Magicians RP!

Magicians RP!

Magicians RP!

~For any of you who were in the Robots Vs. Magicians RP, this will be based off of that futuristic world, except it will mostly focus on magicians. The plot: magicians have always been looked upon as different and dangerous (think X-men), especially since a group called the Shadow Spreaders have been doing their best to wreak havoc on the whole world. Anti-magician orginizations have formed as a result of the dangerous activities of the Shadow Spreaders. They are intent on limiting the powers of magicians and separating them from the lives of "normal" people. This takes place in a futuristinc world with new and brilliant technology and thriving, bustling cities. In this world, magic seems wrong and out of place, and yet magicians still live.

Will you plot to destroy the world of humans so that magicians can live in peace as a Shadow Spreader? Will you work hard for magician rights while secretly protecting your own identity for fear of being shunned? Will you take action against the Shadow Spreaders and rise in a new age of heroes?  Or will you encourage the banning of magician activities as you try to protect your world?

In a nation of conflicts, new threats are rising. The Shadow Spreaders are growing stronger...

Name: Lunar Ecplise/Airi

Age: 20

Appearance: Pale skin, dark, long hair, black eyes.

Personality: Ambitious, full of power, keeps to herself, condescending, keen and sharp-witted. Airi's graceful ways and silk-smooth composure contrast starkly with her cold and controlling ways.

Power: Airi has two powers; control over moonlight and telepathic abilities. After learning how to combine these two, she came up with a new and terrible power. She can only use her power at night.

Stance on Magician Rights: Airi is of the opinion that magicians should be the dominant group of humans on the earth, and will do whatever it takes for that to happen.

Groups Associated With: LEADER OF SHADOW SPREADERS. I called it, peeps.

Weapon: Her abilities.

Backstory: Airi was born in Japan, but during World War III (yo, it's the future), her family sent her and her older siblings to America to stay safe during the war. Gradually, Airi's war torn family began to fall appart. Airi attended college at a renowned school known for its excellent robotics and technology-centered core at an early age (she was 16 1/2). After two years, she fell in love and hoped to get married to Tom Black, but her hopes were dashed after a terrible accident in the computer lab at her college. That awful night, Tom and Airi were watching a lunar eclipse take place in the sky. After the explosion (which I will write more on later), Airi's life would never be the same. She became a magician. Over the next few months, grief and her new powers transformed her into something darker and full of shadows.

Other: Ummm.... NOPE!

Queen Elizabeth will post later. She has to go now (noooooooo). Next time, it shall be a Liberty's Kid's Marathon sleepover (hopefully), so we will have more time.

Plot up till now:

The Shadow Spreaders tried to make an attack on the Magician Chasers, but thanks to Zephyr, the Dawn Granters were waiting to protect their city. After a quick skirmish, the Shadow Spreaders were victorious and moved on to seriously damage the Magician Chasers headquarters.

Back at the Dawn Granter HQ, Kai talked with Gail (I think), working to get into the Dawn Granters.

Back at the Shadow  Spreader HQ, Reyna was promoted.

The next morning, a very tired Rai was almost discovered b/c he forgot to take off his Shadow Spreader symbol, which is now stuffed in his back pocket. Late to school, his identity was discovered by Lucea and quickly spread around the Shadow Spreader community, much to Rai's terror. His identity being revealed, his life is in danger if Lunar Eclipse finds out he is a spy.

Meanwhile, Vesper talked to Reyna, trying to join the Shadow Spreaders while Lunar dreamt of her past and woke up as Airi, her shy, emotional but smart and determined past self. Quickly drawing from her powers, she covered the slip-up and again felt the hatred and grief that makes her Lunar Eclipse.

Then the Magician Chasers declared open war on the Shadow Spreaders without officially declaring war. Hearing the news, Lunar and Reyna began a chat about some trivial pleasures like taking over the world.

What now?

Dawn Granters are still healing from last night's fight. Apparently, they sustained many injuries but no losses. Kai is probably now a Dawn Granter.

