(Shall we start?)

Trill sighed. She was standing near her bed in her dormitory room. She had three pictures of the Cypher wheel spread out in front of her. "Which one should I bring to the meeting place tonight?" she muttered. Shrugging, she picked them all up and tossed them into a bark and felt shoulder bag, along with some notes and papers. She was now ready for the night.

Trill sighed again and picked up a WWI codes book to wait until nightfall.

Oh, and when you become a scientist, you pretty much take the same classes on a higher level, and/or become an instructor, overseer, or part of TOPS.

Seth~

Knock, knock, knock.

"Giniva, I'm late for afternoon classes, can we do this later? Or maybe not at all?" There's no answer. I dash across my little cell of a room and open the door.

"Giniva, I really—"

"Hello, Seth." Laria's voice is steely and cold.

"Laria!" I take a step back. Laria stares at me for a second, and then looks at me with a weird, twisted expression, like she is trying to hide a smile.

"You're... you're shirt's on backwards," she says before she bursts out laughing.

"No! Not again!" I exclaim, before I start laughing too. Laria nudges me with her elbow.

"Turn it around goofball!" I nudge her back, then we're both elbowing each other and laughing. I remember what it feels like to be friends with Laria again. Memories from Cypher labs come up inside my head randomly; like the time when we tried eating ice cream cones while hanging upside-down from the maple tree which stood like a guardian in front of the labs, and the time one of my gadgets blew up in my face and Laria said it looked like I'd lost a fight with an maniacal volcano, and then... and then I remember her staring at me with her violet eyes when she'd caught me communicating with B.I.G. I stop laughing.

"I'm... I'm sorry." What could I say? I'm sorry for betraying you? For not being a real friend? For lying to you? D; all of the above. Laria's eyes turn cold again.

"Come, I'll walk you to your afternoon classes." I try to object, but she grabs my shoulder.

"Please don't judo-flip me again," I mutter, rubbing my hip, "I still have bruises from the last time you did that."

Cyl~

"I was on a mission with two other owls to B.I.G. Our instructions were simple; get in, scope the area, get out. But... I saw Professor Hornshaw in her office, talking to someone, so I told the other two owls to cover for me while I flew through an air vent and into B.I.G. I managed to get above her office to listen. The person said something like...

"I still don't see why you're making me overseer. But I'm fine with it as long as I get less homework and can beat up Andrew on a regular basis."

I can't remember what Professor Hornshaw said back, but she got impatient. Something about... pontential? Then she mentioned that she needed him for a mission, and he said back

"Does this have anything to do with the power—?" Dr. Horshaw cut him off, but it sounded important, so I stayed, trying to get more information. One of the owls, Cregar, called out to me, from outside, but I stayed in the air vent becaue I wanted more information. Cregar called again, and I flew up, but I was too late. One of the B.I.G. guards had shot him down without a second thought. He gave his life becuase I didn't come to his aid right away. And... it's my fault. It's my fault. It's my fault Storm!" Silverpaw looks as if he were considering something, but Storm doesn't wait for an answer.

"Come on," he says quietly, and together, two friends rise into the rising new day.

Some details forgotten!

Let's say Cyl stayed for the night because morning was coming (according to Cyl's post) but since my hollow is close by, it will be resonable to rest there. :)

~Storm

I was up in his hollow, out hunting breakfast, thinking about the message I just received. This is bad. We MUST rescue Aunt Zephyra, she's the only one who knows about the powers and their guardians. We must contact her otherwise. I fly into the hollow with grubs in beak, Cyl standing in front of the hollow, waiting for me. I hopped inside after Cyl and bleched the grubs and bugs on the table with plates laid out in front of us. I took a sip out of my nut cup and started chewing some of the food carefully.

"I've gotten news from Charlie on the Cricket website. Please check it!" I said after breakfast and when Cyl was about to leave the hollow. Cyl clicked her beak in acknowledgment and with a flap of her wings, she flew off. Hopefully, things would get better between Cyl and the Stealth Orders, and news with Aunt Zephyra. But a feeling in my gizzard told me that things are going to change now, and the guardians of the Powers are NOT going to be receiving good news.

