I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Why doesn't my visual memory work? If I'm reading a book I can visualise the characters and setting easily, and I can visualize scenes and stuff when I daydream, but I just can't visually recall things I've seen before.
Faces, for example. I can't visually remember faces for the life of me. I can recognize faces and tell them apart and if you show me a picture of a celebrity I know and say "Yo, who's this?" I can answer. But if you take away the photo and ask my to imagine them, I can't. I forget what my family members look like the second they leave the room.
Landscapes are the part that really annoy me. If I see a beautiful cloudscape or a scene of mountains, I can't appreciate it as much because I know that once I leave I'm never seeing it again.
I can remember facts about these things, but I can't get them to piece together into an image. It drives me nuts. Maybe I should take more photos...

What's the fine line between people telling you to go out in the sun to get vitamin D, and people telling you to wear sunblock and lots of clothes and stay out of the sun so you don't get sunburned and give yourself skin cancer?
