(Shall we start?)

Trill sighed. She was standing near her bed in her dormitory room. She had three pictures of the Cypher wheel spread out in front of her. "Which one should I bring to the meeting place tonight?" she muttered. Shrugging, she picked them all up and tossed them into a bark and felt shoulder bag, along with some notes and papers. She was now ready for the night.

Trill sighed again and picked up a WWI codes book to wait until nightfall.

Hi! I'm really sorry that I'm just getting started posting, I was at the beach.

~~~~~~~~
~Cedric Andrew Baron (hates going by anything but Andrew)
As I floated around the BIG dormitories, I see Trill and Tani in the hall. I've been meaning to talk to her, but haven't seen her around much.
"Trill!" I call to her, shamelessly disturbing whatever less important conversation she was in, "TRILL IT'S OF AWFUL AND UTMOST IMPORTANCE."
Trill looks to me and swiftly approaches me, "What is it Cedric?'
"Andrew," I blatantly look past her towards the new recruit, or at least I think she's new. I haven't seen her around, and I've met just about everyone.
"Well what is it?" Trill's purple eyes question me, in a friendly way I guess. Sometimes I think she just might be a spy like me.
"Oh, um I was just wondering about the new recruits," I smile flashily.
She laughs softly. "Two new recruits, Laria and Tani." She points to Tani, who grinned despite looking exhausted.
"Spectacular!" I wave at Tani.
"Yes, it is quite nice," Trill straightens herself.
"So," I lean against the wall in a debonair sort of way , even though I'm a little short to and nearly trip, "Anything exciting been happening that I might just not know about?"
Trill's face turns from it usual friendliness to one of seriousness, "Actually, there was a sighting of a strange person looking around in the forest."
"REALLY?" I gasp dramatically, "Do you think I know him? I bet it's a him. I know like, everyone."
Trill sighs and smiles respectively, "I'm sure you do Andrew. Anyway, Tani and I have to go, it's late you know."
"Where have you guys been?" I pester. "I wanna come with next time."
"Sure you do." She wipes her eyes, which clearly look just as tired as Tani's.
"Okay, okay, okay fine. But I mean it, next time, come with, PRETTY PLEASE."
Zerdan~
I entered the dwelling I had devised for myself and closed the door. From the outside, it was a large, yet non-descript boulder, with moss and ferns growing around its base. However, the inside had been expanded to provide living space for a single Orgasian, with a clever device devised by some ingenious scientist. I shut and locked the door, carefull not to trap any plants in the hair-thin crack concealing it, and plopped my package of notes on the table. Then I activated the various defenses, and one of the drones. I had a feeling that the human wasn't simply going to leave without trying to find me again. Humans had a habit of doing that. After putting most of my tools back in their seperate storage containers, with the exception of my anti-pursuant device and a universal tool, I sat down in front of my transferance terminal and began copying the notes, page by page.
Nearby, two shapes moved silently through the forest, slowly approaching the boulder, unaware that Zerdan's automated defense had registered them as a threat...
(Notes from the person)
dun dun dun!
Not that Zerdan particularly wants to kill anyone, he's just carefull. I don't want Zerdan to end up as someone who kills everyone because that would be terrible, and gross as well. So please, don't portray him as someone who does that. Thanks! :)
Hey Seth, could I join up with you too? I'm a little behind, and I don't really know what's happening. I'm trying to skim in my free time, but it's still a tad confusing. If I can't, that's ok :) I just thought it would also be interesting if Laria and Seth could talk again.
What is a CAPTCHA? I'm sort of new to the chatterbox, and have no clue what it is.
It's a name for the code you're asked to enter before you can submit a comment to Chatterbox.
Nice one, Andrew! Or...Cedric? As Trill calls him. >_< ;-) sorry in advance for the short post, I think we need more action, but I'm kinda stuck.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
As she walked down the hall, trying desperately to take vacant hallways, Tani asked, "Who was that?" "That was Cedric Andrew Edwards. He hates being called anything but Andrew, though. That's why I call him Cedric, just to annoy him." In spite of her weariness, she winked. "He thinks he knows everyone and everything. It's kinda boring." Finally, they reached their rooms. "Night, Tan," Trill called. "Night!" Tani called back. Trill layed on her bed and fell asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.
After a bit of a hiatus I'm back :)
Also, Zerdan, hope you're OK with me using your character a bit.
Tani~
After I bid goodnight to Trill, I go into my dorm and flop on the bed, face-first. I sigh happily. What I would do for a single night where I could get my full eight hours of sleep, and now I'm finally-
Thump.
Of course.
I roll over on my back, blinking wearily. I sit up and look out the window in front of my bed. That's the only place the sound could have come from. Swinging my legs to the cold floor, I get up and tiptoe to the window. Pressing my hand to the glass, I see my eyes, dark in my reflection's face. In the distance, there's the fence that surrounds all of this compound.
