@Princess P-- The schedule is great!

Banier—

I slid into my seat in the back row in math. I hated math eversince I had come here. I didn’t really like doing math at all. It was boringand blunt while I could be outside messing around with Jacob. Two girls walkedin and took there seats somewhere in the middle row. They spoke quietly withone another until Mr. Mangodia came in.

The man was bald with medium pale skin and dark eyes. He wasalso really short. One person I could mess with! Ha!
He walked to the front and turned around, looking at us curtly.

“Good Morning, Students.” His voice was deep and gruff.

Everyone stood up except for myself and Jacob who just satthere, looking bored at the teacher. After the students had seated them selves,Mr. Mangodia turned to me.

“And why, boy, did you not stand up?”

“There’s no point in exercising my legs right now.”

The teacher madly glared at me. “Your name?”

“Egan.”

“My office after school.”

“I’m always at school.”

“5.00pm.”

Then he turned to the board and started to right sums. Iripped a page from my notebook and threw it at one of the blond girls.

Will you go to the ballwith me?

She picked the paper up and looked annoyed back. Then sheunfolded the paper.

Okay, I didn't post yesterday, so I'm going to post today. Do you think we should put some bullies/mean girls into the story? Just an idea…What do you all think of it? I won't be offended if you don't like it. I'll just think up another idea. :-)  Oh, and how do we lose students in the MatoDyfi?

My post goes before Elizabeth M.'s, okay?

//Kataira//

After we finished eating, Artemis and Eli went back to their rooms. I followed them and stepped into mine. Seeing as I had a few minutes before classes, I pulled out my latest book and sat down on my bed to read. A few minutes later, Jasmine stepped in. "Hi, Kataira!" she said. Then she looked doubtful. "You are Kataira, aren't you?"

I looked up from my book.

"Hi, Jasmine! Yes, I'm Kataira. Eli's in her room getting ready for classes," I replied.

"Good," Jasmine told me. "I was afraid I would mix you two up again!" I laughed.

"That's fine if you do. We don't mind. We're kind of used to it," I told Jasmine. "Are you ready for our first day of classes?" I asked.

"Yeah, kind of," she replied. "What is your first class?"

"Math. What about you?" I asked as Jasmine flipped her brown ponytail and plopped down on the bed next to me.

"Math, same as you," she replied. We both giggled, glad to be in the same classes.

"What does your schedule look like?" I asked, pulling my schedule out of my backpack.

"Here's mine," Jasmine said. We compared them and discovered that we were in most of the same classes. "Good," Jasmine told me. "You can help me study."

"Sounds good," I laughed. "But only if you help me, too!"

"Sure!" Jasmine said. "It's a deal." We shook hands. Then I looked at the clock and jumped off the bed.

"Jasmine!" I said, hurriedly stuffing my schedule back into my backpack. "It's five to nine! We're going to be late!" Jasmine grabbed her backpack and followed me out the door. We practically ran to classroom 12 on floor 2, slowing down to a fast walk when we spotted teachers in the halls. We hung our backpacks on the rack outside the room, grabbed our books, and burst into our classroom just as the bell rang. The last two available seats were next to each other in the back row, closest to the door. I slid into the first one, and Jasmine sat in the one next to me. I looked around the class and spotted Artemis, Alamea, and Eli. They were the only girls that I knew in the class. The others were either first or second year kids. Alamea and Artemis were in front of Jasmine and me, and Eli was next to Jasmine.

"Hey, Eli," I heard Jasmine whisper to my twin. "Would you like to trade places with me so that you could sit next to your sister?" Eli winked at me, and I immediately knew what she was thinking. Jasmine's main reason to switch with Eli was not to let her sit next to me (though we didn't mind sitting next to each other. Actually, we rather liked it!). Her real reason was so that she could sit next to Jacob, the coolest boy in our year group! Well, at least that's what Jasmine told me. Eli must have whispered back that she would switch, for Jasmine was getting into Eli's seat, and Eli was getting into the seat next to me.

"I heard that Jacob invited Jasmine to the school dance," she whispered to me.

"And…" I asked.

"She said yes!" Eli whispered.

"What?" I asked her. I didn't think that Jasmine would accept it. She liked to see how many boys could ask her out before she said yes to any of them. There were still quite a few weeks before the dance, so I was expecting Jasmine to make her decision a few days before, as usual.