It took Trill about a week to catch up on her sleep. During this time, she noticed Laria be...well, sort of, angry, when she looked at Seth. 'Where does she know him from?' She thought. Shrugging, Trill pushed the thought from her mind and threw herself into her Mechanics work-mainly to avoid Freya's suspicions. (Quick note-I just realized that today is March 1st!! OMG THIS MEANS WE ARE CARRING OUT THE PLAN?!?!?!?!?!? I'm good now.) Then one morning, Trill woke up with a feeling of anticipation. Today is the day, she thought. She walked around, getting breakfast and getting ready with a happy note in her voice. She got curious looks from a lot of people, including Freya, but she didn't care. She did tone it down a little near Freya though. Tani looked anxious to tell her something, so after classes, Trill and her dragged themselves upstairs to her room and talked. Trill thought her eyes would pop out of her head when she heard Cedric was a spy. Then she reminded Tani of the big infiltration. They both were nervous for a second, and sat silently. She then shook herself and sat up straighter. "Right," she said.

"Let's get this over with."

Trill, should we write here about the rescue mission or just transition from this thread to the rescue thread?

Giniva~

I knocked onSeth's door, but there was no answer. With a sigh, I squatted down to the ground, pulling a note out of my pocket.

Seth, would you like to go check out the woods tonight? You don't really have to, but I'm going to see what's over there. I deeply apologize if I sound like a brat, but this could be the beginning of something big! (Pun definitely intended) I'll be out there one hour after dinner.

Sincerely, Giniva.

On the letter before 'Sincerely' a couple words had been mindlessly crossed out. The word 'Friend.' I had troiubke deciding whether to leave the greeting or not, but decided against it. I didn't really have any friends, but maybe I should try to make some.

"Oh well," I sighed. "Off to Biochemistry!" Standing, I picked up my purse and scurried away from his room, wondering if he would actually meet me.

It kinda made me sound silly, desperate even.

This was my first time ever in the Chatterbox. I was actually afraid I might get in trouble from starting without permission or something. >_< I never thought it would have almost as many replies as the original Kyngdom post!

Eek! Giniva (and possibly Seth) are coming to investigate the woods! Addie has to do something!

P.S. Did anyone see my new charrie, Scooter? He's half with the F.A.F.A., half crazy. So he sometimes goes on rescue missions, sometimes tries to fly.

Addie~

Don't cross him? The phrase is not in my vocabulary. Nevertheless, I frown and head back towards my tree, wondering if the B.I.G. boy got back into his dorm. As I skip over the springy moss, I realize just how far I chased the odd figure. My fingers grasp the rough bark of the tree, and I boost myself up, my hair getting into my face. The boy is struggling to get up, but he's definately alive. He starts to climb up the wall, and I jump down, into the leaves. His head jerks back, and I realize that he's seen me. I growl, low, and dash towards my hiding place.

My sleeping place is well hidden in the brambles on the bank of a small creek. I crawl inside, but can't seem to get comfortable. I fidget with the ballpoint pen in my pocket. I jump at every sound outside. Finally I fall asleep.

I soar above the clouds, air hitting my scales, and then I spotted it. A strand of hair in my face. The next thing I know, I'm falling. I hit the ground hard. A crunch scares the animals, but not me I am dead, but my soul remains. I have a choice, return to my body or slowly disentigrate over trillions of years. I return to my body as it heals. I am a soul dragon. I don't die until I want to. I'm basically immortal. I'm not with fafa or big, but big put me in human form.

