Tray-

I chimed in from time to time to put in things Sam had forgotten. Dominic just listened his eyes sometimes widening, sometimes narrowing. When Sam was done he just sat there at a loss for words. "Wow, ok then." "Ya, now we need you  to build a complete replica of me so I don't have to die," I reminded him. "Right ok. Well that won't be easy. You're all really beat up. A body double of any of you would be perfect. Not as beat up." I looked at the four of us. For the first time I truly realized how banged up we all were. Sam and Jenifer were covered head to toe in cuts and bruises. Kathrine had a fading black eye, and her clothes were ripped all over. I was the worst. I haven't changed in a while and now my clothes were ripped, torn, smelly, and had dried blood all over them. My body was covered in scars, cuts bruises, everything. "Um, we haven't showered in a while," I muttered. Dominic nodded. "Maybe you guys should. You all kinds stink." I rolled my eyes. "Do all guys have to be this annoying?" I wondered out loud. Jenifer caughed something that sounded suspiciously like Nick. I noticed Sam just staring at him. I cracked a small smile. "Ok, showers and new clothes. Do you know where we can get any?" I asked Dominic. He nodded. "Ya, there's a mall a few miles away." "Great, let's go."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soon we were at the mall shopping. Dominic was waiting outside the store probably bored to death as Sam, Kathrine, Jen, and I looked for clothes. We'd taken a shower at some stranger's house after I picked the lock. It was not my most favorite experience. Sure beats a lot of them though. I strolled up to Sam casually as she shifted through a rack of shirts. "Soooo, Dominic's kinda cute huh?" I asked a small smile creeping up on me. "What? Oh, um I guess so," she muttered, glancing back at him before returing to the shirts with a serious blush on her face. "Why, you don't like him do you?" she asked seriously. I burst out laughing. "No way! I've got my own messed up type. But I do however think he's perfect for you." I finished the sentence mysteriously and walked away from the madly blushing Sam. In the end I decided on a white undershirt, a black leather jacket, black jeans, and (wait for it) black combat boots. We ended up getting our hair cut, too. I cut my freakishly long unruly hair down to my waist and put it in a long braid. Kathrine made us all go to some perfume store where she sprayed us mercilesly with something that smelled oddly a little like bacon. "Ok, now that I smell like a breakfast buffet, can we go?" I asked. The crowded mall was starting to make me feel claustrophobic. "I think I'm claustrophobic," I muttered as some old lady with a stroller brushed past me and I nearly screamed. Jen looked like she was enjoying herself. "Sure biker girl, let's go." We started to walk out of the mall when the old woman from before stood in our way, her eyes wide with fear. "Please help me! She stole my baby! Please!" "Where?" Jen asked seriously. The old lady pointed with a shaky finger. We whipped around to see an empty stroller, and if that weren't weird enough, an empty mall. We turned back around slowly. The lady had turned into a slithering snake-like thing. I sighed. "Of course we can't get a normal day. No, that would make too much sense," I snapped. She rolled her eyes. "Oh, and Uranus sends his regards, Jen. He's almost done taking over your petty brother." I felt Jen go still beside me. We pulled out our weapons and attacked.
Sam-
I bought skinny blue jeans, a blue camisole, a blue and white T-Shirt that I wore on top of my camisole, tied right above my stomach, a blue sweatshirt and converse. An hour before we’d broken into a house and washed ourselves. My blond hair was in a ponytail and I was wearing my glasses, which was sort of embarrassing because Dominic was there.
Everything was going normal and I sort of couldn’t get my eyes of him.
He is so cute, the one a.k.a. abnormal side of my brain thought.
Shut up, Sam, the other side said.
We were walking out of the mall when an old lady told us that her baby had been stolen. We should’ve known that something fishy was going on when she said that because people don’t steal babies. Anyway, as you might have guessed she turned into an evil serpent thingy.
We didn’t spend time talking to her, just attacked. The fight took five minutes.
“That was quick.” Tray said, chewing on a strand of hair that had fallen in her face.
“You fought well.” Dominic was probably saying it to all of us, but I took it as a personal comment.
“It’s natural.” I smiled idiotically.
Jen and Tray suppressed giggles.
Katherine looked at the big mall clock. “I think we’d better go.”
We walked out of the mall and were suddenly surrounded by every possible monster you could find in the Underworld.
