(Shall we start?)

Trill sighed. She was standing near her bed in her dormitory room. She had three pictures of the Cypher wheel spread out in front of her. "Which one should I bring to the meeting place tonight?" she muttered. Shrugging, she picked them all up and tossed them into a bark and felt shoulder bag, along with some notes and papers. She was now ready for the night.

Trill sighed again and picked up a WWI codes book to wait until nightfall.

Seth~

Giniva let us through a door in the girls dormitory ("How come the guys don't get private doors to the outside?" "Girls are much more trustworthy." "I wouldn't trust a girl with anything").* It was almost 1:30 A.M. before I got to sleep...

I sit up in bed drowsily, and look out the window, which is open (did I leave it open?). Two girls emerge from the woods and walk right past my window before disapearing around the building. So they were still in the forest when we left. I shiver thinking of what might have happened if they found us taking crazy selfies in the woods at midnight.

In my hollow, I grab all of my supplies I'll be needing for my investigation. I carefully place my maps and some books in my messenger bag and put on my battle claws and mask. These days, it had been very boring, and my patience can't hold it much longer. I put the bag on, and fly off to BIG. I looped around and landed in the vents. Using my beak and talons, I raided the vents and crawled through them. It was awfully dirty because there was moss and other plants that grow in damp places such as algae. I crawled and reached the closest opening. I opened the vent and flew into the room with fresher air than that in the vents. If only BIG can recognise animal. If I did, I would tell them how terribly dirty their vents are, and should clean it throughly. I fly through the room and notice that nobody was there, and the door was locked. HELP! I thought screamed in my mind. No matter what though(besides going back into the vents), I can't escape. I hear voices, and the room's door started to open. I hovered before the door and readied my battle claws.

Sorry I haven't posted for so long. I've been SUPER busy.

i hear there is a double agent around. Careful, guys!

Trill gritted her teeth. "I cannot believe they caught up to us," She said quietly. She was standing in her room with Tani. Tani sighed and was about to reply when they heard a rattling in the air vent above them. The girls froze. "Did you hear that?" Tani asked softly. Trill pointed to the ceiling for confirmation and Tani nodded. Trill bit her lip and nodded back. Softly, Trill stepped over to the air vent, Tani close on her heels. "1." Trill whispered. The girls set their hands on the grate. "2." They got a better grip. "3." They pulled with all their might, just as the thing rammed into it. With a loud CLANG, the door fell open. Trill winced at the sound it made. "That's not good," she said. Quickly, without looking at what fell out, Trill shoved the grate under her bed, and gestured for Tani and the Thing to climb into her bed. When the thing hesitated, Trill pushed him in, climbing in afterwards. Getting a better look under the covers, Trill saw the outline of Storm. Footsteps thudded outside. Trill pushed Tani and Storm under the covers, and pretended to be asleep. 'Sorry about this, guys,' she thought.

Trilling softly in releif, I was glad I landed in Trill's room instead of some random person who would gladly smack me. Hiding under the covers, I peeked out to see who came in. It was Corneila Hornshaw. I narrowed my eyes. "You are suprised I came here for room check. Seems like you room is rather nice." Corneila hissed. I prepared to come out if I had to. "What's this?" Corneila asked, picking up a feather. Dang it! If I hadn't been so quick to dash, my feather wouldn't have fell off. I was prepared to leap on her face. Trill reacted quickly though. "Oh, I was just er... see what it would be like if I used a quill. Must've fell off my desk." Corneila handed the "quill" back to her and left. Phew.

In response to The Power of Wing being activated:

Seth~

I wake up again to a rumbling sound. I try to roll over and go back to sleep, but a blaring alarm and a message on the loudspeaker demanding all B.I.G. employees to come to Cornelia's office drag me through reality. Ugh. It's like, 6:00 in the morning. Way too early for me, especially considering my midnight escaped the night before. I'm seriously considering pulling my coverlet over my head and pretending that I'm not an employee, but loud knocking on my door forces me out of bed.

"Coming," I groan drowsily, fumbling for some clean clothes.

"Open up Seth!" Giniva's voice. "It's urgent."

"I honestly don't care."

"Hurry up!"

"All right, all right. What's going... on?!" The rumbling sound gets louder. An abnormaly large gust of wind zooms through the window, flows around my room, and presses me against the wall. I rip open the door and stagger into the hallway.

"You're not supposed to be in the boy's dorms," I mutter to Giniva leaning against the wall.

"Seth. Wake up!" Giniva yells.

"I'm up!" I say, stifling a yawn. All up and down the hallway, doors are opening and closing, and gazillions of boys of all ages are running around screaming their heads off. It's not a pretty sight.

