(Shall we start?)

Trill sighed. She was standing near her bed in her dormitory room. She had three pictures of the Cypher wheel spread out in front of her. "Which one should I bring to the meeting place tonight?" she muttered. Shrugging, she picked them all up and tossed them into a bark and felt shoulder bag, along with some notes and papers. She was now ready for the night.

Trill sighed again and picked up a WWI codes book to wait until nightfall.

I knew I was taking a risk but I teleported into the bushes behind the main building for B.I.G.

I fished out the letter and walked into the large cement building. A red-haierd lady was sitting in the lobby behind a red desk applying copious amounts of lipgloss to her already shiney lips. As I walked towards her I smelled strong perfume and cigars. I had to hold my breath when I asked her, "Hi, I'm looking for Professor Cornelsa Hornshaw?" I flashed the letter at her like a cop would in an action movie.

She pressed a button and I heard a loud buzzing sound. "Mister Hornshaw, an intern is here for you, a young one at that!"  I heard another buzzing noise and in a robot like voice I heard the response.

"Send her up her Monica." I knew that was Professor Hornshaw.

"Take the elevator to the top floor and it's the third door to the right, you can't miss it." She flicked her lip gloss at me and with the same hand pointed in the direction of the elevator. I stepped into the elevator and pressed the highest number on the list. The doors slide shut and some corny elevator music begins to play.

When I got to the top floor I followed the lady's instuctions and came across a door labled:

PROFESSOR CORNELSA HORNSHAW, so I knocked. "Come in," said a slightly muffled voice. I pushed the door open into an office decorated with taxidermy. "Hello Pheonix. " said Professor Hornshaw.

"I see that you came immediately for the offer posted. So are you going to take the position?" I said, "Yes."                          Little did he know.Wink

Cyl might not feel it yet, but Capense really is her only friend and mentor, although she thinks of him as an enemy. It's like how (this is a Fantasical RP reference. If you don't know what I'm talking about, its alright) Amethyst hated Cale at first, but slowly, they got to be friends.

And, Capense is not the leader of the F.A.F.A. Silverpaw is. Capense is the leader of a large Rebel Spy group (we're starting to sound like Star Wars here) that is "sponsored" by F.A.F.A.

Addie lives in the woods around B.I.G. Her favorite weapon looks like a Star Wars blaster (for all the Star Wars geeks out there). She is a loner, but definately works against B.I.G.

Addie~

I perch procariously on the branch of a large sycamore tree right outside B.I.G. The wind tugs at my loose pink blouse as I swing my bare feet from my high perch. I'm waiting right now for a report from a spotted owl from the Bog and Burrow Inn. Although technically I cannot be part of the F.A.F.A., I silently applaud them, supporting them from the wooded area around B.I.G. Living so near B.I.G. has its advantages. For one, it provides exellent spying around the lab.

A heavy thud, and several screeches bring me out of the tree. I crouch on the ground, watching from a bush near the B.I.G. clearing. From what I can gather, teenaged boy is in the bushes, with Storm the owl squeezing berry juice on him. The boy is evedently fine though. He shrieks and waves his hands as Storm flies away, alighting in a nearby pine. The boy scowls sourly and suddenly leaps towards a shadowy figure, grabbing for a paper in his hand. Quick as lightning, the figure spins around, and zaps him with a gun of some kind. The boy falls to the ground, stunned, and apparently frozen.

I grip my blaster attached to my belt, and creep towards the figure, who has retreated into the woods. Breathing deeply, I fire my gun at the shadow. He turns and tries to zap me, but I duck. Storm flies down towards me.

"Don't try to cross him," she warns.

l'm just going to jump in here.....

~Rose~

Blinking like an owl, l hurry down the hall to the machine work shops. l had been ill for the last two days, as so l coudn't meet the new students. Opening the door of one of the work shops, l can see that there are already students, milling around and examing the various machines scattered about the room.

l feel like banging my head on a very hard wall. l had forgotten to put everything in place for today, so it wouldn't look like the mess that it is.