We were outnumbered. The fight didn’t last long.
Soon we found ourselves in the back of a truck, bumping across the road to some place.
“We need to get out of here. Otherwise… Otherwise Nick will kill the real me.” Tray pounded on the side of the truck.
“Dominic knows how to get out,” Katherine said in her dreamy way.
“I do?” He exclaimed.
“He does?” We cried.
Katherine pointed at him. “That thing in your pocket.”
Dominic nodded knowingly. “Yes, it cuts through anything.” He took out a small pocketknife – at least, it looked like a small pocketknife. It turned out to be a mini saw.
In no time, the door to the truck was open, and we jumped out. Actually, everyone else jumped except me.
“Come on, Sam!” Tray yelled.
I gulped and watched the street under me. I imagined myself as a pancake on the road.
“SAM!” Jen started to run after the truck.
I gulped once more and jumped out of the moving object. I waited for my head to split open on the asphalt, but I felt something soft under me instead.
Dominic.
I opened my eyes and stared into his tan face. He smiled and hugged me a little.
I fainted.
Tray-
I smiled as Dominic caught Sam. Of course she passed out though. Jen and I left the doctoring stuff to Dominic and Kathrine since we had no idea what to do. Instead Jen and I set up camp. We let Sam sleep for a while while we thought over our situation. "So, we know Nick's got Hiporborean and Jack on his side," Jen started. "And we know that he's being possesed by Uranus, so in order to get rid of Uranus we have to guilt him out of it," I stated as we sat around a fire. We were filling Dominic in on the situation. "And in order to do that he needs to kill Tray because he loves her," Kathrine finished. Dominic nodded. "Ok, so you need me to build the replica of her in order to fake her death so Nick doesn't actually have to kill her." I nodded. "Yup that just about sums it up. So how soon can you have this thing finished?" I asked. Dominic took a deep breath and thought for a minute. "Well, to make a full-sized human type machine it'll take a day or two at the least." I sighed. Great, just more time wasted. "Ok, we don't have that much time so you've gotta do this fast. I'll go check on Sam." I got up and walked into Sam's tent. She was just waking up. "So how long's it going to take Dominic to finish the manequin?" she asked, sitting up. "Your boyfriend says it'll take at least a day or two." She blushed. "He's not my boyfriend," she said shyly. "Yup. And that's what I said about Jason, and Blake, and Nick, and look at where that got me," I said, a glint of humor in my eye. She smiled and  looked down. "I guess." "I guess? Oh that's it, I'm going to go get him." I started out of the tent ignoring Sam's pleas for me not to. "Hey, Dominic, your girlfriend wants ya," I said motioning to Sam's tent. He blushed bright red. "She's not my girlfriend," he muttered shyly. I rolled my eyes. "Ya, and that's what Jason, and Blake and Nick said about me!" I said. He turned to Jen. "Who are Jason and Blake?" "Exes," she said around a mouthfull of pancake. "Oh," he muttered, then got up and headed to Sam's tent. "Gimme one," I said to Jen who had a stack of pancakes on her plate. "What's the magic word?" she taunted. "Give it to me before I rip your head off." She rolled her eyes. "Good enough." She handed me the plate and together we wolfed down the rest of the food.
Sam-
Dominic walked in, seeming out of place.
I turned into a tomato.
“Well… Uh… You feeling better?” His voice was so quiet that I could hardly hear him.
“Yeah. I was just a little shocked, you know.”
He nodded. “That happens to me, too.”
I raised my eyebrows. “You also faint?”
He shook his head quickly. “No.”
I started tracing the pattern on my sleeping bag with my finger.
“Did you tell Tray that I’m your boyfriend?”
I was going to kill Tray. “No… She makes assumptions…uh…quickly.”
“Okay…”
I was probably the ripest tomato ever seen. “I guess I’m going to eat.”
“Yeah…”
I walked out of the tent.
Tray jumped up, dropping a plate full of pancake. “How did it go?”
“HOW DID IT GO? That was the most embarrassing conversation I’ve ever had!” I pounced on her and swiped at her with my fist but missed.
“I was just wanting to help.” She held onto my hands. “You’re too shy.”
“So?”
So! SO??? You’re the worst case I’ve ever seen, Sam.”
“Why? What case?”
Jen was laughing so hard that she choked. “Dis tho dummy.”