"I'm getting back in bed," I moan.

"No you're not! We're going to find out what is going on," Giniva says determindly, working her way through the chaos. She looks back at me when she is almost to the end of the corridor.

"Coming?" she calls.

"I suppose I have to," I mutter, ducking to avoid a boy who is wildly waving a pillow and screaming about the world ending.

Cyl~

"Capense!" I scream, "what's happening?" I grip my perch so tightly that my claws leave marks on the bark.

"Gather the team," he replies, flapping his great white wings against the dawn-sky. "The Power of Wing has been activated."

Laria~

I jump up from bed and stare at the girls around me, screaming that it's the end of the world. I wonder why, until and huge gust of wind flattens me back down onto my bed.No. No, please. My mind races wildly, still a little groggy. Wind. Something bad with Wind. Wings and a flute and a desk. . .  I gasp and struggle up again. The Power of the Wing has been activated. As quickly and efficiently as I can with the wind still pressing me from every angle, I stuff my arms into the sleeves of jacket and lace up my boots. I wrench open the door and dash down the hall. I fling open the front door and see animals clinging to their trees and branches. Crows and birds circle overhead. I hold out my arm above my head.

"Little Crow!" I yell. The wind tugs my voice away. Nobody seems to hear me. I gather air into my lungs and try again. "LITTTLE CROOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!" I scream. The smallest bird fights his way down to me. When he's finally within reach, I grab him to keep him from blowing away. "Where's Zephyra?" I still have to shout to be heard over the uproarous wind.

"She's still too weak to come!" He shouts back. "I'm supposed to come find out what's going on. She needs to know." I glance from him to the faucility. And back again.

"Go tell her the spies are going to fix it." I pray I sound braver than I feel. Little Crow nods.

"She still wants to come and help. I had to practically hold her back while I explained that she couldn't." I clutch my skeleton key, the wind bringing tears to my eyes.

"Fly safely!" I shout, releasing Little Crow. He spirals into the air and manages to control himself enough to start in the direction of Bleak Peak. I turn back to B.I.G.  and flee inside. I dodge the screaming people in the hallways, opening every door I find. Still no flute, power, whatever you want to call it. I'm so caught up in my search that I barrell right into Seth.

"Sorry, Seth!" I shout, hurrying past. I'm thirty yards away before I realize.

"I dropped my key." I whisper, my breath coming ragged and cold. I glance back at where it fell. So many people are flocking the halls and running, it could have been kicked anywhere. I guess I'll have to press on without it. An especially large gust of wind knocks my down and turns me in a sort of curve. My heart leaps with fear and realization. This whole thing is going in a huge circle, like a hurricane. All I need to do is find the eye of the storm. My head hits a doorknob, leaving me with a throb I'm sure I'll feel tomorrow.

Ignoring the pain, I struggle across the hallway, practically dragging myself across the floor now. I stand and navigate my way around until I'm sure I've found the door that leads to the ey of the storm. I jigle the knob, but it's locked.

"Well, at least I know for sure now.," I mutter. "Sure could use a skeleton key right about now." Funny, how annoying life is like that. You lose a skeleton key and in three seconds you need one to save the world. Cruel irony, isn't it? Still, I refuse to give up. I duck into the nearest utility closet. Relief seeps my lungs at the same time as merciless wind. There's a toolbox. With a screwdriver. My fingers, rather numb with all the wind, fumble with the latch until it snaps open. I grab the first flathead screwdriver I see and immediately set to work on the doorknob. After only a few minutes, it falls off in my hands.

My cold hands shove as hard as I can against the door. It budges, then a little more, then it swings open, leaving me sprawled on the floor at Proffessor Cornelia's feet. Anger throbs in my body as I see her clutching the flute. I jump up.

"Give that here!!!" I scream, choking up a little. Cornelia shakes her head.

"You had such potential, Laria." She sighs. "I'm so disappointed." I reach out to try and wrap my fingers around the object. It's runes glow as my hands draw closer, almost like it wants to stop being used but doesn't know how. I take a huge leap and grab the object. I'm surprised how warm it is. It burns my palm. I push Proffessor Henshaw away and run out the door. The wind still hasn't stopped. I need Zephyra, but I don't know what to do.

Proffessor Henshaw Hold out her hand, leaning against the doorway.

"Laria, give me the object!" My blood runs cold. I feel helpless. I twist away from her greedy grasp and make a mad dash for the door. I exit onto the yard. I wave down the nearest bird and pray that he can make it down. I hold up the flute.