Suddenly, something swoops up in front of the window. I stumble back, surprised. It's the shadow.
But it doesn't do anything. Just stands there, an invisible mass in the darkness of night. I know it's staring back, though I can't see its eyes.
"You know what?" I say out loud, grinning my maniacal been-awake-for-sixteen-hours smile, and surprising myself and the shadow. "You go away. I'll deal with you in daylight. When I've slept and gotten myself a coffee. Good grief, I could use a coffee. I don't know what you're here for, but whatever it is, I promise I'll find out who you are and why you're lurking around this place. Just not now."
With that, I pull the thick white shades down to cover the window, fall back into bed, and tug the pillow over my ears to make sure I don't hear anything more.
Ironically enough, I don't sleep very well.
Also thought I might include a little sketch I did of Tani-
Haha it's ok! He wasn't stalking or anything, just observing, I guess. Tell me if I make him *too* creepy :)
Nice drawing! Looks like a serious proffessor you probably don't want to bother with too much. They'll never suspect you're a spy(except for those who know you well enough).
Lol, Tani! I love it!,!!!!!!
Trill woke up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. Tired, she stumbled to the bathroom. "Never staying up until midnight ever again," she mumbled. When she came out, Freya was sitting on her bed. Trill jumped. Not again, she thought. "Oh! Freya! You scared me!" She breathed. Freya narrowed her eyes. "Hello, Trill. Gee, you look tired. You wouldn't have been, oh I dunno, awake and running around outside around midnight?" Trill sighed. "No, I wasn't," she insisted. She pushed Freya out her room. "Get out. I have to get dressed or I'll be late for class." Once Freya was out, she heaved a sigh of relief and leaned against the door. She sat there for a few minutes. Then she scrambled to her feet and flew around her room, getting ready for class. She dashed down and sat just as the bell rang.
Haha, glad you enjoyed my caffeine rant, Trill! :D
Also (I feel like I'm saying this a lot lately :P) I hope it's OK, I used Cedric/Andrew a little. Sorry if I made him too annoying. Tani's kinda done with the world at this point so... :)
Tani~
After inspecting the black-hole-like bags under my eyes in the mirror, I walked out of the cafeteria bathroom, into the large, bustling main hall, currently filled with rows of tables and young scientists. I push my hair back, shake my head to wake myself up, and set out for Trill's table.
Before I can take a step, I hear a bright, menacing voice. "Hey, Serenity!"
I wince. It's Freya. She steps in front of me, blocking any way out of a conversation with her.
"Whaddayouwant?" I say gruffly. I'm tired and I've pretty much given up any notion of being polite with Freya by now. I longingly look over her shoulder at the drinks station. Coffee machine - so close, yet so far.
"You look pretty tired, Serenity," Freya says. Calling me by my full, hilariously innacurate name has been her little way of ribbing me for a week now.
"So does your friend Trill," she says, crossing her arms.
"Look, Freya, I don't know what you're accusing me of, but I do not have time for it this morning, OK? Go gargle a grenade." I push her out of the way and beeline for the coffee machine.
As I start filling the glorious Styrofoam cup with the even more glorious liquid, the kid I met the other day saunters up to me. "Hey, Tani," he says, leaning against the drinks table. I've noticed he has a habit of doing this. I can't honestly say "good morning", so I just don't say anything.
"You were talking to Freya, huh? Yeah, I know her. I know--"
"Pretty much everyone from here to Timbuktu. I get it." I finish the sentence for him and start chugging the coffee. I look over the rim of the cup at him just to unnerve him. "So, there must've been another reason you came over here. I am well aware I tend to have the opposite effect of a magnet on people."
"Well, yeah..." he says nervously. A look comes on his face, like he's having an argument with himself. Then he bursts out, "I'm a spy. And I think you and Trill are, too."
I spew coffee, getting what I know will be stains on my favorite jacket. I set the coffee cup down, grab a napkin, and try to wipe my face with as much dignity as possible.
"Well, Cedric." I say. "You're remarkably perceptive."
Cyl~
I admit, Storm embarrassed me. But he also made me feel better. I am ready to say what happened that night two weeks ago, but I won't settle on just telling Capense. I will tell the whole F.A.F.A. orginization, meaning that I will need to seek out Silverpaw. The night is getting black, and the cresent moon is dominant in the sky. A light breeze ruffles my feathers; it feels good to be in the air. Tilting, I dove into a dense wood, Soaring upwards just in time to miss clipping my wings against a layer of moss-covered rocks. Trees grow closely together, and the leaves scattered across the moist ground rise and fall with the wind. I fly across a huge clearing; a major F.A.F.A. meeting place. The clearing feels silent, still, and eerie. Tiny pricks of spring-green grass lie prostrate on the muddy ground, as if respecting the sets of paws and claws that had crossed there. After struggling through several strands of ivy, I break free of the forest and fly full speed to the foot of the mountains rising into the mist. I swoop straight up, looking for Silverpaw. It's time to tell the secret which has plagued me for many nights.