Tray and I stopped fighting. “What?”
“This is so funny.” She said again,
I got mad; even though now it was more of a playful mad. I doused Jen and Tray in water.
Tray brought up some ghouls from the dead to chase us, and Jen hung us in the air.
Suddenly Dominic emerged from the tent, his mouth wide open.
I fell face first on the ground.
“What. Is. Happening. Here?”
I spit out grass and attempted to brush off my pants. “Nothing.”
Tray-
I lost my balance and fell off a tree branch. I landed with a loud thump. I got up and started to rub my now sore hand.
"What. Is. Happening. Here?" Dominic asked completely confused. Sam spit out grass and attempted to brush the mud off her pants.
"Nothing," she said shyly. She was tomato red. I swallowed my laughter.
"What's happening is what happens when the children of the big three fight," I said, desperately trying to hide my laughter. Dominic could only stare at us. I cleared my throat.
"So, you makin' the fake me yet?" I asked trying to return things to normal.
"Uh, um, yes, yeah. I uh, am." The dead had frozen in place, chasing Sam and Jen, or some of them were having slap fights. Dominic was staring at them.
"Great, so you want to get to work on that before I die?" Leave it to me to make things awkward. I decided it wasn't awkward enough. "Sam! Make your boyfriend go make the fake me." Yup, that did it. Sam and Dominic were both bright red. Jen and I couldn't help it. We both burst into obnoxiously loud laughter. I thought Sam was going to punch me for sure. Instead she picked up my knife and threw it into the woods.
"Hey!" I shouted. She grinned at me.
"Fetch doggy!" I glared at her. Grumbling, I made my way into the forest to look for my now lost weapon.
Sorry I haven't been able to post, I've been on vacation! :/
//Jenifer//
I sat down on a log while Tray went into the woods to fetch her knife and Sam and Dominic went into the tents to work on Tray's fake body. I boredly watched the fire, feeding it different amounts of oxygen so it would get bigger, then smaller. A rustle came from the north side of camp and I grabbed my sword. It wasn't in the direction that Tray went to, and she couldn't have found her knife yet, I've seen Sam throw, it'd take her hours until she found it. It was Jason, my ex-sorta-boyfriend. Instantly I was defensive, but he looked like he was just taking a walk in a park. "What do you want, Jason?" I spat out, holding my sword in a calm but offensive position. "I came to talk to you." He said, sitting down on one of the logs. "I thought you were dead." I muttered. "Yeah, well you were wrong. And put that sword down, you're not as cute when you're angry." I involunatrily blushed beet red. "What do you want with me? You're on the other side." "I know. I am. I'm just here to give you a message." "Alright, give me the message before I use your head as a Christmas ornament." He smirked. "Always loved your eagerness to skewer me. But anyways, Ouranus wants you on his side. Not as his patron, just as his warrior. Having another child of Zeus is key, and we need that. You up for it?" He looked up at me patiently, and for a second, I was strangly tempted to say yes, and run off with Jason towards the other side, and be with him forever. But I shook the feeling away. I'm Jenifer Fitzgerald, daughter of Zeus, princess of the world! I don't need anyone, let alone Jason! But...if I did agree, I could lead them into a battle with Sam and Tray, then they would be able to fake Tray's death, and I could easily just kill some people off and come back to this side. It's risky, yes, but what do I do that's not risky? It would be so easy, and logical. I could do it right now, leave Sam and Tray a note, and leave with Jason. Who knows, we might start going out again. Yes, that's what I'll do. I won't actually be switching sides, I'll just be, acting? Yes, acting. "Wait here." I tell Jason, and walk into the borderline of the woods, grab some charcoal, and go to the side of my tent. Jason came. Going to other side. Don't worry, not really. I'm going to lead them into a battle with you guys so you can fake Tray's death. Be back after that's done. Good luck. Don't die. Oh, and Sam. Dominic's totally your boyfriend. You guys are just in the denial stage. And don't die. That would just backfire on everything. -Jen I throw the charcoal back into the woods and walk back to Jason. "You're right. I'll do it." He grins and kisses my cheek. "I knew you'd come to your senses." I roll my eyes and gesture for him to lead the way, and I follow, hoping that this really won't just backfire.
Sam-
I helped Dominic make Fake Tray while Jen sat outside doing nothing. I liked watching his large hands carefully bend, measure and put the metal pieces into place. I never knew someone so big could be that gentle.
