Welcome, Chatterboxers, to the new Kyngdom board! You'll notice a few things have changed. We hope these changes will make it easier for both longtime and new users to participate in the story.
First, we've asked Dr. Sheepshank from Cypher Labs to comb through all the threads and put together a summary and history of the Kyngdom story so far. You’ll see that in the "Story So Far." He'll continue adding to it as the story grows.
Second, we've reduced the number of active threads. The only active threads will be the ones you see on the main page. These threads (many of which are inspired by your ideas!) will help us keep the story organized.
Third, to keep the story manageable, you will no longer be able to start your own new threads on the main page. A smaller number of threads will be easier for everyone to digest, and it will be more obvious where the action is happening, and what the action is. You can still create role-play (RP) threads on the Kyngdom RP Board.
Don’t worry! Your old threads are not gone. You can still read them in the Kyngdom Archive, but you will no longer be able to comment on them.
We hope you like the changes. If you have any suggestions for new threads, new groups you want to form, or general questions for us, feel free to comment below.
We've had an exciting few months building and growing Kyngdom. We love all the ideas you are bringing to this adventure. Have fun, and happy writing!

When the Power of Wing flute was played, was it any specific tune? If so, can I compose it? I'll take a picture of the sheet music and post it somewhere here.
We're waiting to hear from an editor about the answer.
I'm still waiting to hear. The editors are busy, but I would think it should be OK.

OHMYADMINS, Admins, I've been meaning to ask this for forever, but..... Can I make a Kyngdom TV series (or web series, whatever you want to call it) if I say, "I do not own KYNGDOM, Cricket Media does, etc. etc. etc."?

Sorry for late response! THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL OPINION: We have trademarked Kyngdom, but as long as you don't make any money on the videos, I think it'd totally be in the spirit of Kyngdom to make a "fanfiction" video series.
We can ask our lawyers if you have concerns.
Also, you wouldn't be able to share the link to the videos on here, although you probably already know that.

OK, now that I've yelled at you, Admins and Editors, I have a couple suggestions too. (And I'm sorry if I suggested you guys are opposed to stories! I know writing is what this is all about.)
We have one main thread, Admin-created, that many people post on (like "Shall we start?"), but it's broken up into time frames. (There's an April main thread, a May main thread, etc.) When the month or other designated time period ends, the thread is locked and archived, and a new main thread is started, with a brief summary of major events at the top. Here, newcomers can join in, and hopefully the summary will inform them of recent stuff and the other Kyngdomites (is that a word? It is now) can explain smaller subplots if need be. (And of course there are individual threads for the people who want seperate stories.)
I'm just throwing ideas out there. Hope this works out!

Greetings Editors. Your reply was very helpful as well as encouraging! I have two questions right now, one being about a thread. The image I got from your reply is that I could possibly start a new thread like Moonshadow and Infochan are doing, if it fit in your agenda. My previous thread was about the back stories and current conflicts that the people were having with the powers/things related to the powers, and I think that a lot of people could find that a nice place to start, since they could tell their character's backstory while involving the powers, which, if I understood properly, is one of the main points of KYNGDOM: The thread would involve all charries equally, instead of portraying myself as the main character. My second question is, when I tried to go to the Badger Search thread, it wasn't there. Am I looking in the wrong place? I used the Story so Far thread to get there. (I will Definitely merge the serum plot with the Rebel army thread, and the gryphon, and the Bog and Burrow. They all sound very promising.)