Okay, coming back over here now. In case you didn't see it, here's my latest post:  Trill saw Pheonix trying to hide in Morbid's pack. Suddenly, an uncontrollable rage rushed up inside her, and she dove at him. They ran. Trill was very tired, so this gave her a disadvantage over Pheonix. Still, she gave it her all as she sprinted after him. They ran through the woods, tearing between brush and branches. Trill tried very hard not to get scratched, for she knew that would not be a good thing to go back to B.I.G. with. Panting, she sized up Pheonix as they ran. Finally, after a short hesitation, she jumped at him. Miscalculating the distance, she landed ahead of him. Spinning on her feet, she ran towards him, unafraid, and tackled. After a short scramble on the ground, Trill let him go. It was useless. He had obviously disposed of the Power of Wing. Standing up, she watched calmly as Pheonix ran away. Only then did she realize the inevitable. Trill was was lost in the woods.

Tril sighed. She had been walking in what she thought was the direction of B.I.G. for almost an hour now, and she still wasn't back. She winced as she thought of the punishments Mrs. Hornshaw probably had in store for her. Trill sigges again and set off. A few minutes later, she heard voices in the trees. She leaped into some bushes and held her breath.  She watched as Ginivia and Seth passed by. What were they doing out? Trill wondered. Finally, they left. Trill went in the opposite direction that they were walking in. After walking for a while, Trill pushed her way through two trees and came out in a clearing. "Wha....?" she mumbled. Then, straight ahead of her, she saw it. A tree. Made perfectly from stone. Trill could not believe her eyes. Then she remembered the latest note from Zephyra..Dig below the stone tree. She had to tell FaFA about this. She took a picture of it, and and a picture of the two trees that led her to it. She couldn't wait.

~Storm

A few days after Cyl left my hollow, I was out on a flight, practicing my flying skills and practicing speaking with the winds. I spotted Trill in the forest, walking around, looking lost. Since I considered the spies friends, I followed her, but had to stay high in the sky to keep up. She suddenly stopped at a very thick part of the forest, so I swooped down to see what she was stopping to look at. The Stone Tree! Trill took a picture and quickly headed back to where she came from. The problem was, she was lost in the first place. I hooted, took out my maps, and marked the spot where the Stone Tree was. This is very exciting.

Laria~

I'm still a little mad at myself for laughing with Seth. He's a traitor, I tell myself. Still, looking at him, I think of that time we could eat ice cream cones upside down and I got ice cream in my hair. We'd both fallen off the tree because we were laughing so hard. I remember him in the corner when there was suddenly a loud sizzle, and a pop. He'd turned to me, looking stunned and covered with soot. I'd doubled over with laughter, wheezing out something about a manical volcano.

I shake myself out of my memories and continue walking down the hall with him. "Sorry," he repeats uefully. My throat constricts with surpressed feelings. I know I'm going to start crying in a sec, so I need to get it out as fast as I can. I take a deep breath.

"Seth, when we were back working on the Cypher, I trusted you. When I saw you talking to B.I.G., I felt like you were trying to-" I stop myself. Why am I suddenly going into my deepest darkest feelings. I stammer and finish the sentence. "I felt like you were doing it to only spite me. Like you were doing it only to be my enemy." I stand in the hallway, staring at him. He seems fascinated with his shoes.

"I'm sorry," he mumbles again. "I don't know what else to say. I can't justify my actions, and I know you were hurt." He smiles ruefully. "You never bought my lie about me spying on them, did you?" I smile back.

"I wanted to. I tried to," I admitt. "I don't suppose I ever really did, though." A student walks by in the hallway with a cup of water. She trips and drops the water onto the floor.

"Oh, no!" she wails. I dig into my backpack and pull out some napkins. I help her mop it up until the whole thing is dry again. She thanks me and runs off to class. Seth grins suddenly.

"Do you remember that time I brought you some coffee?" I laugh.

"And then proceeded to trip over one of my gadgets and spill it all over me?" I clarify. "Yes, I remember."

Soon, we're deep into the times of when we were working on the Cypher, memories and laughter. Sometimes one of us doesn't even need to finish a story before the other starts laughing.

"We had so much fun, Laria!" Seth cries. "We had such good times. We could do that again, here at B.I.G. We both know you have a way with animals. You could work in MART with me."

I nod quietly. "It doesn't have to be over," I whisper. And yet it does, I think. If he doesn't come back to FAFA, We can never work together again. It makes me strangely sad.