"Bleak Peak!" i shout. He snatches it up in his claws and flies away. I can only hope Zephyra knows how to stop it.

Seth~

I finger the skeleton key in my hand. All the times Laria and I had worked together crash down on me as I watch her open the door to the TOPS lab.

"LARIA, NO!" I yell as she bursts in on a surprised Prof. Hornshaw two confused-looking scientists. Her big violet eyes, full to the brim with feeling and determination. Her mouth set in a hard line; her black hair swirling wildly around her shoulders in reaction to the wind-storm. Before I can run forward and stop her, she twists the flute away from Professor Hornshaw's hands and runs. That uneven, yet surprisingly fast run, with purple-toes of her tenis shoes pointing to either side. Why am I noticing this? Why am I caring if we were never really friends? Never really friends...

"Stop!" I moan, "Everything, just stop!" It doesn't.

"Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop!" Laria runs to the door.

"STOP! STOP! STOP!" Bob and Grog run after her.

"STOP! STOP! STOP!" Bob and Grog drag her away, kicking, screaming, yelling. One last spiteful look at me. One last pain-filled glance. And then everything explodes. Literally.

Oh man, livechat tomorrow! That's gonna be awesome :)

And I wrote kind of a long one this time. Hope nobody minds~

Tani~

From my perch in the vent that leads to the outside of the building, I stare into the night, shifting around. Lying on your stomach in a little metal box isn't a very pleasant feeling. Thankfully, this isn't the side of the building close to the guard's tower, so I'm able to watch without being watched. The moonlight coming through the vent's cover makes little diamonds on the cold metal, and I trace one absentmindedly as I watch the outside like a hawk.

Suddenly, an owl bursts out of a lower window. I suck in my breath. It's Storm. And he's carrying--

Oh man, oh man, oh man oh man oh man. My heart's beating like a rabbit's as I realize the white stone - the flute - in Storm's beak.

I spring up, hitting my head on the top of the vent with a clang. Glaring at the vent like it wants to kill me, I start to debate on what to do, my mind running a million miles an hour.

Or not. Because what I do next is pretty dumb.

I pull my hair up into a tidy ponytail and flip over onto my back. I tie my dark green scarf around my mouth and nose, fastening it securely in the back. Then I kick the vent's cover out.

Immediately, drones zoom over to my area (B.I.G. doesn't like alarms; too much panic), but I ignore them and shimmy out of the vent, my hands barely hanging on the edge. One, two, three and I jump.

I hit the ground pretty hard, but at least I hit it running. The drones fly all around me, directing their searchlights into a circle that surrounds me, saying, in their automated voices, "Please return to the compound for evaluation. Return to the compound for evaluation. It is past curfew. You have disrupted the environment. Please return to the--"

"Oh, shut up!" I scream, my voice partially muffled by the scarf.. The drones stop and whirr down in front of me. Something's coming out of one. A thin metal wire with some kind of liquid coating it. A sedative?

"Nope!" I yell as I jump onto one. "This is so not my day!" Straddling the drone like it's a bucking bronco, I pull a screwdriver from my pocket and pull out a panel on top of the drone. Good thing I've actually learned something here. I rip out a few wires and shove them into different ports. The drone stops, hovering in the air.

Then I twist a wire. The drone moves forward.

With no time to lose, I pull the wire, and the drone rockets towards the small bird in the distance. The compound's lights are on and tracking me, but I don't care. I laugh like a crazy person (practically cackling, for that matter) and zoom forward on my drone.

"Hey, you!" I yell when I catch up to Storm. "Looks like you could use an extra hand! Maybe one with opposable thumbs. No offense meant." Yup, I tend to make jokes when I'm stressed. I mean, I've hijacked a drone, broken out of my dorm, and am quite obviously the culprit.

Except that the dorm I broke out of was Freya's. The vent branched from her room, which she is currently absent from, burning the midnight oil in the biochem lab, as the professors let their bet students do. A hologram of me is still fast asleep in my own dorm (thank the powers that be for Trill's knack for mechanics).

What could go wrong?

I huddle against the wall seeking shelter from the roaring wind. People run past screaming.  As I watch them  a girl runs past holding a flute-shaped object.  Two scientists are chasing her.  Wait, is that that one object there's been such a fuss about lately?   The girl throws  it to a bird who catches it and  flies off. I run after the bird but an extra strong gust of wind knocks me over.  When I get up the bird is gone.  The girl is dragged off.

Giniva~

"Duhhh~" I chuckle. My hair is up in a high ponytail today, but I hide it under my hoodie until we leave the boys' dormitories. No sense in getting ratted out, if you ask me. I could have cut it but I didn't bring my hair growth formula.