"She did! I saw her! She was standing outside our room last night talking to him. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I was walking out on my way to the bathroom, and I couldn't help overhearing them," Eli told me. We stopped talking as our teacher walked in. I couldn't wait to see what our teacher was like!

I am really sorry Elizabeth M. I wasn't able to see your post so I just went ahead. Can both of our posts happen somehow?

Princess P., I put that Freya was going to the dance with Jacob. It doesn't have to be that way, but I just got kind of confused when you said Jasmine was.

And Elizabeth M, which two girls walked into Banier's class? i am not really sure.

//Darius//

I was just coming out of math when somebody bumped into me. I looked and saw it was that girl Callen. Well this is a good a time as ever, I thought. "Callen, would you go to the dance with me?" I asked. "Uh, yeah. Sure," she said, a blush rising on her cheeks.

I nodded and walked towards my next class, history. As I walked I saw one of those newspaper vending machines and decided to buy a newspaper. I walked over to it and put some money into the slot. I opened the door and took one. On the front page I saw the headline '
GENKUSUH, A PICK FOR THE MatoDyfi?'

I read through the article.  I really hope they pick it, I thought, they have to.

//Lily//

After history I went to ballet. I had been waiting what felt like forever to start dancing again, even though it had only been the summer. Freya was just as excited to be singing again.

We parted ways. I went to the dance studio (I think that is what you would call it). When I reached it I walked over to Ms. Bahar and hugged her. "Lilly, I am so glad you are back. Are you ready to start dancing again?" she said in her thick accent. "Yes. I practiced everything you taught me over the summer." "Good. Well it's almost time for class to start. You had better change quickly."

I did as she said and came back in the proper clothes for ballet. Everyone had arrived by now. Ms . Bahar called role and then she began.

Gosh, really sorry I haven't been posting!

//Callen//

I slid into my seat in literature after just being asked to the dance. My stomach flipped when I saw Banier walk into the room, unsure of what to say after having dated the past year. He slid into the seat next to me. (I spent forever looking to see what his schedule was, if this is wrong just ignore my post) "Soo. The dance is, what? 3 weeks?" he asked. "Yeah, I think so. Got any requests?"  I held my breath, relaxing when he answered. "Yeah, I asked Eli, in Math, haven't gotten a reply. (could it be Eli, I imagine them as a cute couple ;) Still waiting. You?" He looked at me, truthfully curious. I felt a pang of jealousy for Eli, but it eased. "Yeah, like, five seconds ago Darius asked me. I'm really excited. Heard Jacob's going with Jas, is that true? I haven't seen her alll day." He nodded. "Whoa. Didn't think she'd answer that quickly." Then Mrs. Egrid walked in. "This month we will be learning about poetry, anyone know of that?" Poh-i-tree. Say it with me class. Poetry. Good, good. Now we'll learn about..."

@Elizabeth D.-- Yeah, that's Ok. I meant we walked in but I don't know since you went with Freya...

@ZB-- Sure, it can be Eli but we can let Princess decide. Maybe she didn't even want to go with Banier... :)

@Princess P-- I don't know by "lose students," it just kind of added to suspense... Mean girls are fine!

Elizabeth D., sorry about that. I knew that Jacob had asked someone to go to the dance with him, but I couldn't remember who it was. I looked for it, but I didn't find it. So I just assumed that I had imagined it, so I paired Jasmine and Jacob together. I thought they would be a good match because I thought that Jacob was like a "cool" boy, and Jasmine was like a "cool" girl (but both in a nice way). Also, I remembered (or was it someone else?) that Jasmine was really pretty, and I knew that boys would be attracted to her, especially a "cool" guy like Jacob. :-)  Anyways, if Kat and ZB don't want their characters to be like that, that's fine by me. I just imagined them that way, and that's how my post came out, if you know what I mean.

Everyone, I've been having a hard time figuring out everyone's schedules, making sure I wrote the right people who were in each class in my posts, etc. I'm sure you all have, too. I figured, if no one really cares if everyone messes up their character's schedules, I don't think anyone would mind, right? For example, if ZB put that Callen was in gym with Eli at 10:30, but she really was in Literature at that time, I wouldn't mind. I'd just let it go. I mean, our schedules aren't the main thing in this RP, are they? It's really about the story and just writing, right? I just wanted to make sure that we were all on the same page about this. :-)

//Eli//

I walked with Kataira down the hall to our next class: History. Mr. Juste was our teacher. Callen and Banier were the only ones we knew in the class.