Magician Chasers are preparing for a dangerous war.

Shadow Spreaders are preparing to step out of the shadows.

And spies like Rai are fearing for their lives.

Friendships etc. up to this point:

Zephyr probably likes Gail a little. At the very least, he looks up to and admires her.

Kai probably likes Gail as well.

Zephyr and Sarah are probably on the verge of an interesting friendship. At the very least, Rai's big brother instincts that are still buried somewhere inside him whatever he thinks make him want to reach out to and protect Sarah.

Who knows Zephyr's identity? Right now, a few Shadow Spreaders. Maybe even Lunar Eclipse by now.

Hey guys! SUPER, SUPER sorry that I haven't been posting lately; I'll try to be better about it!

So, I'll try my best with this! Also, I'm doing this in first person today 'cause...... I felt like it. :D

Reyna~

War.

The word weighs heavy on my mind.

The word that brings with it death, that choking, stifling sensation that fills my mind with the screams of my drying family. The word that brings with it the taste, the smell, the feel of blood.

I am laying on my back, staring at the ceiling of my dorm room. Some nights are like this.... staring into the distance, feeling the darkness that is eating away at my soul. Feeling how the buried parts of my soul scream at me to stop, to turn back before the rest of me turns completely evil.

I think back to my conversation with Lunar, the glint of excitement in her eyes as she talked about how we'd take down the Magician chasers and Dawn Granters one by one, mowing them down mercilessly with our powers......

My mind wanders to the new girl, Vesper. I could sense great power behind her deep brown eyes, but I can also tell that she isn't sure of herself, or her powers. That can be remidied. With the right training, she could become a powerful weapon. That is, if she is strong enough.......

Kai~

It's been two days, and the Dawn Granters are still running through the my initiation paperwork. I guess no matter what side you're on, any big coorperation is slow when it comes to getting things approved.

Until I'm officially accepted as a Dawn Granter, I've been put into the giant school that's nearby. (pause for a sec; hope this is ok, but can the school everyone goes to encompass all ages, including college, and just have different wings? That way everyone can be together, and the whole interaction thing will be easier....)

I've been on the run for the better part of a year, and haven't been in a school since my parents were killed. Going back, enrolling in college courses, eating bad cafeteria food..... the normality of it casts a stark contrast over the past year of my life, living on the run, every day I spent searching for the Dawn Granters feeling hopeless, like an endless search for something that I could never find.

But now I have, and the chance to help people, to make a difference for the better would send excitement whizzing through me if it wasn't for one thing......

Reyna.

I still love my sister dearly, no matter which side she's on. I already feel an overwhelming guilt for giving the Dawn Granters all the information I know about her. When Lai asked if I knew anything about any Shadow Spreaders, I couldn't bring myself to lie. I had said that I knew of a Shadow Spreader named Reyna with the abilites of dragons. Afraid that my relationship to her would prevent me from being accepted into the ranks, I kept quiet about the rest.

I'm jolted out of my thoughts and into the reality of the bright, loud, people-filled hallways by someone bumping into me. Caught off gaurd, I lose my balence and go falling to the floor. Instantly, my reflexes kick in, and the world around me slows down as my speed races through me. In midair, I right myself and instinctively grab my books from midair. Then, realizing that I'm in the middle of a crowded hallway, I make myself slow down, and reality speeds up. I turn to see if anyone noticed, and realize that the girl I collided with is bending down to retrieve her fallen books. I hurry to help her, apologizing profusely. When she stands up, though, I am temporarly shocked into silence. It's Gail. She shoots me a look that says not to acknowledge that we know each other, and I recover myself. "I'm really sorry. I should've watched where I was going." Are my cheeks heating up? Surely not. "I'm Stephan, by the way." When I left the Dawn Granters, I was given strict instructions to use a false name. Gail seems to instantly understand that I'm telling her my false name, and she sticks out her hand. " ....... (Danie, I'll leave it to you to give her a name, or just keep it Gail.) See you around." And with that she walks off, leaving me wondering what exactly just hapened to my brain.

