Okay. Okay. Why are we waiting with Catastrophe?

Because Catastrophe could be a part of this organisation for all we know, and this organisation killed one of our top soldiers and one of our friends, Alexandria. This isn't simply out of loss, though. There are certain reasons why we are doing this. If we don't want blood and war all of the time, a way to shorten those scuffles is by collecting information. I already have a plan for the ball, and you don't need to be my bodyguards. I can't have anything go wrong, because if this mission is compromised, I'm added to the KIA list.

These people don't play around. And neither do I.

That is why you need bodyguards. You have very little and every death is a large setback, but why not set a trap for this orginazation? Invite them to negotiate, and capture the leadng members? Then they will have to surrender or else risk serious destabilatazation of their ranks.

But also, Catastrophe would attack if given any knowlage of our location, so why do we let him get away with his crimes? Could we prehapse start the infiltration now, and take small steps to a good foothold inside his ranks?

Cool! Now we have a group!

I land quietly next to the resisitance base. Lights shine through the windows and I can hear talking. It had been so long since I was last here. Taking a deep breath, i step up to the door and knock three times. Everything is silent for a few seconds, then I hear footsteps and the door is pulled open by...

No, I do not need bodyguards!

We are only going to gather information, and that only takes a couple of people, if only one.

Sometimes we can't resort to violence, and we have to keep it on the down low. The Black Skull isn't some little organisation thats super open and violent. We need to ease our way through, not capture and kill the first people we see.

I have an idea. It might not be good, but it is a plan.

What if we sent some automatons into the ball. They can be modified to look like humans. Also, I might be able to have them be disguised as like trashcans or something. Then someone could wheel them in(the person would have to be an undercover servant) and they could record conversations between nobles. It would also be good to make the Resistance seem like they are going to attack the ball.

Then, while the ball is happening we can attack Jokul. I know this might seem stupid, but if we look like we are going to attack the ball then we might be able to pull it off. I also might be able to put some HAMs(Human AutoMatons)in Jokul.

Again, I don't know if this is a good plan, but I just wanted to propose it.

Then we wait. But in the mean time, we will get you some info on the banks of Kyngdom. We leave for their headquarters now.

That's fine, as long as we are gathering information and not attacking.

Im required to be there anyway too, so I'll get as much intel as I can.

Mina?

We need to talk in private.

...

The thing is...I really don't trust those new two.

Asking to be people's bodyguards, it just seems like a clever way to get us alone and kill us...I just don't trust that they just turned up one day.....

But lots of you just turned up. Why are we under more suspicion? Was Alexander R always in the Resustance? In fact, Alexandria worked for SOCS before joining the resistance. Can you just give us a chance. We are not even Minas bodyguards, we are en rout to the bank headquarters.

Okay.

First of all, Alexander R. is a brave fox who would risk his life for the people that he loves and protects. He was and is a warrior, and because of how open and funny he is, he can be trusted. He is part of the family, and no one will ever replace him.

Alexandria? Oh, my friends, you've crossed the line. You'll be lucky if Shadow doesn't see that.

Alexandria never wanted to work for SOCS. She was stolen at the age of, I think, three, and she was trained to kill. No mercy, just death. And if she couldn't make it, she would die too. When she finally met her sister, something changed inside of her. She knew that there were people that indeed loved her and that she meant something. At first, she was skeptical, as in human nature if you were told something like that, but she accepted the fact that Shadow was her sister and that the Resistance was her new family. Because of what she had been through and the courage she had shown with the new information and the battles that she fought with us, she became truly loved. Alexandria never knew anything but evil before she joined the Resistance, and the fact that she pulled through from what she had been trained and taught her entire life is quite an action indeed. I mean, it was for an eleven-year-old who's life was taken away from her before her teenage years even began.

So why are we suspicious of you? Because you wouldn't stop insisting on being the bodyguards, and you were kind of trying to determine who would go to the ball. And the fact that you just said that about Alex, one of our best soldiers, and Alexandria, one of the bravest people I've met, it kind of makes the trust level drop again.

My advice? Sorry, but at this point, the Resistance and myself need a bit more than trained assassins and more personality, character, and courage. We need proof, because some mistakes have been made that need corrected.

What more do you need? What proof is there to have but one's sword and life? What can we give 0ther than a promise in heart's blood that we will stand by you. What else? A story of how we came here? DId we need a grand anouncment? We said that ALexander R came from out of the blue, and ALexandria changed from a braiwashed servant to a loyal member of this reistsance. That was saying that people need a chance.

Exactly. I feel the same way you do. I'm glad someone finally does.

I don't like their tactics. I keep on trying to do things the diplomatic and quieter way before resulting to kidnapping or killing, but they insist on being my bodyguard. Being an ex-assassin, that's a tactic that I would have used, or something along those lines.

Let's just keep this on the down low and watch them.

We would like to point out that we like quiet planning as well, but we need to do something before we all get killed.

Guess what? News flash!

The last time we "did something," we lost some of our most valued soldiers. We lost Heather, we lost Queen Harbor, and recently, we lost Alexandria, because we were too busy doing something to save her!

We've done enough, and now we need to try a new tactic.