"Hey, Eli, remember when Banier passed you that note in math?" Kataira asked.

"Yeah," I said, knowing what she was getting at. "What about it?"

"What did he say?" she asked.

"What?" I told her.

"I said, what did the note say?" Kataira asked again.

"Oh, that note. Ummm, he just wanted to invite me to the dance," I told her.

"So? Have you given him a reply yet? He might want to know that you can't come so he could ask someone else," Kataira reminded me. I had already known that I wouldn't have been able to go, but deep down inside, I hoped I would.

"Yeah, I know. I should probably tell him now," I said spotting Banier down the hall. "Meet you in class, okay?"

"Okay, see ya!" Kataira replied, turning into the classroom.

"Hey, Banier!" I said.

"Hi, Strawberry!" he replied with a wink. As he had not been able to tell Kataira and me apart, he had taken to calling us both Strawberry. For our strawberry blonde hair, you know.

"It's Eli. Not Strawberry," I said ignoring his wink. I continued on. "Ummm, Banier?  I don't think I'll be able to go with you to the dance," I told him.

"Oh? And why is that? You're going out with Jacob?" he teased.

"No, Banier! That's Jasmine! And anyways, you know that I wouldn't mind going out with you, but I really can't," I scuffed the ground with my left shoe.

"Why?" Banier asked. It didn't look like he had any intention to stop asking me, so I told him.

"It's my Great Aunt Ethel. She sent us to this school with strict instructions. We're not to miss any homework, be let outside of the school boundaries, go to dances, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera," I sighed. Great Aunt Ethel could be a bother.

"That's fine, Eli," Banier told me.

"It is?" I asked incredulously. I was expecting him to keep pestering me to go.

"Yeah, it is. I mean, I know you would come if you could. I mean if it weren't for your Great Aunt Ethel. I'll just go out with someone else. Do you still want to be friends, though?" Banier asked. H could sometimes be a pest, especially when paired with Jacob, but this time he showed no signs of joking.

"Okay. I will," I agreed. "But just friends. None of that boyfriend girlfriend stuff. Just plain old friends, okay?"

"Deal," Banier said. We shook hands on it, and walked into class.

After history, which I found slightly boring, Banier found me in the hallway. "Hey, Straw…I mean Eli!" he yelled down the hall. Everyone turned to look at us, and I blushed.

"Banier, be quiet! And how did you know I was Eli?" I asked.

"I saw where you were sitting, and then I followed you out here," he explained.

"Stalker!" I smiled at him. Once we were friends, I knew I could joke around with him a little. "Anyways, what did you want to ask me?"

"I wanted to know if it was okay if I went with Karanah to the dance. I wanted to ask you before I asked her, you know, because of…" he sputtered.

"Banier! I already told you! We aren't a pair, okay? We're friends. Just FRIENDS," I sighed. I wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend. Another one of Great Aunt Ethel's rules.

"Yeah, okay, but I wanted to ask you first. What do you think? I have to go out with someone. You know how much Jacob would tease me if I didn't have a girl to go with!" Banier said pleadingly. I could definitely imagine that. Banier would have no peace at all from Jacob if he didn't find a girl to go with.

"Okay, you can go with Karanah. Have fun!" I told him. I didn't mind. I was actually glad that Banier had found a girl to go with.

"Okay, thanks, Eli. See you around!" Banier said.

"Sure, bye!" I called to him as he went back down the hallway.

That's fine. Who do you think that Lily should go with? She has to go to the dance with a popular guy because that's what would make sense. I think that Freya should go with Leif then.
I will post something tomorrow. I can't right now because I have to go to bed.

Callen is going with Darius. At least I think that's what I wrote. Banier is going with Karanah. Maybe I will just make someone up. Let's see... How about the person's name is Tahir. He'll be 5'10" (Because he has to be taller than Lily) with dark brown hair and brown eyes and olive skin.

I suppose that would be fine, but I am pretty sure that Princess P wrote that Banier was going with Karanah. Is Banier shorter than Lily because if he is could you make him taller? That is really a ridiculous question, but I don't want him to be shorter.

