feel a rush of an emotion, Bludlust, as I jump at his face and claw at it as I rip his throat out. The metalic taste of his blood on my tounge is a strange sensation but this new emotion filles me with a newfound strength that might give me the upper hand against more humans. I snarl viciously as I attack another human.
~~~

Petal kills a scientist and it ends up strengthining her so she proceeds to attack humans.

Told ya she wasn't innocent.

Listening to Hamilton's Battle of Yorktown while writing this...

~Razorclaw

I spread my wings, chewing on the remains of the wooden sign, and let loose a roar. The workers were scrambling in the area-beyond-the-metal-door as I went through the broken doorframe. They had whips, tasers, and a short black L-shaped stick, they held by the short end of the L. There was a hole through the stick. What was that thing? I had never seen it before. A large bang, and I felt something bounce off my wing. I glanced at the guy holding the L-stick, and he seemed very frightened. I lept past him, mouth open toward a window. My eyes were focused on the light that came out of it. It was brilliant, and blue, but a brighter shade than the gray-blue of my feathers. I ran, pushed aside whatever was in my way. I needed to see the light.

I bite open the cage door and bite myself out of the chains. I scamper down onto the floor. All of the animals are running and making whatever sound they make. I just run silently. I run and run and finally I reach the big doors. The ones that lead to the unknown. The outside. I step aside as the bigger animals ram on the door. Finally it burst open to reveal...

Humans. In a line. Holding L's. Aimed at us. I see the flying animals take flight to get away. I look up to see wire. It's curly and going accross the whole area. There are fences everywhere. I feel defeated. The flying animals get away. The non flying ones though. We are stuck. On the ground. With the humans and the L's. Great. I love the world I never got to live in. I sigh.

Literally stuck on everything!

Pax~

Though I have never run my heart out ever before, as soon as I am free, something I never knew was there seems to click into place, and I streak away through the chaos. Throwing up my head, I let out a howl of triumph. Freedom is so close...

And then I, along with other creatures without wings, am forced to skid to a halt. A line of humans tower in our way, and they are holding the bang-sticks. One foolish rabbit-cat hybrid darts forward, unaware of the danger. One shot rings out, hurting my ears. I cringe at the noise. And there is silence. The poor little creature lies still upon the hard, cold floor, his eyes once briefly full of hope now blank and glazed over.

I feel sick. We're trapped. Our only chance at freedom, gone.~

~Tigress

My breath caught in the cool winter air. It was winter. I don't know how I know that word. Winter. Winter-cold, snowy, everything is dying. Or already dead.

Winter.

Is it our winter? Is it time for us to die, or go into hibernation for a really, really long time? Will we all die in this cold air?

I'm at the head of the residents of The Zoo. I see another flying cat take to the sky. Followed by others. The humans don't look up. There must be an encloser around this. A base. All I can see are white walls in every direction. They seem to glow, about a yard or five away from us. I could feel the energy running through them.

The flying creatures disappear in the hazy, cloudy air. It's almost smokey. Every breath I take seems to claw out my lungs. It smells like death. Smoke and death. Winter.

By now, I've decided that I hate winter.

My eyes lock with one of the humans. He's wearing green colors, like that of a forest. He has a metal mask, and his clothes look to be enforced.

He holds a gun.

There were others with the same colors. Some were wearing white, like the humans we always see. Some were wearing strange markings on their green.

They can't kill us all. No. Whatever they needed us for, they still do, I know, and those they still need will not die. But others...won't be so lucky.

But if they can't kill us, we have an advantage.

I smiled.

And then I roared.

They winced, for a second after, but they were ready when we surged at them. The one I had locked eyes with doged my claws. He was fast compared to me. I didn't know how to use my claws, I had bearly the chance to walk, let alone run on crunchy grass.

Yes, it was grass. Not as bad as the Zoo, so far.

I think.

His bullet skimmed my shoulder. It didn't look as if he was trying to kill me. Maybe they need me. Maybe I have an advantage.

I opened my wings.

I had never flown before, as far as I knew, but theres a first time for everything, isnt there?

I leaped into the air. And flapped my wings. My claws brushed the earth as I strained with every muscle, all my willpower. Humans and animals alike lept out of my way. And then I didn't feel ground.

I was flying.

It was pretty unnerving actually.

I tipped my head back down to the ground and snatched a human with my claws. He pointed the gun at my wing. But before he could do anything, I had thrown him into the white wall.

The battle had gone silent now. Silent to watch what happened next.

There were a shriek and a sizzle, and then he burst into ashes. And the white wall was no longer white. I felt sick. Could we fly over these, or did it stretch all the way around, farther up then we could see? I flapped my wings, hovering. Were we trapped under something? A human backup plan?

Well, there was only one way to find out.

Hey any ideas on where this place is that's hidden from the world? Maybe its underwater?