He glanced at me and smiled.
I looked away, then proceeded pulling fake skin over the robot.
“Do you do stuff like this a lot?” I asked after a time.
He kept putting the metal into place while he answered. “No. I’ve seen sketches of it though.”
“You know those sketches by heart?” My eyes widened with amazement.
He grinned. “I’ve got a photographic memory, you know.”
I pushed him playfully. “Yeah right.”
He nudged me back. “Sure I do. I have pictures of everyone and everything in my head.”
“Even of me?” I said before thinking.
“Of course!” He laughed. “Your eyes remind me of the sea.”
“Well, I’m also the daughter of Poseidon so it’s sort of… obvious?” I wished I hadn’t said that. Stupid me. He meant that as a compliment and I acted like a big smarty-pants.
“I knew that… But still, they’re shockingly green.”
“Green like grass.”
He smiled and started leaning towards me as if-
A twig cracked outside the tent, making me jump to my feet.
“That must be Tray!” I said shrilly.
There was a mixture of disappointment and confusion on his face. But I walked out before I could think about it more.
Jen had been sitting on a log at the fire, but now there was no trace of her. Tray still hadn’t arrived.
“Jen!” I called, looking behind a tent. That’s when I noticed the smudged charcoal writing on the canvas.
Jason came. Going to other side. Don't worry, not really. I'm going to lead them into a battle with you guys so you can fake Tray's death. Be back after that's done. Good luck. Don't die. Oh, and Sam. Dominic's totally your boyfriend. You guys are just in the denial stage. And don't die. That would just backfire on everything. –Jen
First I felt mad. She’d left us again even if she was just faking it, but it still felt all wrong. What if they found out? What if she decided she’d like to be on that side forever? She could ruin our plan! Then I understood that there was no other way. We couldn’t just march into camp and make Nick kill Tray. He would notice it was fishy.
I sighed, turned around and noticed Tray at the edge of the clearing holding her knife.
She walked over to me and read Jen’s note before I could erase it.
“Denial stage? Ha!” She flipped her knife. “Did you kiss him yet?”
I didn’t answer. I’d suddenly remembered the moment when he’d leaned towards me.
“He did?!” She cried, almost jumping up and down.
I shook my head. “Almost.”
“Almost? What did you do?”
“What do you mean, what did I do?”
“No one almost kisses. So what happened?”
“I ran out of the tent.”
“YOU RAN OUT OF THE TENT?”
I swallowed. “I thought you’d come back.”
She sighed. “If Jen were here she’d be rolling on the ground… I guess I’ll see how the fake me’s doing.” As she sauntered off I had a sudden yearning for Nell. I could tell her anything. I could be as open as possible, more open than with Tray and Jen. She wouldn’t laugh at me, she would tell me what to do in her quiet way.
Katherine who’d been so silent lately sprung from a tree branch and came to me. “It’s okay, Sam.” I smiled at her and saw Nell in her face.
Tray-
I could not believe Sam. She ran out of the tent? What kind of person runs out of the tent?! I nervous person, that's who. I went in to check on Dominic and possibly give him dating advice when I saw myself standing there. A mirror image. She even had my permanent scowl. She looked like she'd been through heck and back, just like me. I thought for a second that I was looking in a mirror. Then I realized I wasn't.
"Hello, my name is Tray Martin. I'm going to kill you." She said. I widened my eyes and pulled out my knife. Dominic rushed up and flipped a switch behind her mess of black hair.
"So how do you like Tray version 2.0?" he asked. I studied my double carefully.
"Do I always look like that?"
"Pretty much."
"Really? Wow, that's bad. Ok then, yes she's just like me." It was creepy.
"You even got the personality down." Sam walked in. I rolled my eyes.
"Very funny Sam."
"What? It's true. Everyone we meet you threaten to kill."
"I do, don't I?"
"Yes."
"Good to know, ok so how should we do this? Jen went to the dark side so I guess it's just the four of us." Sam glared at me.
"She's just spying!" I snorted.
"Ya right."
"Oh like you can talk!" I knew what she was talking about. I blushed bright red and shut my mouth. Suddenly my double blushed bright red too, like she'd been embarrassed by the coment too.
"That's weird," I muttered. Dominic nodded.