How tall are you? And I think it makes more sense if he goes with you because you're someone who posts and Karanah doesn't...

Yeah, Daruis is going with Callen.

//Callen//

I quickly packed my bag and left a completely tedious and boring literature class. When no teachers where in sight, I pulled up my bright blue socks and exchanged a black tie for a red one. After doing so, I met up with Jasmine and we walked towards the cafeteria. "I love your socks," I muttered quitely, so no teacher would hear. She smiled but didn't say anything, and we continued towards the lunchline. "So, Jacob asked you to the dance?" In all my life, I'd never seen Jasmine blush, but her face was pink. "Well, yeah. What's up with you and Banier, you two going together?" I looked at the ground, then back at her. "Nope. Remember, we broke up on the last day of school. He's going with Eli, I think. She won't say, but you could tell that they're in loooove. Actually, Darius asked me." "The sports freak? Honetly Cal, I thought you could do better." "No. Not the 'sports freak'. He's actually veery nice, and cute. And I like him. A lot. So I said yes. End of story." Jasmine rolled her eyes and turned her head. There he was. With her. Jacob. Elizabeth. Together. By the fountain. Elizabeth laughed at something Jacob had said. They sighed and watched the birds. Jacob did a classic, the whole 'yawn-and-put-arm-on-shoulder' thing. She blushed. He leaned in. They kissed. Kissed. Kissed. After what seemed forever they pulled apart. Elizabeth said good-bye. Jacob looked sad. She left. He sat on the bench, crossed his legs, arms on bench, looking around. Jasmine's eyes swelled up in tears. "Jas, look. Meet me, table 16. Get me lunch, you know my fav. I'll be there in a sec." "Callen, no. I can handle this myself." I didn't pay attention and pushed her away, stomping towards Jacob. He saw me and jumped up, an excited look on his face. "Callen! I've been wanting to tell you something! Elizabeth and I, we're-" "Yeah, I know alll about you and Elizabeth. So does Jasmine." He stepped back, realizing what we just watched. "Yeah, you better step back. Because I will maul your eyes out so you can't see another girl in your lifetime. This just isn't a habit, Jacob. It's hurting people. Jasmine, she just saw you and Elizabeth. And now you and Elizabeth can go to the dance together. I'll probably have to blow off my date so that I could spend the night with Jasmine. Thanks to you, I have to blow off Darius, who I really like. Just because of you and your stupid ways. I don't care that we're siblings. I don't care if we're twins. I don't care that we look alike, but I will never be like you. Because I care for people. You only care for yourself." With that I stomped away towards the cafeteria, towards a sniffling Jasmine, towards a soon-to-be- boyfriend who I have to ditch just because of Jacob. All because of Jacob. I walked into the cafeteria, towards table 16. Jasmine was sitting with a chicken sandwich and a fruit bowl, head bent and tears on her lap. To her right was a plate with grilled chese, carrot sticks, and fruit. Next to that Darius sat with the same thing. Breath in, breath out. Okay. I walked towards Jasmine, tapped her shoulder. "Hey, you okay?" She sniffled. "Yeah. This is a weird feeling. My chest is hurting." "Aww. I'm sorry. He broke your heart. That must suck." I slid in between Jas and Darius. Darius looked extremilly confused. "Hey, what's up, Cal?" I looked in his hazel eyes and said, "Look. Jacob and Elizabeth are back together. They're going to the ball together." He looked around me at Jasmine. "But wasn't Jacob with-" "Yep. So, I'm guessing that Jas isn't going to the ball. And I don't want to go without her, so I'll be staying in room 14 for the night." Darius looked sad, but not nearly as sad as Jasmine. "Okay. So, I won't be going either." I was surprised that he hadn't said that he would find another date. I hugged him and whispered in his ear, "Thank you. There's always the next dance." He whispered back, "Yeah, or this Saturday night. 7:00? I'll pick you up." I smiled, nodded, and leaned back. We had a good lunch from then, Jasmine stopped crying and Darius and I took a walk by the ostrich fences, watching students ride theirs. Darius' ostrich Ilo was currently sitting on an egg, so he couldn't take Responsibility either. No matter how idiotic Jacob was, this was going to be a great year.
