Things are back to normal at the Resistance base, or at least as normal as they ever are, with the constant in and out of visitors, missions, and other things going on.
Icy and I are sitting in the Breakroom talking when she asks me an unavoidable question.
"Where were you, anyway, when you came back? You weren't here for ages, and you didn't tell anyone where you went."
"Oh. Well. If you really want to know..."
Icy rolls her eyes. "Why would I ask you if I didn't want to hear, Ro?"
I usually would protest to someone calling me Ro, but I don't with Icy. Don't ask why.
"Fine. I was out looking at what Catastrophe's been doing. The Forest is a mess, now that he has the Shield. Dark magic's everywhere, killing off the plants. I think he's trying to find our base. That's how I broke my leg, hiding from him. Hit it on a rock."
"Well, tell me next time you go out like that. I was worried."
"You?- Oh, never mind."
There's a very awkward silence.
Icy looks anywhere but at me. "Want to play chess?"
"Oh! Yeah..."
Icy's a good chess player, and I'm checked within half an hour.

So, the automatons humans, and there was talk of using them to invade Jokul. But, as usual, as soon as I intro something it crashes and burns. Oh well. Anyways, we are making them in a temporary warehouse at the Resistance HQ(where is that?), but there is talk of moving to Bleak Peak(which I think we are going to do soon). So yeah.
I really don't know. I was thinking of making a thread for it, but we all know that there are way too many already. People don't really care, so I doubt it matters. Maybe I should make a thread...
If it's just us, then maybe should do it on an already made thread. I could top SailHaven, but I'd rather not. We'd need everyone's permission for that. We could do it here, I guess. If it's more of the Resistance, then yeah, I think you should make a thread.
A shipment of weapons and other supplies is headed toward towards Jökull. The current status is following the Badger Express' track. The truck (a very long, colossal white flatbed truck with poles in the back to lift a green tarp over the back in a covered wagon shape) is filled with towering crates and, strangely (thanks to FAFA, actually--some mice 'accidentally' ruined a few wires and a few parts mysteriously went missing) and the truck has been delayed a week.
Resistance--take this message to our group thread. The signal I made this on was weak, but nothing (hopefully) Catastrophe-affiliated Black Skull should hear.
Time to mess Catastrophe up.

I dunno. I'm just super busy right now. I will be able to do more of Kyngdom in like three weeks when school gets out. Now, though, it's just studying and homework.
Ronan studies the board, then glances at the trap I set up. He carefully moves a knight over.
"Hmmm...." I study the board, then, after a while, lose focus. "Icy?"
"Huh? Oh, right, chess." I move a pawn, my last surviving pawn, across the board randomly, not really for a purpose as much as to just get my turn over.
How do I say this? "Everyone keeps dying." I say quietly. Ronan doesn't really say anything, just focuses on the board.
"Why would I say something if I didn't want you to react?" I tease, a ghost of earlier. He moves another figure, I don't really pay attention to which, and nods. "Just...continue?"
"When the idea of the Resistance sort of..came...and then it happened, I knew people were going to die. I didn't expect it to be anyone we knew." "I wasn't ready for this either." "...sometimes I wonder if this was a good idea...Maybe not the right idea, but a good idea...."
"Do you remember the Book of Myths and Legends?" He asks, looking up.
"I didn't know you read that, Ro..." "There was so many stories in there. And did any of them have horrible endings? No, Kyngdom wouldn't exist if they did. And not all of them were even as good or as organized or as well thought out as the Resistance."
I smile. "We learn history so it doesn't repeat itself."
That was the wrong thing to say, now that history sort of is..I mean, history is sort of...back...
"Sorry, I shouldn't..." I started to say, then changed it entirely. "Hey, at least I'm glad to have known you. You're a great chess player, and...a great friend." More than that...I hope.

Hey I work for The Resistance as spy. I have a horse named Akio which I got when I was a young girl in Japan. (I lived in Japan but I am not Japanese, I am European) I don't have any powers or anything but I am a Kitsune which is a Japanese shape shifter which shape shifts into a fox.