The new students turn around as l enter. l clap my hands with an air of command. "Hello everyone. l am Rose Shade and l teach engineering and machinery." l force myself to put on a welcoming, cheesy smile. They will soon learn how l do thing around here.

"Right then." The students gather around me, some of them just as old as l am. "First thing's first. Basic steam engine. Anyone of you know anything about that?" l don't wait for anyone to speak up. "Then you'll just have to learn."

Just then, someone knocks at the work shop room door. l turn around to go answer it.

Seth~

When a normal person is paralyzed by a strange gizmo held by a shadow, do they think about how to get out of their situation or about the gizmo itself? Me, the totally not-normal mechanical geek, starts analyzing the gizmo. From all angles, something that could hit someone or something with an invisible force that acts like instant super-glue seems absolutely impossible. B.I.G. hasn't developed anything like that in the past, and with Prof. Hornshaw in the lead, we have the most technical knowledge of anyone we are aware of. Our biggest enemy is Cypher labs... but could they have developed a weapon of this much power? Was the Cypher machine just a cover? Were they working on one of hte greatest pieces of technology ever invented? Surely Cypher couldn't have come up with something like that...

but maybe they could have. Maybe I need to talk with Dr. Hornshaw. Maybe Cypher is planning an invasion.

I'm so busy analyzing my attacker and his weapon that I don't realize that I can move again until I find myself brushing a strand of hair out of my face. Instantly, I sit up, looking around. Outside of the metal fence surounding B.I.G., there is a lot of yellowing grass and a small forest of tough pine trees. The shadow must have retreated to the woods. I think I see a flash of bright pink... but then it is gone. Strange.

Laria~

I pace my dorm at night, after everybody's gone to sleep. I saw Seth as I came in today. I know he saw me. He bolted when I entered. In a few minutes, I plan to go after the artifact or free Zaphyra, whichever comes first. I'm still waiting for the lights to go out in the hallway. right now, though, I'm reliving memories of Seth, my face heating with anger.

I call my parents to let them know that I'll be home late. I lost my plans for a gizzmo that I was working on. After I hung up, I stepped back inside to find it, and hear Seth's voice.

"Hello, is this B.I.G? I've got the info o the Cypher-"

"Seth!" I screamed, rushing out and ripping the device from his grasp. He stared, running his hands through his hair.

"Laria, it's not, I mean-"

"You were spying on us!" I shrieked.

"No! Um, for us!" I blinked. He was staring pleadingly. I lowered my eyes and handedhis device bck. Not even caring about the sketch anymore, I turn and leave. Seth continues withhis call.

I believed him. For a whole year. Until today. I saw him in the lobby. My face grows hot with fury. The light clicks off behind the door. I wait for a few minutes before pushing my way out. I glance at the map they gave the newcomers. Unfortunatley, there's no big room marked 'LOOK HERE FOR MYSTERIOUS OBJECT!!!' The best I can find is the room marked 'DO NOT ENTER. STAFF ONLY'. So naturally, that's the first thing I go for. I take a deep breath and trot down the hallway, I pray that I don't meet Seth. It wouldn't end well for him.

Cyl~

"Cyl wait up!" Storm calls. I perch on one of the tree branches in the Bog and Burrow and order roasted caterpillers. Storm swoops in next to me.

"Cyl, why don't you just tell us? Why do you have to put yourself through all this?" He asks. I refuse to answer. "You said you don't trust yourself..." he says, prompting. I remain silent. I still don't know why I had started spouting my feelings to my enemy, but it wasn't happening again. I don't trust myself to open my mouth. I don't trust that I won't let everything fall down. I don't trust myself because I don't want to fail again.