As we leave and near Professor Hornshaw's office, Seth starts yelling one word repeatedly. I step around him just in time to see a girl, I think her name is Laira, being dragged by 'the assistants' as we call them.

I turn upon Seth, arching a brow. "Who was that? What did she do? And is there anything we can or should do to help her?"

He gulps, panic lining his voice. "S-she's an old friend. And she just tried to steal something...,"

I scanned him over. "Well we probably shouldn't help herthen..." I saw his face fall and quickly added, "Though that doesn't mean we can't help her."

He nodded.

"But first we need to find out what Trill and the other 'T' girl was doing last night "

Or at least, that was what would have happened if everything didn't explode. Me and Seth are thrown to the ground, along with the other students as well. The ground shake as the boy's dormitories go up in flames.

"Come on!" I yell, pulling Seth up. "I have something that can stop the flames. We need to get to the lab! The wind is blowing in direction and it will spread!"

(Did I get this right?)

Zerdan~
They had gone too far. I was only slightly annoyed that they were researching it, but activating it without a safe containment field could destroy this entire planet. I locked the door to my bunker and raced towards the storm that was now BIG. Outside was a human girl, some smoking drones and, holding the object, an owl? There wasn't any time to wonder why the owl had the object, I needed to return it to a containment field and soon. I reached for my grappling hook to retrieve the object, forgetting that, on my haste, all I had was my universal-tool and my anti-pursuant device. I aimed for the owl with the anti-pursuant device, and pulled the trigger.

I take a deep breath. This is it. Capense gave me orders to distract the Gryphon, and if there's one thing us chickens are good at, it's distracting. I slip on my new leather dress. I bought it only days earlier, knowing I would need some new clothes for fighting. I recalled the orders Capense gave me as best I could,'Storm, you lead the defense. You and Scarlet distract the gryphon while the civilians get to safety. Be ready to dive in and fight at any moment.' I wonder what Capri is doing. She's really my only friend in the Capto Abolere Organization. Well, I shouldn't say friend. She hasn't qu agreed to that commitment yet. I hope someone in Capt'n O will be my friend. We're mostly birds, actually. I can't fly as long as most of the team, though. I look out my window at the rampaging Gryphon. I have to distract that? I take one last look at my room, knowing I may never see it again. Then I jump out the window. I flap my wings wildly, then land softly on the ground. I run as fast as I can (which is faster than you would think) toward the Gryphon. Toward the danger. That's a rare thing for a chicken. I watch as the buildings burn. I know in that town somewhere, there's a small chicken farm, a chicken farm that I grew up on. I hope my prayers that they'll be okay are answered. As I approach the Gryphon, I take to the air. Flapping with all I have, I begin to panic. What's the plan? What am I supposed to do? What would Capense have me do? I thought I would be fine, but I start to relize that I never planned how I would distract the gryphon. I flap my wings high above the Gryphon's head. Then an idea pops into my head. Well, there's nothing else to do, and I don't have very much time. The Gryphon is swatting at me for all Its worth, and I'm running out of strength in my wings. I've never flown this high for this long before, and it's not a very successful experiment. So, although it doesn't seem very professional, I drop a bomb. That is to say, the only weapon I have, my own feces. It lands right on the Gryphons head, and does it's job. The Gryphon swats wildly at its face, then relizes that I'm the one who dropped the bomb. Luckily, I'm already yards away from the angry creature, perched on a tree branch. It certainly is distracted, and that was my job. I get a little too comfortable, that flying really drained me of energy. I relize I'm very thirsty, though. Then I spot a little pond not far off. I jump down from the tree and run toward it. After a good drink, I go back to fight the Gryphon. But when I turn around, I relize I won't have to. There's the Gryphon, it lets out a terrible roar, then seizes me in its talons. I almost let a scream escape my beak, then regain my composure. I think fast, my life depends on it. Then I start pecking the Gryphon, forgetting that it's half eagle. It pecks me back. The Gryphon's beak hits me and sends me flying through the air. I hit the ground with a thud. My head is spinning. The Gryphon is walking towards me. I try to stand, but crumple to the ground. My leg is obviously injured. I'm in the middle of who knows where, by the edge of a pond. No one will find me in time. The Gryphon picks me up and rips its sharp claws across my face, then tosses me out like old garbage. I hit the ground again, this time dripping with blood. I have lost the use of my knees, and my legs altogether. I can only hope that Capense, Cyl, Capri or Storm will find me. I slowly lower my head to the ground, trying to imagine how I will explain this to Capense, before I completely black out.