So, is everyone at the same school? I will assume so.

Gail~

There are a few schools scattered about the place that house groups of Dawn Granters. It's meant for easy transportation of information, as well as a safe haven if The Main Dawn Granters Headquarters gets taken out. Even the people who have already graduated school something hide here.

But it still has its weaknesses. If one school were to be taken out the whole system would probably g--

I squeak as someone bumps into me. Crashing into the ground, I instinctively reach for the shadows. But my hands slip and my elbow smashes into the tiles. Groaning, I rub my knee and eye the person I bumped into. Oh. It's that energetic fellow I met at the police station battle. He has already picked up his books and is starting to help me pick up mine. When I stand back up he starts to recognize me, but I try to give him the best 'shush!' look I got.

"I'm really sorry. I should've watched where I was going," He smiles nervously. I'm barely concentrating on his words, I'm still nervous about whether anyone saw me slightly controlling the shadows. "I'm Stephan, by the way."

Stepha--? Right, fake name.

"U-uh, yeah, I'm Melody," I smile weakly, shifting on my toes. I then turn around and walk off as fast as I can. I then turn as I realize I'm going the wrong way. Jeez, I'm great at this.

I tap my fingers impatiently against the desk, trying to look attentive. Since we're in a school, The Dawn Granters thought it would be wise to put us through the education as well. Practically the worst hours of my life. At least we don't have to go through it all the time, just when Leader think something dangerous has just happened.

The bell rings lightly, and we all race out the door. Freedom. Grinning slightly, I notice a figure pass me. Zephyr. He's nervous, for he's concentrating on hiding his emotions more than usually. I grab his shoulders, trying my best to look natural.

"Hey, what did you get on your test?" I ask, cocking my head playfully. Both of us know what this means: Status with Shadow Spreaders?

He's still steady with his emotions. "Lower than usual. I got a D." A D? He usually keeps it high than a D, even when it's pretty bad. This isn't good.

"Aw, that sucks. Hope you do better next time," He nods and we walk off. Jesus, what happened? Did someone discover he was a spy? No, he would say F for that. Perhaps someone's suspicious of him? He still should be fine... Whatever the case, one of the shadow spreaders must be at this school! I've been keeping my thoughts closed, but I need to be even better with it now...

Lucea~

The bell dismisses us, and I bump into a girl that's finished talking to a boy.

She turns to look at me, and her face is slammed with shock and recognition. She realises her mistake and musters a smile, but it's too late.

So. A Dawn Granter is here. Perfect.

Now, normally I'm a pretty peaceful person. I'm quiet and sometimes scary. Lunar can agree to that. But I feel something inside of me like a bursting fire that's going to let off light. So in order to avoid that from happening, I slam my fist into the side of the girl, Gail's, face. I remind myself and want her to know that I'm saving her and everyone else in this school by not blasting light, but it's too late because she leaps for me. She starts punching my face, until I block one and throw her back with my legs. She side kicks me back, and wind is knocked out of me. She's about to hit me again when I grab her and put her in a head lock. Considering she's older and bigger than me, I'm suprised at myself, but she continues to try to fight me. But I wrap my arms tighter to try to really penetrate her pressure point.

However, I'm pulled away when a teacher of some sort comes to break up the fight. I push the teacher aside and am about to charge for Gail again when more teachers and a officer of some sort comes to really stop the fight. Gail gasps for air and glares at me. She's about to charge back when teachers stand in front of her. She bursts through them, so it takes six teachers to retrain her. I laugh as we're taken our separate ways, and I notice Lunar's face in the crowd.

Rai~

I can't help noticing Gail's concern when I mention my "grade."

Yay! She doesn't want me to die a painful death! Obviously she likes me! Yeah right. Absorbed in my own thoughts as I walk away, I don't notice the sounds of fighting at first.

And then I hear a yell that stops me in my tracks. Lucea

My heart thuds. She promised she wouldn't tell. She promised she wouldn't reveal the identities of the young Shadow Spreaders and Dawn Granters at the school. If anyone knows my identity, my life is ruined.