I felt that Cyl didn't want to make a mistake agian like before. It was pretty terrible, for Cyl, for her feathers were sticking together with bood. So I put my wing behind her. "Oh, Cyl. Everybody makes mistakes. Remember when I was making armor for the Second Order of Stealth and I brought Ice scimitars for the owls in the South instead of the steel battle claws? It was quite embarassing to flunk the orders. Those ones down south might've clawed my face off if I sent the scimitars first instead. Look, you can learn from your mistakes, don't pressure yourself, learn from it. You'll be better than last time as long as you don't make that mistake agian and agian and agian and agian." I hooted, trying to comfort her. Cyl looked at me as if saying "Really?". "Cyl, I've made many mistakes, all were embarassing and hard to take in. Please, tell them what happened, they may take it as betrayal otherwise. If they do, I'll be there for you." I replied. Cyl then flapped her wings, flying away from Bog & Burrow, to the direction of the Stealth's headquarters. Hopefully, she'll tell them. I flew after her, wanting to see what happens next.

Aislyn~

BIG. That's where I was. No, I wasn't in the building, but I'd been sneaking around, spying, I guess you could say. But I wasn't against them, just worried they were against me, since I obviously wasn't supposed to get the letter, whoever returned the book was. So staying in the shadows was better. At night, I went in the lab and stole things for my own survival, and most of the time I slept there, too. There was a girl that saw me once. She saw me stealing one of those steam things someone was working on, not because I neede steam, but because I could take it apart and invent something else. I don't know who she was, it was too dark, but I saw her, definitely, and she saw me. The sun was setting, so I hopped though a window to get to where I sort of lived. A small dark room with a mini fridge. I opened up the fridge and a light shined in my face. I flinched, but then calmed down when I saw it was just the fridge light. But then I saw another light shine in my face. A flashlight. Being held by a person. Watching me.

Seth~

I tried to climb up the wall and climb back through the window, but the building was too smooth. All I managed to do was a few of my nails (which weren't in good shape to begin with). I'd have to go through the front entrance and get in trouble for breaking curfew.

"Hey Seth!" Someone springs around the corner, and I jump backwards with a scream so loud that it echos its way down Bleak Peek. Giniva laughs.

"Don't ever do that again," I say, crashing into the bushes for the third time in half an hour. Those bushes must be tough.

"I can't help that you're jumpy," Giniva replies with a smile.

"You're almost as bad as Tristin," I mutter, picking leaves out of my hair.

"What?" She asks.

"Never mind." Giniva's face turns serious.

"I'm guessing we aren't the only ones out for a moonlit stroll," she says, studing my face.

"Bingo. It's getting quite crowded in the woods over there," I answer.

"Okay... so what happened?" She questions carefully.

"You'll never believe it," I answer.

Giniva~

That. Was. Hilarious. I'm never going to stop talking about how Seth's scream was higher then any girls.

But for now, I responded to his disbelief at my abilities. "I put a black hole in a leather purse man, I'm pretty sure I can handle whatever you throw at my way." I paused,  then let a grin work its way onto my face as I couldn't help but add, "Besides, I wanna know what made you scream like that."

Seth sighed, slowly shaking his head. "Goodness..." he muttered, before beginning to explain why he was creeping around at night, and what had happened.

I listened intently, my smile gone as I listened to his emotional words, which told exactly how he was feeling during the whole process. I didn't even realize he had finished speaking until he coughed slightly.

"Oh,uhm, sorry," I apologized hurriedly, looking at him with a small shrug. "I was thinking about what you said...that really weird about the owl! And the shadow...." I moved over to the window, peering out of it with a ferocious intensity.

"What do you think it was?" I asked suddenly, turning back to him.

"I-uhm..." he began, slightly startled by my sudden question.

"We should go find out!" I proclaimed, placing my hands oin my hips. "Yeah! It can't take down both of us...." I paused, watching Seth's suddenly skeptical look.

"Right?" I added, running my fingers through my hair as I ducked my head.

I think I got that right! Oh well, I hope so!