"Ya it is. Anyway, robot Tray will do anything you do Tray. So, we simply send her out to fight instead of you, Nick kills her, you act like your dying, she acts like she's dying and presto, one Nick seperated from Uranus ready to go." I smiled. Good news. I wasn't used to good news.
"Great, so let's go," Sam said. I stared at her.
"What now?"
"When else?" I mumbled something about pancakes but one look from her told me this wasn't the time.
"OK, let's go then."
"I'll get Kathrine!" Sam said, looking glad to be out of the tent. I glanced at Dominic with exasperated eyes.
"Oh gods help me!" I shouted sarcastically. Dominic blushed but I ignored him. I strode out of the tent and Dominic hooked up some weird ear device to me.
"Now you can hear what she hears." It was weird because I could. We took shadow travel to a large Greek temple. I recognized it immediately.
"The Parthanon of Nashville," Sam breathed. I nodded.
"What better place to hide a titan." Robot Tray, Sam, and Kathrine strode inside. Dominic stayed to help me. The battle started immediately. I was very annoyed I wasn't in it. But Tray version 2.0 did a great job. She fought just like me. Anyone would believe she was me. She made her way up to Nick. His eyes were liquid gold. I saw Jenifer turn and start to fight the enemy. Good, so she wasn't evil. Robot Tray took out my knife.
"Ah Thanantos, how nice to see you. I'm going to kill you." Uranus, no question. Nick struck out at robot Tray who blocked the blow. She ducked down as he swiped. She stabbed and sliced, but in the end, nothing worked. Robot Tray couldn't match the Titan's power. Nick stabbed her and I faked dying outside the Parthanon. Robot Tray really did die. I saw Nick fight the gold. It started to fade and I heard screams. Horrible screams. Titan and demi-god. Both fighting for control. In the end Nick won. His rage was to much for Uranus in his weakened form. When Uranus was gone, Nick's army fled and Nick sobbed in front of Robot me. I walked into the Parthanon. Nick's eyes went huge. That's when he discovered the trick.
"You were never really here, were you?" I shook my head.
"Nope. I was going to, but some people decided I'm better off alive." I shot a grateful glance at a grinning Sam. I hugged Nick.
"I'm so glad you're not dead," he whispered. I nodded.
"Me too." I stepped away and thought for a moment.
"Only one thing could make this moment perfect." I walked up to Sam, grabbed her arm, guided her over to Dominic and said, "You two kiss." They stared at me like I was crazy.
"Aphrodite, I will never laugh at you again if you do me this one favor. Make them kiss already! Some pinkish light shone on them for a moment and then Sam was finally getting her long-awaited kiss. I smiled.
"Perfect." But of course nothing could be nice and good and perfect in our lives because we just arent' that lucky. Jason walked in. He looked totally unhinged. Nick's army was behind him. His eyes were on Jen. Betrayl and hurt burned there. I saw my two worst enemies behind him as well. Jack and Hiporborean. I knew the moment had arived. The final battle that would decide who won. The six of us, or the hundreds of them. Me, Sam, Dominic, Kathrine, Jenifer, and Nick, against every villan we've ever faced. I always thought it'd be Nick that lead the army to kill me. I never imagined it'd be Jason. He raised his sword to the heavens and yelled,
"ATTACK!!!!"
Sorry, I haven't posted in a while!
Sam-
As you might have imagined, the plan worked! But the best (and most embarrassing) part is what happened after.
Dominic kissed me.
Or Aphrodite cast some power on us and made us kiss. I don’t know. I was too in love to think about it.
This didn’t last long, though.
Jason arrived, followed by Jack and Hyperborean and hundreds of other Underworld creatures. Six to a hundred. It didn’t look good.
“Lovely.” Nick said sarcastically.
Tray rolled her eyes, but looked just as shocked as he did. I knew why. We hadn’t expected it to come this fast, but it was here. This was the final battle that would choose our fate.
I drew my knife.
Tray unsheathed her sword and held her knife at the ready.
Nick took out a spear and shield.
Dominic held up some complicated weapon.
Katherine and Jen both readied their swords.
Everything was silent as if the world were holding its breath.
“ATTACK!” Jason yelled and a stampede of monsters ran at us. Hyperborean and Jack both went for Tray, but I got there first. I closed my hands into fists and connected myself to the water fountains in the park. Suddenly a hurricane sprayed at them, throwing them back.