A circle of students and teachers has formed in a close group in the courtyard. Pushing through them, I can hear the sounds of fighting and see flickers of movemnt between the ground, letting me know that these aren't just typical teenagers in a heated spat. They are trained fighters.

Suddenly, I see a familiar flash of dark hair. Gail! In desperation, I pull my sweatshirt hood over my head and prepare to charge into the fight.

Then I realize who I am standing beside. Reyna. She's from the college wing across the courtyard! What is she doing here? On a sudden hunch, I study the person beside her. A black scarf covers her head and paints her face in artful shadows. Shadows, of course. I study the skin of the stranger's only visible hand; deathly pale, but somehow perfect and alluring, like moonlight. Lunar graduated from college early, why is she here?

Then I realize three fundamental truths at the exact same time.

The first is that Lunar Exclipse is two steps ahead of everyone.

The second is that Lucea is just a distraction.

And the third is that I have no way to stop any of this.

~

Lunar Eclipse has a plan to slowly take over the world, and she's starting by attacking schools and offices to put the world in commotion before, under higher, mysterious orders, she will finish her plan with one fatal step.

Also, Danie: if you had to choose...if you had to choose...

Lol, okay, here we go.

Lucea~

The meetings with the head of the school are tedious, and no parents of mine are left to call, so instead, I say that Lunar's my sister. We look nothing alike, but they won't care. We're step sisters now, appearantly.

Lunar appears at the entrance to the door, hardly notcing Gail as she walks through.

She whispers something to the head, and his eyes widen, ushering me out of the room while Gail stays.

I look at Lunar questioningly, and when we walk out of the building, she shouts at me.

"What was that? HELLO? EARTH TO LUCEA? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?"

I scoff. "I lied about you being my older sister, so don't start acting like it now."

"That's hardly the point!" she exclaims. "Your light could have burst from any second! What then, huh? Don't go around picking random fights!" Her voice lowers, "And especially not with Gail."

"I won, didn't I?" I ask slyly.

"I would hardly call that winning," she mutters back.

"Look, Lunar, the reason I fought her in the first place was because I didn't want my light to burst. I had to let it out some other way! Speaking of which, it's about to explode again."

Before I can control it, a huge boom rings over the campus, and Lunar immediatley consumes the light in shadows.

She sighs. "This is why we can't go anywhere in public."

Waitwaitwaitwaitwait, I wrote that the fight was planned as a distraction so Lunar could make her move. Sorry if I'm being confuzzling, but I thought the Shadow Spreaders were preparing for one of their first public attacks?

Lai studies at home.

~Lai

Okay, when a random person comes up to you and asks if you are a magician, you have a right to be... Cautious? Unerved? Worried? I mean, seriously? I was just running some errands for the Master Granters. WHY ME???

The figure is cloked in a gray cape and comes up to me after I've finished paying for groceries(hey, magicians gotta eat too!). "Excuse me miss," The person says in a drawling voice. "But might you be a magician?" I stiffen the tiniest bit.

"Now what in the light 'bove the clouds would make you think that?" says I, trying to sound as innocent as possible. The figure lets out a low laugh.

"You got you're mother's eyes and your father's smile. Your intentions are as devious as thier evil hearts."

I stare hard at the figure. I can make out a wisp of red hair. "And just who do you think my parents are?" I say, trying to sound calm, although I'm sure the figure can hear my heart beat racing.

The figure laughs in a low menacing way."Why, Lai Endony, who else could you parents be but Caleb and Kristen?"

Top! I'm so sorry about not posting! I really need to get a hold of my schedule. I'm really bad with managing my time. For instance, I spent a large part of the morning stitching up the holes in my pjs and a brother's best jeans instead of doing the school due tomorrow, when the jeans totally could have waited. And that is the reason that I'm always either ahead, or behind, but never right on time :)

So yes, I'll try to post later! I'm sorry! The plot is so great!
