I'm about to commit what I'm sure is a serious social crime by now, but I am not a huge fan of Encanto and personally don't see what all the hype is about. I find it crazy that those songs are nearly, if not as popular as, Let it Go. I have watched the movie once and didn't find any of them very memorable. Except for We Don't Talk About Bruno, but the reason I remember that is because I hear people singing it wherever I go. And the animation (and color scheme) were good, but I didn't think the plot was very original.
So, there. There is my rant. Millions of people would vehemently disagree. Posting this extremely controversial opinion is probably unwise. I will proceed.

I agree with Admin - it's fine to have your own opinions! Even though I like Encanto, there are certainly criticisms that can be made of it. Plus, I'm sure hearing the songs everywhere gets tiring if you're not the biggest fan.

I suffer from depression and anger issues, i all so am very judgmental of myself. I also get in to fights a lot. One of the other issues i have is i catastrophis. Basically my mind only thinks of the worst thing that can happen. I also have OCD ( obsessive compulsive disorder), and ADHD.
with those things combined it makes it hard to sit still without bouncing my leg, and if some one says some thing offensive to me..i get angry and will hurt then. It does not help that i am Italian and Irish. I want to be friends with all of you ( kinda). I also wish i could meet some of you in real life, it would be so cool if the admins put up a email address for a zoom or google hangouts, and we all went there and talked with each other. Seeing each other's faces for the first time. But what would be better would seeing one of you irl, and becoming friends.

Hi Rueby, we can still be friends here if you want! One of the cool things about the CB is that we're all kind of anonymous and not at the same time-
Also, I've read some of your writing, like the Aurora Bear, and I loved it! You are definitely a talented writer and we're glad you're here to share with us!

So i recently i had a little epiphany about my gender, turns I'm enby lol. It feels great to know who i am but there are couple of problems. I go to a school where the kids have known me for so long, and known me as girl for so long, that I'm afraid to tell them. They still use she her for me and I'm okay with that but I really prefer they them. Also, whenever i meet new people, for example, through extracurricular stuff, I introduce myself with my preferred pronouns, they/she. It makes me feel all tangled up, and even though i know who i am I can't tell the kids at my school. If u read all of my rant, thanks lol, sorry I'm not in the best mental state rn.

Congratulations! I just recently experienced much of the same epiphany, lol.
I hope everything sorts itself out smoothly for you in the near-future! It's honestly super relatable and I'm sure in addition to myself, everyone here on the CB will be here to support you if you ever need it! <3

That's awesome that you're figuring out your gender!
I'm in a pretty similar situation, so I feel for you. I know if I told people at school most of them would be fine with me using new name/pronouns, but I'm still afraid to do it because it feels like such a big deal and I worry they won't believe me or something, since I don't look stereotypically nonbinary. Wish I had advice, but since I don't, just know that I'm rooting for you and hope things will get better!

Hey, so, even though I mention this in my forms and stuff, but I'd also like to mention it here, since it's become a sort of coming out thread lol...
So, as most of you know, I use they/them pronouns. But I also use xe/xem/xyr, and... maybe also he/him?? I don't know yet, but definitely the/xe. But literally no one except myself has called me xe yet, and, honestly? I prefer xe over they. So. Yeah.
Please use my pronouns, thanks ^^

You are never invisible. Be yourself because its the best you can be. Trust me, it took me a while to figure it out, but you are better than how people view you. And I hope you realize how much we care. If somebody is judging you, they have no clue what they're missing out on. People can be mean, but usually only out of jealousy.