“Call the dead!” I yelled to Tray over the roar.
I saw her praying in ancient Greek and soldiers appeared from a crack in the ground.
I stopped the water and started fighting with my knife. Metal on Metal. Screams. Roars.  Battle.
The dead attacked the monsters.
Katherine wrapped Hyperborean up with flowers but fainted from the effort. I stabbed the dracaena I had been fighting with and ran to her.
“Katherine! Wake up!” I noticed a large wound in her side.
I hurriedly searched for ambrosia, but my pack was empty. “Ambrosia! I need Ambrosia!” I called. Jen stabbed a monster and looked in her bag yet none was there. Nick and Tray didn’t have any either.
All of a sudden the battle around me seemed to not be there. I was on a beach and lying in front of me was Nell.
“Nell, it’s me. You’ll be okay.” I stroked her blonde hair and a smile passed over her lips. Then she dissolved into water and rolled away from me.
“Katherine.” I heard myself saying. “Don’t leave me Katherine. You’re the only sister I have.”
Tray-
The battle raged. Jason lunged for Jenifer. I couldn't watch them go at it. I had my own problems to worry about. Jack and Hiporborean ran, bellowing at me. Knife and sword in hand I fought. I dodged, and slashed, and stabbed. Hiporborean's knife slashed my face. I could feel the blood in my eye. He had cut me right across the eye. That was sure to scar. I roared and slammed into him knocking him down. I got up and stabbed him. His eyes shone pure evil as he dissolved in a blast of pure white light and gray dust. I turned around only to meet Jack.
"I'LL KILL YOU THANANTOS!" she roared. I could hear her clearly even over the roar of the battle. I rushed her and suddenly everything was blocked out. The only thing that mattered was beating Jack. I slashed with my sword, stabbed with my knife. I turned around and ducked, then stabbed backward. She bellowed in rage and I spun around slashing her across the middle. She leaped at me and stabbed down. I countered and kicked her legs out from under her. She fell and I stabbed down. She roared in pure hate.
"See you on the other side, Jack," I muttered in her ear before getting up and rejoining the battle. Out of my left eye everything was red from the cut Hiporborean gave me. I jumped into battle, using everything I had to kill as many monsters as I could manage.
"Get an army of the dead here," Sam shouted as she ran past. I nodded. Cracks broke the ground as I yelled, an army of soldiers ran out of the crust of the Earth. All different uniforms. US, Civil War, German, Afgan, British, Revolutionary. Every dead soldier my father had came running out of those cracks. I wobbled, and stumbled. Nick was there in a second.
"I'm okay, go kill something," I snapped. Then I got up and ran back into battle. I was fighting off a monster I couldn't even identify when I saw it. Sam and Kathrine. And Kathrine was dying.
"KATHRINE!" I shouted. I ran over, Sam was crying and muttering.
"Kathrine. Kathrine don't leave, you're the only sister I have." I kneeled down next to her, the battle momentarily forgotten. Jen came over.
"Oh gods." I wiped away tears. Jen started muttering some Greek prayer.
"I'm sorry Kathrine." She was only twelve. She shouldn't have died. I put my hand on Sam's shoulder.
"Come on, we've got to fight. For Kathrine." She was up in seconds. Pure anger and hate flew into her bloodshot eyes. I've never seen Sam so angry. I knew what had happened, she didn't need to tell me. It was obvious. Nell. The three of us jumped back into battle. I don't remember how long we fought. All I know is that I faced monsters I didn't know existed. Ones that had been long gone for thousands of years. Blood loss was making everything go fuzzy by the time it was ending. Monsters were everywhere I looked. My sword had broken in half, and my mind was on the fritz when finally it was just Jen and Jason. They were in front of the statue of Athena. It looked like he was killing her. He was definitely winning. His eyes shone evil, his hatred obvious. I remembered when we went out. He was sweet and loyal and caring. Then came Blake. Blake had changed everything. Jason was now pure evil. Or so I thought. But the battle was drawing to a close. Jason had Jen pinned. I ran to help her but Sam stopped me.
"This is her fight Tray, not yours." So instead of cutting off Jason's head, I waited. What I saw changed everything. He had Jen pinned when she dropped her sword and kissed him. My jaw just dropped. So many reasons why this was a bad idea crossed my mind. But then again, who am I to talk? When Jen broke away Jason dropped his weapons and hugged her. He said something only loud enough for her to hear.
"Thank gods! It's over!" I shouted. I dropped to the ground happily. Nick strode over and sat next to me. He put his arm around me.
"Did you ever imagine it like this?" he asked.
"Not even a little bit." I managed a small smile. He laughed and kissed me. Finally it was over. This was the end. For us anyway. I broke away and leaned on him. Dominic and Sam were hugging. Jen and Jason were talking quietly. Both with tears in their eyes.
"What now?" Sam asked suddenly. I gave a short laugh.
"Back to Camp Half-Blood, I guess. Then maybe peace for a little while. Maybe." I smiled at the thought of finally some long awaited, well earned peace.
"Let's go, bone head. Chiron's gonna have a LOT of questions," Nick said nudging me.
"Shut up lightning brain." Slowly the six of us got up and walked around all the dead things until we were at the entrance. I took one last look at the Nashville Parthanon.
"The Battle of the Parthanon," I muttered. Sam and Jen smiled.
"We made history, didn't we?" Jen asked. Sam nodded.
"Yeah, we did."
I was thinking maybe one or two posts about back at Camp, and then the end of our PJ series. I think I'm gonna cry ;)
I have tears in my eyes. This was so amazing. I want to write a post about Katherine, Nell, Dominic etc., but I can't see ZB's post yet so I'll wait. :'(
I'm really sad now! D':
//Jenifer//
"What do you mean, it was all a fake?" Jason and I were talking away from the others, and I was trying to figure out what he had been doing. "Look, Jen, I've known what you've been doing all along, and I agree with you. You know, you're not as good of an actress as you think." My fingertips sparked and I touched his hand, schocking him. He recoiled and I walked over to where the others were talking. "What now?" I ask, cleaning my sword in the grass. "I guess we go back home." I sigh. "Oh gods, I don't even remember where home is." Sam nods and wraps her arm around Dominic, and Jason comes up and stands next to me. "I'm still revolted that you two are dating." I say, gesturing to Nick and Tray. "Deal with it, then." Nick says and hugs Tray. "You could do so much better, both of you." I say, and grab a drachma from my pocket. "One left, from the entire quest. Iris message?" They nod and Sam conjures up a mist, and I throw it in. "Chiron, Camp-Half-Blood." Chiron's face shimmers in the mist and you could see he's playing pinacle with some of the satyrs and Mr. D. "Jenifer?!" He nearly drops his cards and leans forward to look at me better. "We thought you were dead! Is Sam there? And Tray? What about Nell? And Jason?" I pull Sam and Tray into the picture. "They're all here, but Nell, well, Nell has some troubles. And we picked up a few straglers along the way." Dominic steps in and waves, and Nick grins shyly at him. "Nicolas Fitzgerald, it's interesting to see you again, young man." "Nice to see you too, Chiron." "Who is that that you're talking to, Chiron? Come on, we have to finish the game!" Mr. D.'s voice comes from the background. "Dionysus, it's them! The ones we thought were dead! They defeated the Titans! Now, children, go to Mt. Olympus, immediately, and talk with Zeus. He'll tell you what to do next, and right after that, come straight home!" "Alright, Chiron." He waves goodbye and his image disappears. "Well, Nick, I guess we're their transportation. You take Dominic and Jason, I'll take Sam and Tray?"  He nods and I summon up a breeze to take them all the way back to New York. After seven grueling hours, we land at the Empire State Building. Nick and I lay face down on the cool marble while everyone else deals with the security guard. Jason leans down and picks me up to carry me, and Nick leans on Tray's shoulder. We go up the elevator, walk across the bridge, and enter the main hall, where I'm set down on a folding beach chair provided by Poseidon. "Daddy...ambrosia...?" I'm fed the sweet sustanence on a silver platter and soon Nick and I are standing up as fresh as ever. We go through a whole schpeal where our parents congratulate us, and we're all lining up in front of Zeus while he punches in some numbers in the air. "Now, you've all done a remarkable job, and I must say that my children were exceptionally amazing," "Dad..." "Honestly, dad?" "I must admit, you are not yet finished with your quest."
Admins, Elizabeth M's post isn't showing up, is there like a technical problem or something?
Admin: Hm. I see several EM posts on this thread, so I'm not sure which one you're referring to--maybe she should resubmit it?
